Ashley - Athena is adorable! And I can relate to your angst. We just closed on our house/moved. Maribel has been sooo clingy lately. On top of her teething, she's been having separation anxiety to the point where if I leave the room she gets upset (the longest I've been away from her is a few hours one day for an appointment so you'd think she'd be sick of me LOL.) Needless to say though, packing/moving/unpacking has been quite the challenge so it's been lots of time in the Moby wrap working with me and moving from room to room with an armful of toys and stuff for her to do. Good luck on the move!

Lou - love the pic of Chloe! And yes, rice cereal alone is pretty much like eating paste LOL. I'm glad she enjoyed her peas!

deftonesmo - Grady is so cute! Congratulations!!

AFM - As I mentioned to Ashley above, we closed on our house on 1/31 and moved in the next day. Challenging to say the least with just me & DH moving us and our clingy little one wanting our full attention, but we did it and we're loving the new place. The joint pain I started having a couple months after delivering was diagnosed as psoriatic arthritis (I've had psoriasis for almost 18 years now so knew the accompanying arthritis could be a possibility) and it's slowly getting better with the help of weekly methotrexate and we'll be adding biweekly Humira injections in the next couple of weeks. Despite the fact that it's still affecting my knees, feet, and toes, I'm just glad I'm moving better these days and it's not 24/7 pain like it was from August-early January. And in happier news, here's a couple of pics of Maribel from this morning having her breakfast. In the second one she's showing off her 2 pearly whites. She brings us so much happiness, she's my little sunshine! :D

Ashley- Athena's teething already? My how time flies...she is adorable!

Dallas- how are you doing? Is your little guy getting to be more manageable?

Lou- thanks for making me feel better on the decision to move Evie out of the room. It is going wonderfully! Great pic of Chloe and the peas. How fun!

Chris- I appreciate the advice! Nice to know I am not the only one who is open to moving the baby out early. I love the idea of attachment parenting, but not at the expense of being a well rested Mom capable of taking care of my little girl and feeling good.

Mora- I just adore Grady! How are you doing?

Klingler- Maribel is a total doll! Great pics. Congrats on the move and good luck with everything.

Mamaboo- So glad you can finally give your little man smooches!

Yignz- Same thing has been happening with Evie but it is starting to get better. She still strains a little and looks like she is in pain when she poops but it seems to be getting easier. I think that their little digestive systems just have to mature and they also have to learn how to relax and push at the same time in order to have a movement. I am sure it won't be long.

AFM- here is a pic I took with my iPhone at out photoshoot last week. I so wish I had gone sooner while she was still super small but I have been such a germ phone that I couldn't do it!

I can't believe how big everyone's LO's are getting! Seems like just the other day I was reading the boards and seeing how everyone's pregnancies were progressing now we're here! Wow!

Is anybody co-sleeping with their LO? I have a co-sleeper nnext to my bed and Grady starts the night off there, but eventually he sneaks his way into our bed . . . I've taken all the safety pre-cautions of sleeping with a LO in my bed and I have to say, I'm really liking it. Makes breastfeeding so easy in the middle of the night! I don't know how long I will do it (definitely less than a year), but so far, so good!

We had our first smile today! Magical.

Mora- Evie is in her nursery but I bring her in bed with me for her last feeding of the night as its starting to get light. We side nurse and I lightly doze. I love it! Wish I could do it all the time but it wasn't meant to be with our noisy sleeper.

My older sonjust developed a cold sore! I was soooo careful. However, earlier in the day I developed my cold sore, I didn't know I was getting one. Boothe took my fork & was using it. I let him use it because I didn't know I was getting a cold sore, but I've worried about it ever since! Now I'mfreaking out. He is sitting around picking at his lip, and I can't stop him. He eats with his fingers...I cannot wash his hands every two mins! I am SUPER stressed!

Amanda - I don't know how you did it! I can't get myself to do any sort of packing! (maybe since the baby just went down for her cat nap, I should be packing instead, haha) Kudos to you for getting it done all while entertaining Maribel. She is so stinkin' cute!!!

Alisa - I attributed her extreme crankiness/fussiness throughout the day to teething, but now I'm thinking it may not be teething, after all. I don't know! I'm so confused. She has been better lately since I've been logging her nap times/feeding times to get a better understanding of her schedule. Ever since her 3 month growth spurt hit, she has regressed. She used to be able to give me 5-6 hour stretch of sleep, but now we're back to every 2-3 hours. :( Very exhausting. Love the picture of Evelyn! She's beautiful! Can't wait to see more! We didn't get professional pictures of Athena taken until she was 3 months, so don't feel so bad. We are major germophobes here, so we didn't want her exposed to anything, especially it being a flu season and all. Oh yea, aren't those smiles the best? It still gets me every time!

Deftonesmo - Grady is such a gorgeous little man! We're still co-sleeping with Athena in our bed despite having a mini crib next to us. Athena and I found it more comforting sleeping next to each other, even though we're BOTH VERY light sleepers! It stinks, but like you said, it makes breastfeeding a lot easier in the middle of the night! She used to love cuddling next to us when she was just a few weeks old. Now, she's more of a Ms. Independent and likes her space, lol. Sometimes, I have to go sleep in the guest room because she takes over my side of the bed by somehow getting into a horizontal position. When we move into our new place in a week or so, we're hoping to transition her back into the mini crib. She's literally coming in the middle of DH's and my intimate life, lol. Hubby's complaining. :P

MamaBoo - So sorry to hear your son developed a cold sore :( :(

Here are a few pics of Athena and her fam :)

Ashley- those photos are absolutely gorgeous. You are an adorable family! Sorry to hear that Athena has been inexplicably fussy and not sleeping long stretches. I was just making the comment to DH yesterday that it seems like everything so far has been two steps forward and one step back. For instance...we haven't had a smile since the first day she flashed them! Of course part of that is that she hasn't been feeling well. I sucked out some yellow goobers from her nose a couple days ago and she has had some mild nasal congestion. I'm thinking she probably doesn't feel like smiling.

Like I said...two steps forward and one back! Maybe that is just the way it goes. Doesn't help with the sleep for you though! I hope it gets better soon and that everything is okay with your little one. Keep us posted.

Mamaboo- ugh! That is such a bummer. :( At least you are rid of yours...but I am sorry to hear that your little guy picked one up too.

It's been rather quiet here lately. I guess everyone is busy with little ones. Well, good. That's a good problem to have after trying for so long.

I have a stupid, nasty cold that my DH brought home from the hospital. :x Baby seems to have a less severe version of it. I hope it stays that way. My throat was so sore, I had trouble drinking anything. Throat is getting better though. I can deal with the rest easier without the throat issue. I'll be ok in a couple more days.

Look forward to hearing from you guys.TTYL

I think it is time for me to move over here....I am still struggling a little bit with the new baby and a toddler issue, mainly I am totally exhausted! But things are getting better Liv is now sleeping about 5 hours at night so that makes a huge difference and Em seems to be getting back into her old schedule. Potty training is going very very slow and that is frustrating for all of us I think. But we are getting our schedules synced and all is going ok so far...Em did ask me the other day "I guess her is staying" which means yes your baby sister is not just a visitor! We did get a good chuckle out of that!

Can someone tell me how to put a picture in my signature? I know I am a software engineer but seriously I am too exhausted to figure it out! Hahaha

I have been playing catch up and looks like everyone is doing well just trying to figure this stuff out like me.....happy to see lots of familiar faces over here and probably tired ones like me :?
