Maria- How cute is that!! I didn't get mine until I was almost 5 months along. Of course it wasn't twins though. I hope one day I'll have a baby bump again.

I'm back! Did y'all miss me?

Akdelp - I really hope this is nothing. I've had spotting a lot in a few of my pregnancies, sometimes it's fine but sometimes it's not. I know how 'not knowing' is so hard. I hope for more GOOD news soon!

Nicole - oh crap. I'm so sorry that this is happening to you. I was so sure I would come back to some good news from you. I know how hard it is to spend so much time with so much hope, but so much doubt that things could be okay. Hold on and I hope you get some answers (and good ones!) on Friday!

Maria - vomiting, bleeding, getting fat - welcome to a twin pregnancy! I'm glad things are going well.

Antonia - I hope this new job perspective at least keeps you updated with how things are going with the applicants! Hopefully some good new things for you soon.

Amanda - so good to hear that your clinic found a donor for you! You have to pay half of her cycle AND all of yours? Wow - that must be expensive. I'm glad your RE gave you a discount!

Kynlee - welcome back! So glad to hear your cycle is going well! Good luck!

Patricia - when do you start your cycle? Are you on Lupron yet?

Gina - good for you! I ate like a pig on vacation, but starting now, I'm going to start watching what I eat and try to exercise more... hopefully you'll keep me inspired to lose some weight!

AFM - vacation was AMAZING! I highly recommend cruising :D We did and saw so much - and relaxed too. Most importantly, we got away from it all and had fun together, as a couple. Absolutely amazing. Pictures coming soon!

I'm so so so so glad we paid to do the hysteroscopy before we left. Of course, the bleeding wasn't so conducive to our romantic vacation (we were told no sex or swimming until the bleeding stopped, but luckily that didn't take so long!). We found out today that we'll get back a little more than half of the $2,000 it cost to get the surgery done privately. AND today we finallllyy got a call from the public hospital that they have a surgery date for me in late-April -- I'm so glad I could tell them that I've already got this done!

I go for SnS tomorrow to make sure everything is gone (should be, the doctor who did the surgery was sure he got everything) and to make sure my beta is zero. If so, I call the new RE who will probably tell me to start my Provera. 2 weeks later, I can start my cycle (7 days of Provera then another 3-4 days after stopping to get a period and then start)

David mentioned a few times about taking a break and not cycling immediately. I'm not sure I can though.... thoughts/advice?

Leora welcome back! :D Girls Thank you for your support, it means the world to me...
Feeling a little more energetic this morning, was in a fog yesterday, felt like I couldn't focus on anything that was around me really should of taken a personal day, :) but sleeping in today really help. I keep reminding myself to set up an obgyn appt for that "yearly exam" before IVF. My last clinic said once we become pg, our obgyn will be asking when our last pap check was done, and prefer us not to wait. I've only kept putting off the obgyn appt b/c it's difficult sitting in the waiting room, isolated in there around big bellies... It's never easy but realize detecting cancer is far more important then dealing with emotional stuff, we need to try to get this in soon and I know support is always encouraged. We must try to focus on how things will be so different this time next year and we're doing everything we can to get there, it's just not happening fast enough. Having a timeline and getting started again will certainly help. maybe I just answered someone's question, but I also know it's a personal thing if breaks are needed or should we start cycling again right away? I can say 6 months is far too long to wait, but needed to financially. Just called clinic, left vm to schedule IVF attain class in 2 weeks...Dh asked last night so we have one more cycle to try naturally before I start bcp, I said yes but at this point after 2 years since our first and only natural pg and loss we need to move forward. I know he's worried about taking out a huge loan but I told him we could wait if that really bothered him, he said "no this is something we both really want and I've kept you waiting much too long already."
Please forgive me for not posting personals, working the rest of today and then I'm off tomorow and will have my eyes dilated, my vision gets blurry at times. So I will back probably on Thursday. :D

Leora- loved the pics (and I did request to friend you). It looks and sounds like you had a wonderful time! I'm so glad. But my big question, did you gamble at all on the boat? That is sitll my most favorite part! I hope your appt shows nothing, that would be great!

