Need Re-assurance

Post by brit1612 »

Today was our first beta (13dp5dt) and we got what most people would say is a great number (465), but for some reason I feel worried. At 14dp5dt with my son his levels were well over 1,000. I know they were super high, but I am having a hard time not comparing them to eachother. We have been through three early miscarriages, so hopefully you all understand why we would be a little nervous.

Anymore have more than one child that started out with pretty different beta levels? Or any other beta levels similar to mine??? Thanks for the re-assurance in advance!!! Good luck to everyone!
After 7 attempts (2 negatives/3 miscarriages), we have TWO miracle boys!! If you would like to hear our story, please visit http://www.ivfsuccessstories.info. Never give up, it can happen for you!!

Brit - with my first set of twins, my beta (at 14dp3dt) was 540, with my first singleton (miscarriage) my beta was 350 (at 12dp5dt) and with my second set of twins, at 11dp5dt my beta was 200 --- so all over the board! Try not to worry. Congrats on your BFP :D

Congrats!

My two singleton pregnancies were very different in their beta numbers and doubling times. My second pregnancy was much higher and doubled much faster.

My first beta with DD was 90 at 12dp3dt. With doubling times that would have put beta at 16dp3dt at 360. DD is a healthy, vibrant little girl. Betas vary SO greatly...try not to stress!
