Quick update:
I went to the doctor and everything is good. I am definitely bleeding but not sure from where at this point. The hematoma is gone so the doctor thinks that maybe the bleeding is from the hematoma bleeding itself out. The hematoma was not visible on the u/s. Babies are doing well. Baby A wouldn't stop moving. Baby B was quite a's active but quickly began moving around. Thank you all for your support.

Maria - our worst nightmare, more bleeding! I'm glad the hematoma is gone. Mine is gone as well and thankfully haven't had any bleeding in over 3 weeks. Could your Lovenox be contributing to the bleeding?

Patricia - I'm so glad I smoothed over my religious gaffe with you. That had me stressed out! You are kicking butt with that weight loss, inaccurate body fat measurements or no! That's sort of sweet that your trainer got so concerned. Getting close to a cycle again, eh?

Nicole - I'm so hopeful that you have a late little fighter in there!

akdelp - Hooray BFP!

AFM, continuing to taper off meds. Down to 2 Vivelle patches every other day and 2 Endometrin per day. I've started reading When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets, or Quads: Proven Guidelines for a Healthy Multiple Pregnancy. Lots of good info. I'm switching OBs from my last pregnancy and am going to make sure that my new OB has decent experience with twins. If not, off to a perinatologist I go. Nausea is still a problem but I thankfully haven't thrown up again.

I booked a family vacation today to Ft. Myers Beach in Florida over Memorial day. I figure that's probably as late as I'll feel comfortable travelling. It will be nice to float my big belly in a pool and relax in the sun.

Beta went up to 40. I'm to stay on my meds and go next fri for a u/s. her concern is of an ectopic which often is the case with erratic numbers. I'll remain hopeful that it's just slow like me. Nap time now. I'll check in
Later.

Crashing for Nicole!

I have been stalking all day for your update!! That is a pretty nice jump in beta numbers. Maybe it was a late implanter? FETs usually are. Either way I will keep you in my prayers. Will they do another beta? Stay positive!

blue - i am sending you doubling vibes! i hope this is a viable pregnancy that pulls through against the odds!!!!

i've had ectopic - and if it is one - god forbid - you'll see a slow down in rise. but if the numbers keep doubling as they are than you may have one of those miracle stories to tell!!

good thing they are checking your betas so frequently! my guys would see me once a week - its much better to know whats going on every 2-3 days or so.

AFM, i broke down and rented a fetal dopler. it will arrive on friday. after i ordered it i spoke with customer service and regreted it a bit. i have a backward tilted uterus, which means i may not hear the heartbeat until later in the pregnancy. i will be 12w3d when the doppler arrives on friday. with my backward tilted uterus it may be another couple of weeks before i hear it. but the company (babybeat.com) is so nice - they said they can move out my bill date by 2 weeks if i dont find the h/b now and want to just set it aside for a couple of weeks. very nice company.

I'm hopeful it will be ok. I teased my dh that I'm a slow starter so maybe it's just taking after me.

Felicia- No more betas, just the ultrasound next Friday. It will mark the 5 week time so we should be able to see a sac if it is there.

Bodie- Yeah, I agree. I wouldn't call the numbers erratic. I call them slow and low.

My poor dh- He was like so it's not good news and not bad news. I'll take it at good news because we had a great doubling, over doubling actually. Maybe it will catch up! It has happened.

Lyd- Good luck with the dopplar. I have a tilted uterus too. I hope it works for you.

Kerpupples- The vacation sounds nice. I would give anything for some warmth! It's cold and rainy here in Seattle.

Maria- The babies look great! I'm sorry you have to keep dealing with the bleeding.

Anyone seen Switched at Birth on ABC Family? It's about two girls switched at birth, one is deaf and one is Puerto Rican. It seems pretty good. The people at the sign class told me to see it.

Dh knows i like to listen to Delilah at bedtime every night. I know I know she plays sappy love songs but takes calls from her listeners and dedicates songs. I listen to the caller's stories more then anything... Well tonight, a guy called in to dedicate a song to his wife come to find out they have adopted 10 kids. I wanted to jump on the other line and ask from which agency but I smiled at dh and said you heard that TEN kids. He laughed and said we just want two right? I said well we aren't getting any younger and then I stopped dead in my tracks reminding myself I have to go through with the IVF treatment...first. If only I could skip a year ahead and see how this all plays out. The pain, the agathy, the stress and the countless sleepless nights would finally come to an end as we accept everything for what it is. Could adoption be our best interest? I know I owe it to dh and myself to give this everything we've got and I pray this IVF treatment is our next best step. I really don't even care about the loan anymore, this is our chance! Dh took a second job managing a storage unit part-time...he told me today they sponsor Hannah's House (a pregnancy not-for-profit organization) where they collect needed items for these teens. It must be hard for him to be around that, today he had one pregnant girl come by the storage unit office I told him he should of had a conversation with her! We laughed and he said you know if she didn't want the baby we could help her out. I played along and said well if she knew the father and everyone is healthy with no strings attached we could take that baby home in a heartbeat! Yes if only life was that easy, but that's just it as my dad once said...Anything worth having in life is not meant to be easy, so true and I really think in the process we become far stronger then just the ordinary. :D Anyway must get in bed, will be posting personals tomorrow...

Sunshine- You can still adopt even if your IVF is successful :) Lots of kids need homes.

I read a blog once that I thought was great. Someone had totally had it with the comments about infertility such as "well, you can always adopt". She wrote a great essay about "why is adoption just for the infertile". Obviously it isn't just for couples with infertility, but her point was just because I can't conceive doesn't mean that adoption should be treated like a consolation prize. It was great!

I think people who adopt, for any reason, are wonderful and giving people. It takes a lot of passion for kids and life to open your home to a stranger and devote your life to raising that stranger.

Nicole- I'm glad it went up!! I hope it will continue to do so! Like you said maybe it's just a slow start and will all be okay :)

AFM- I was hoping to copy/paste the list my RE gave me of bloodwork/exams they will/can do, but it won't let me. It list other things like Genetic testings and things like that. I don't think I should get those, at least not the first time around. What do y'all think? Also one is Testicular Sperm Extraction.. that is only if he has issues with his sperm correct? He's swimmers are find and think we'll only pay the 100 Euro prep fee. We will save on the consultation part some since I'll bring that with me unless we missed something, and I am sure we'll have to pay something just to sit and talk. I will also have to ask about the freezing and storage since we will be moving to the states hopefully this year. I def want it all shipped to the states before I commit to trying. NOT leaving his sperm or my eggs here.

Now here is hoping our hospital will give me these test/exams. They are funny about things like that they don't cover.

Amy- Sorry I am late on this board and still trying to catch up, are you having twins or triplets? How exciting... :) I hope to have twins :) but I will be ok if it was a singleton as well :) Always wanted alot of kids so if I have twins that would be great :) Twins run in my family I know that doesnt mean I have a chance with IVF to have twins but always thought I would be the next one to have them in my family :) Best of Luck :)

Nicole- Stay hopeful your numbering is rising so that is a good thing could be a late implanter :) Saying lots of prayers

Lyd- What a exciting purchase to get a fetal dopler, that must be awesome to listen... Hopefully it works on Friday as I am sure you are excited to have your 1st listen... :)

Christy- Adoption is a great option :) I always wanted a full house so I figured maybe after IVF works for me I will adopt my 2nd child... Everything will work out just the right way for you :) Text me later Im working till 5 :)