We- I am so sorry about the bad bleeding. That just stinks but I'm glad the babies are fine.

AFM- still twiddling my thumbs waiting for AF. I don't understand why I haven't started yet. Today it's been 6 weeks since the D&C and they say you should have it anywhere from 4-6 weeks afterwards. Also, they gave me Provera and I started that last Wednesday. I am needing to get it by this Thursday or it screws with my dates. Maybe my body is revolting against me. What's weird is that I have been cramping for almost 2 weeks now, so I thought for sure I would have already gotten it. ARGGG!!!!! Oh well, maybe my body knows better than me and my time line.

Sorry for no more personals, sometimes I get a little overwhelmed with everything going on with the board and my mind goes blank. Just know that I pray and think of you guys daily.

Sunshine- I totally understand your hesitation in going to the OBGYN to get your yearly done. Your RE doesn't do them? Mine does. The reason I hate going is a little different than yours, my reasoning is that I get soooooo sick of people poked and prodded and it's just another thing to have to get done.......and just another reminder that I'm not prego. Anyways, hang in there, things will come in the right time that they are supposed to. I just wish we knew the timing, then it would be easier to deal with what we have to deal with. And you are right, checking for cancer is more important than emotions and pretty much anything.....but it doesn't always make it easier to go do.

Leora! YEAH!!!!!!!! You were missed. Love the pics! You look so happy! :) I did request you... :)

Blue - The lab issue they had was that they have 4 filters in the lab to monitor the air quality and pressure in the lab where the eggs are. Well, someone removed a canister and were only operating on 3 canisters, and were having issues with the eggs (won't give me any statisics - I asked for the success rates during this period)...they changed everything to to try and isolate the problem (took them 8 months) and it was the last thing they checked. During this 8 month time frame I had my retrieval, and two FET transfers. I spoke to the lab director and asked if my eggs were compromised and she said no.....well, if I can't wear deoderant, have to wash with unsented bar soap, wear no makeup and husband has to get all gowned up to even go into procedure room to just have my transfer, then tell me how these super delicate little eggs weren't all compromised by bad air!!! She even told me that they draw air out of the parking ramp and on days the hospital was really busy, they had poor results. On days they were slow, they had better results.....They admit they had a problem but think that since they fertilized they all should be ok....well guess what...I am betting they are not!!!!!!!!! Husband wanted to get an attorney right away...I didn't. Now, I am second guessing that. I am pissed. I am part of thier warranty program, which says that is I use all my eggs and don't get pregnant that I will get a portion of my money back....I think since they had an error, and broke my confidence in their program that I should not have to endure going thourgh 3 more losses (that's how many more frosties I have) to get my money back.....so not fair....

AFM - super, super light pink sotting....waiting for labs tomorrow....

Leora- You were def missed!! Glad you and your DH had a great time though, it was deserved!! Glad you got to relax and enjoy yourselves. Thanks for sharing the pictures, they are just beautiful and it is nice seeing you both in them! Dh had thought many times about taking a cruise. We may just do that when we get back to the states. We've thought about a cruise to Alaska.

I'm glad you got it done before you went AND get that much back. Awesome! Already ahead of the game! Hoping they got it all and your numbers are back to zero! As far as waiting...I hate the waiting when it comes to ivf or anything having to do with infertility. I am so anxious to start! DH is fine with waiting because it IS more ideal for us, but if we have the money and can't get a try before moving, I'm going for it! After all we've been waiting 12 yrs to really do something about it and it needs to get going! With all the waiting you've done getting your BETA to zero I would start soon as you get the go ahead.

One of the reasons I want to cruise IS for the food! lol :) I'm glad you enjoyed it and ate what you wanted! I'm starting small right now and giving myself a treat (if I want it) once during the week AND once day during the weekend. Then I plan "cheating" just weekends.

Maria - your belly is adorable! I think mine is on the verge of doing the same thing - right now I'm just very thick-waisted. Have had to bust out maternity clothes though. So sorry about the continued bleed. Mine was also considered a large bleed and it had completely disappeared by the next ultrasound 2 weeks later. I'm sure your bedrest will do you loads of good. And hey, at least you know where it came from now.

