Katieb, I was reading your post and thinking that hopefully in September I will be in your shoes with a newborn and a 2.5 year old. Very interesting! Looking forward to the challenge.
I am doing good. Using my Doppler periodically. Although last time I used it I couldn't find the heartbeat at first. Set it aside and tried again in a few. It was nerve racking. But I think I am getting the hang of it.
Pregnancy hormones make me bitchy. I m very short with people at work. But they are mostly guys so they can take it
I called my OB to see if I could get an us at 16 weeks, rather than waiting for my level 2 at 20 weeks, but she said there was no medical reason for insurance and it would have to be out of pocket. She did say that when I come in to see nurse practitioner at 16 weeks I could ask her to take a quick peek. I am plannig on doing that. Bt even that appnt is not for another 3 weeks. So long.... Thank godness for my Doppler.
I thought I was for sure going to do a c- section this time, because I already had one. But now I am starting to think maybe I should attempt a vbac. It would just be so nice not to have to bleed from the csection afterwards. My doc told me that 66% of vbacs succeed and the remainder fail.
I hope everyone is doing well and having univentful pregnancies.
