Lyd--good luck at your nucal scan. That will be a big relief to get that done.

HappyBunny--you are really showing now! wow. You look adorable. I wanted to say that my brother and I are 1 year and 2 weeks apart and we were the best of friends growing up! If I didn't have fertility issues--we would have tried for close together too.

Alexis--so cool that you will be having at least one girl to compliment your dear son.

Kerpuppies--do you have a hunch if your twins are boys/girls or both?

AFM--I had my second beta on wednesday and it was 1,045. I am feeling naseous and fatigued--so that is good! I think it is starting to sink in that I am really pregnant. I just hope I stay that way! Trying to stay away from the internet now.

Are you guys worried at all about how baby number 2 (and 3) will fit into your family? I love my baby girl so much--I started feeling anxious about not having enough time to spend with her with a newborn to take care of too. I feel kinda like I am abandoning her! I know that sounds crazy because I am giving her the gift of a sibling for life--but I can't help feeling sentimental about our time just the two of us. I also worry how I could love another baby as much? Do any of you worry about this--or am I a nutty pregnant lady?!

Sue: Fantastic second beta! You are definitely off to a great start!

I was kinda worried what if I had another girl... I mean, I would love any baby that we had but I really wanted Brooke to be my special little girl. I gave Brooke my middle name and thus we have the same initials. I was worried if we had a second girl, what would I name her? I wouldn't want her to notice how we named Brooke and be jealous or feel excluded so we'd have to come up with something equally special.

Now that my pregnancy is moving along, I'm less concerned as I was in the beginning. Besides, the baby is probably a boy according to the last ultrasound. As I look at Brooke's outgrown clothes, I get a little weepy knowing that we probably won't use them again and miss holding my little newborn girl and miss her little Christmas dress. And I get a little sad that Brooke probably won't have a sister.

It's funny how I'd go back and forth and worry about this and that. In the end, I know that when they hand me our new baby, my mind will be blown and I'm going to fall in love again.

I'm excited about having a sibling for Brooke and I'm trying to prepare Brooke now by doing things like getting her used to her pak-n-play and encouraging her to play with toys by herself rather than me always playing with her and the toys. Also, my husband is a real parenting partner so I know that he's going to be helping so that my attention won't be so divided. I'm sure we'll have some learning to do with a newborn and a 1 year old but I think that we'll adapt fast.

That is a great second beta Sue! How are you feeling?

I do have a hunch that I have boy/girl twins. It's completely unscientific. I guess we'll see!

I am definitely worried about Morgan and the relationship with her siblings. She LOVES time with mommy and I don't know how well she will deal with having that cut back. I do think she'll be a wonderful older sibling though, especially with as bossy as she is! I also hope that the relationship that the twins have with each other doesn't make her feel left out in any way.

HI ladies!
Sue, how are you feeling? Is your first ultrasound on the 28th? I bet you are so excited for it! I still get excited each time. I too am worried how our son will handle having 2 new siblings. I worry how much this will rock his little world, although, he's such a sweet little boy that I know he'll be fine. I just want to make sure both his dad and I are able to make special time for him. You should join the August 2012 babies board on pregnant after treatment (even if you have a later due date...). It's not as active as this thread was, but it's nice to keep following everybody we cycled with!

LYD, how are you doing? Did you have your nuchal scan? How is everything looking?

Amy/Kerpupples, how are things going for you? Are you still super tired? When is your next ultrasound?

Barbara, how are you doing? Your pregnancy picture was just darling! You are definitely showing :D We take weekly pictures too, and I feel like I'm showing, but the pictures just make me look thick around the middle. I'm sure I will pop very soon though!

AFM, things are just chugging along. I have been less tired, but it has been hitting me a bit again this weekend. I was a little surprised by that. I am currently debating seeing a perinatologist (mostly so I don't worry about not seeing one!). Our nearest true NICU is about an hour away, so that makes me nervous if I deliver early. Our next ultrasound is March 15th and I can't wait because I'm sure I will know the sexes of the babies then (and I LOVE to see them of course).

I hope everybody is feeling good and I look forward to hearing more updates from you gals (should we all just agree to post on the pregnant after treatment August 2012 babies thread?).

Hi ladies!

I'm doing good... Just cruising along. I'm starting to feel the baby move now and then; it's nice to get a little message that everything is going okay in there.

Alexis: I'm sure that you'll pop soon - mine just kinda happened overnight.

I have my Level II ultrasound on Thursday. I'm nervous. I always worry before any testing because I'm fearful of bad news. But there is a good thing - we'll know the gender for sure and be able to start planning.

I say that we hang out here a bit longer until Sue is ready to move to the PAT 2012 board. We've had a really good run with this thread, lots of us came away with babies.

Sue: How are things going Sue? Is it almost time for your ultrasound?

Hi ladies,

I am cruising along as well. Not showing yet - just fat around the midlle. but it's only 13w. I am so glad I got my Doppler and got it to work. I listen to heartbeat every day and it's such a peace of mind.

I had 2 tests results come back good and still have QUAD left at 16 weeks. I am not due to see the doc until end of march, right around my DS 2 yrs old bday.

That's about it for me!

Hope everything is good with everyone!

Congratulations Barbara on being team blue!!! Little boys are awesome and don't worry kids quickly adjust to being the "big" brother or sister. I worried about my son too especially since he had been an only child for 11 years and has been the center of our universe. He did great with the arrival of baby Paul. He is my little helper and I constantly praise him for his help and include him in everything that Paul needs and he is doing great. Sure Phil and I have had to make some adjustments like...we used to attend every one of DS sports functions together and now we have to alternate as in one game I go and 1 game DH goes.

Don't worry ladies you are all wonderful moms and your kids will always have plenty of your love.

PS what really helped in the beginning is having some special time set aside for just DS and I or DS and his dad. He and I would have Sat morning breakfast at IHOP together or DH would have video game night with him so that way he knew he had his own special time too

Hiya Guys~
I have been away on holiday with my husbands family--which has been a great distraction. We have our first ultrasound tomorrow! I am scared to death. I just worry about it being a blighted ovum or other horrible news. Although I am feeling quite ill and exhausted--so am hoping that means a healthy pregnancy in there and that we will see a strong heartbeat tomorrow. That would be such a relief! I think maybe I could relax a bit then.

HappyBunny~A boy!! congratulations!!! What exciting news and how nice to have one of each : ) I wanted to say that i can totally relate to what you said about your daughter's name--My girl's first name is my middle name! What will we name number two if she is a girl? And how is she going to feel?! Now you don't have to worry about that anymore cause you are having a sweet baby boy!

LYd-- I am so happy to hear your test results are coming back good! That is such a relief. How cool that you have your own dopler--it must be so reassuring to hear that heartbeat!

Alexis--I am feeling so ill already! and I started having food aversions too! But I find it reassuring cause I know if must mean I am still quite pregnant. I am hoping for a healthy heartbeat tomorrow--then I will breath a sigh of relief.

Kerpuppies--did you find out the sexes yet? I hope all is well.

Annashope-- thank you for the great advice from somebody who has been there with adding a sibling.

Sue, good luck tomorrow! I am sure it will be fine, given how sick you r feeling!

Yes, I am very much enjoying my Doppler. I ordered it from babybeat and it's a rental. Great service st that place. They gave me an extra tube of gel for free.