Patricia - don't worry about stressing me out. On a scale of 1-10 of things that stress me out it was a 3, max. :)

Christy - I've been to Sanibel Island once for a wedding, but not to Ft. Myers Beach itself. Sanibel was lovely though. The house we've rented has a dock right on Estero Bay and is about 2 blocks from the beach. It even has a pool if we are too lazy to walk to the beach. I'm very excited, can't wait to get somewhere warm! Whereabouts are you in Florida? I'm sure you have mentioned but I forget.

Akdelp - hang in there lady. You were very close to doubling so maybe there was just a hiccup. Your first beta was just fine - my first with DD was only 90.

Kynlee - I know you asked me something but I can't scroll that far back!

Leora - Lady, so glad you had a great vacation! I bet the doctor got everything and you can resume cycling soon. Regarding what David said - did he say why he'd suggested that? It could be possible that HE needs a short break, in which case you should probably do your best to honor that. But likely he's probably just worried about you.

Nicole - great news about DH's swearing in. Sounds like a very memorable ceremony. Hope that spotting stops soon!

AFM - I had my first OB visit today and it went wonderfully! This is a new OB on referral from a friend who really likes her. Not only did she not make any snide comments about my weight, she was wonderfully thorough and even insisted on taking a quick pick at the heartbeats on the ultrasound herself. The babies looked perfect - very similar to Maria's pictures above. And I'm being weaned completely off the IVF drugs and have been released by my RE. Happy day! I am thinking of weaning myself off Prozac though, so my babies don't have to deal with withdrawal when they are born. Does anyone have experience with this?

Evening ladies

Maria: great photo.

Leora: welcome back. Really glad you had such a great time. We dont use lupron here. I would imagine its the same sort of thing as the nasal spray we have instead, stops ovulation. I start that on thurs and take it for 2 weeks before my baseline and then for the 10 or 11 days of puregon injections and stop taking it just before the trigger injection.

Christy: hope your eyes are ok

Ker; great you like your ob - she sounds lovely

Akdelp: how are you doing?

LauraN: after d&c it can take anything up to 12 weeks for af. I was told 4-6 and af arrived 8 weeks after which I subsequently found out is more usual. Its a tough wait though and i hope af arrives soon for you

Nicole: how are you doing?

Gina: the food stuff is hard isnt it?

Kynleen: how are you?

Afm: went to clinic today, talked through the new consents for 3 and 5 day blasts. If we get to three day they would consider putting in 3 because im 40 but I. So not planning on going for 3!! On the upside noone weighed me! Im a kilo off what they want (2.2 lbs) and i know they still could weigh me but im hoping not! Went to weight watchers and ive lost another 3lbs, so 11 in total. Thats been over 9 weeks so its very slow but ill keep at it. What level of progesterone support do you have? Last time I had 2 cyclogest pessaries which I think were 400mgs in total for the two week wait. This time I've been given a gel which is inserted using an applicator but its only 90mgs. I always had an issue that the two weeks wasnt enough but now reducing it to 90mgs too? What do you think?

Late night for me. Had our weigh in and seminar at the gym. Even after not being able to work out much and failing at the diet, I still managed to lose one pound. I'm down 7 lbs. Not huge but I'm happy with it.

Maria- Your belly is beautiful. Did you dr put you on baby aspirin instead of the lovenox or just stop it all together?

Patricia- You are doing great. Good luck with the upcoming cycle.

Leora- Welcome back. Your trip looks wonderful.

Ok, sorry for lacking tonight. I'm pooped and must go to bed. Will check in more tomorrow.

Blue-my OB took me completely off of all blood thinners. Considering I had buckets of blood conning out of me, sorry for TMI, I understand why she had to make that decision. I actualy Aldo ended up with two bloody eyes after having a vomiting episode. I must have strained so much to vomit that I burst blood vessels in both of my eyes. If you've never had this happen, it's not painful or bothersome at all, it just looks really ugly. I'm still really worried about not bring on the Lovenox and what could happen to the babies because it this. Given the circumstances I know there isn't anything else I can do but it still scares me. I'm do happe you were able to loose another pound. That is great. Please know that I am praying for you. I pray that you get good news on Friday.
