Blue - i am so sorry!

kynlee- with E2 of only 3000 you dont have to worry about OHSS. My E2 was over 4000. you may feel worse if you get pregnant. that's whathappened to me. i was fine after ER. but once my HCG starting climbing that's when i gained 10lb of water.

Leora - i ve got my ticker all ready at liipie - but its too long and i am struggling with it. urgh.. i am 13w today - old fashioned update :) that is so exciting that you are going to be at ER in 6 weeks. i love those antagonist protocols - they are so quick. unfortunatley they are no good for 40 year olds. but they work great for 20 year olds - as your results show!

Leora - good advice. My aunt is actually a child psychiatrist - I think I'll start be asking her. The stuff that I've read online about Prozac withdrawal sounds different than what my OB told me but it does sound like the hospital would want to observe them closely. I don't know, it really depends on how well Ian does quitting drinking. So far so good in that regard.

Very glad to hear that things will be back on track for you. I'm sure if you're ovulating, your period will come.

Akdelp, I am choosing to remain optimistic for you.

Nicole - I'm so very sorry. I hope you have a wonderful anniversary celebration tonight anyway. You two have plenty to be thankful for.

Gina - not a bad idea about getting something to help me right away if I do try to go off. I've weaned off once before and I was fine - I'm just worried about trying to do so with everything I've got on my plate right now. HOw exciting looking for a new place to call home! I've been to Huntsville and to Atlanta but not the areas in between where you are looking. The drive to Huntsville from Nashville was breathtaking, so I'm sure you'll be in a gorgeous area. I've had a root canal and I did fine with a local, but I'm not a kid. I'm sure it's much scarier for your son.

Kynlee - your fert rate is great! We've always had to do ICSI and if anything I think it increases success rates over non ICSI. Regarding OHSS - I started feeling yucky a day or two prior to ER but I didn't have the full on huge tummy and shortness of breath until 2 days after ER. With any luck you could avoid it! I've also had estradiol of ~4000 prior to ER and did not hyperstimulate at all. Losing a pet is soooo hard but I'm sure you will love your new pooch!

Patricia - does the nasal spray give you headaches like the Lupron injections do? That was no fun. Hang in there!

Maria - Hooray for no bleeding! I'm knocking on wood for you. How's the constipation? TMI, but I've actually developed a hemorrhoid from mine. Ugh. I think I noticed awhile back that we were a week apart because I'm subconsciously using your dates to remember when I need to schedule things. LOL! Twins are doing great. Belly is bigger every day!

Julia - hi lady, good to see you! Congrats on the new car! I'll be watching for your cycle this time.

AFM - starting to feel a little better. My mornings are much better. Evenings though, I still have nausea and get wiped out early. DH has quit drinking so I'm hopefully optimistic and supporting him through that. Work is picking up a bit too so my days don't seem so long.

Blue- I'm so sorry ((HUGS)) you are going through this again.

Kerpupples- Thanks. I hope you will be able to wean yourself off of them and everything will go well. Sometimes just scrubbing the heck out of a tub helps me lol. When we lived in Kentucky we drove through Tennessee on the way to GA. It's beautiful through there.

Nicole, I'm so sorry. Take all the time you need to heal, please know we are here for you always. x

Maria, kerpupples, bodie, margi, lydia, and all the others who frequently crash- Seeing you over here checking in on us warms my heart. At times it tough on the ones who have suffered losses, but through it all we get stronger and more determined to keep going. We thrive on reading success stories, there was a time when you were in our shoes uncertain about the future, but you never gave up, and you made that dream happen. Anyway, thank you for continuing to be there providing us much needed support and encouragement, I know it makes a difference to so many of us and I couldn't imagine this journey without you. x

Wehavehope- thanksfor the pick me up on the OHSS, I guess I am just nervous cause when I had it the 1st time I was clueless and then these last two times it was nothing like the 1st time... Just got nervous from reading horror stories about it...

Lyd10- Did they have to Drain the water when you had the OHSS or did it go away on its own? My belly is alittle swollen but nothing that is concerning yet, I only gained less then 2 lbs Im a little sore but figured that was from the 19 eggs they retrieved... I talked to nurse today and she said unless i gain alot of weight and i have a hard time breathing that i should be fine... She said for me to just keep monitoring and to call if I get concerned so I think I will just take it easy... Seems from alot of post on this that most people have the issue a couple days before ET or by 2 days after.. Today is 2 days so I am thinking I may be ok... :)

Blue- I am so sorry, I know you are in a lot of pain and I wish I could take it away its not fair what we have to go through to have it taken away after being so excited about it... ( i am sending you a huge hug from RI) We are all here for you... xo

AFM- Got the call today I will be having a 3 day transfer tomorrow morning... excited but alittle scared since its not a 5day... Has any one had luck with a 3 day? We are suppose to transfer two but was thinking should I ask for 3? Does E levels go down each day after you trigger or do they still rise after the fact? I was about 3200 on the night I triggered and I think with me reading so much up on OHSS it got my heading spinning... Sorry to keep asking about it I guess I just need reassurance... :) So we got our new dog last night , love at first sight :) we named her Isabella Bella for short... She is a Austrilian Cattle Dog/ Mutt since we dont know for sure what her Dad was, they say they think he may have been red coonhound... She is absolutely beautiful.... :)

*Knock Knock* Is this where one start? :)

I've been lurking for a while! I started my first IVF cycle today with the birth control pill so I thought it would be a good time to join in officially.

Questions for everyone...

#1 How did you manage your appointments (ultrasounds, blood work, etc) with your work schedule? This is going to be very challenging for me since I am in meetings between 8-9AM most days which doesn't give me enough time to go before or after (first appointment is at 7:15AM, last 9:15AM). I need to do something about this but not sure what! Those meetings are with people in a different time zone so I can't push them back.

#2 On a scale of 1 to 5 where 1 is very difficult and 5 is super easy, how would you rate the injection process? That's what I am most worried about (like most women I guess...). I've been known for passing out after getting IVs, vaccines or blood drawn. Not too proud of that!

Well hello again :D
