Ronda, thanks for the strong vibes!!! Maybe they were too strong for me...

...because there are 2 sacs in there!

At one point, doc is funny man because he says, wait it looks like three...how many did you put back?

Yeah, okay. I'm going to not think about this and wait until my next appointment on March 23rd. Two sacs is one thing, but two heartbeats is for real. One thing is for sure, I would rather see 2 sacs versus none.

Thanks for your support ladies! Hope everyone is having the gorgeous weather we are having here in Baltimore.

Libby - Oh honey, you must be bursting at the seams to know how many heartbeats you'll see on the 23rd. I swear that these waits are worse than the original 2ww. Thankfully you've been busy and maybe thats helping time pass for you? Ugh, for pink eye, I had it 2 yrs ago and it was sooo annoying! Must be a gift from your little one, they seem to share things like that  Oh, they did raise my estrace dosage - it just didnt go up enough to make the RE happy, so he added in the additional estrace tablets also. I cant imagine how in the world I'm going to insert this & Crinone while spending 10 hours in between flights & airports?? it will be an adventure at least.. I'm just going to say that I'm happy for you and hoping for a nice easy pregnancy for you mama. I hope the 23rdcomes soon so you'll have a better idea on how many you've got in there. Patience dust coming your way..

Ronda - Thanks honey, I appreciate your support. How are your horses doing? And you must be excited for swimsuit shopping with your new hot figure!!! I wish I had your drive when it comes to excercise..

Chris - I leave tomorrow and since I'll be there for only something like 32 hrs, I dont want to carry DH's laptop with me, so I'll be dying to my ivf sisters posts by Friday. I wont know anything about the thaw until Thur. afternoon, then I get a whole 11 hrs bed rest ( haha) then back on the flight home at 6am - crazy isnt it?? I must be warped after all these attempts because it doesnt even sound crazy to me anymore, lol.

Claudia - I'm not stressing this E2 levels at all, because they keep telling me not to and as long as my lining is good, they're happy with that. Its sort of like I have it set in my head that it will either work or it wont, but I cant keep twisting my stomach in knots over it? does that make sense? Its just been too long that we've been at this. I'm actually pretty calm considering that in a few weeks we'll either have a sibling or close this chapter of our lives, you know the thought doesnt make me freak out the way it used to. I think I'm numb from it all.

Franny - i hope that you're alright honey, you know we all start getting worried about you.. Hoping that you're recovering and healing your heart.. much love to you

I'm going to miss you girls so much for two whole days i cant check in on you all :( I'll let you know how it went when I get home on friday night.. Here we go, wish i was the type that actually liked roller coasters, lol - xoxoxo

oops, sorry Libby, must have sent too many vibes your way!. Two sacs, interesting. Cannot wait until your next u/s! :D

Katie,

So you get to fly to your embies. HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to send some STRONG good thawing VIBES your way....can't hurt right?!! Can't wait to hear from you when you get back!

afm, got to talk to my trainer for an hour this AM, and I am right on track. I'm down another 7 lbs (6 more lbs and I am at my high school weight, eek!) About mid April will start the sculpting stage, just building muscle now. I am really kinda excited about bathing suit shopping, who would have ever thought I would be again! We decided to take the kids to Disney in September and I booked the flights and our disney hotel. I am so excited and I may even wear a bikini (I am sure to my girls embarrassment!) As far as my drive to exercise, I took all that mental energy I used to expend thinking about, trying to get pg and channeled it into exercise!

Hi everyone!

Well your "good thawing" vibes worked too well for me too Ronda! They all survived the thaw and looked so good that the RE told me he was uncomfortable to transfer all 3 of them. He told me that when they look that good combined with the batch's successful history that he thought the risk of multiples was too high, so he preferred that we transfer 2 and let the other one grow to blast and see if it looks good enough to vitrify. I reminded him that we want this to be our last attempt and he said that if I were his wife he would only transfer 2. I had a few weird moments this morning before my flight took off wondering if we left the "lucky one" in Nevada, but I have to go with his opinion, I mean he's the specialist, right? He seemed so optimistic about these embies that its going to take a miracle for me to not go completly crazy waiting to see if it worked. He also said that he thinks I just metabolize estrogen rapidly and that as long as my lining looked this good ( it was a 12!) that it clearly wasnt interfering. So now all I have to do is get through the next 11 days and try to not live in Crazytown. Umm, yeah, right, I know.. The worst part is that they'll take my 1st beta on the 23rd and my 2nd beta on the 27th - and I wont get results until the 27th. Ugh, so unfair, and I'll bet that my donor coordinator will avoid me those between days because she must be used to women begging her for early results.. I missed you girls and just wanted to check in quick, i'll write tom because I've been up since 3am and all day travelling wiped me out. Much love - xoxo

Franny - I'm so happy that you checked in and are ok, you are ok, right? What happened with your cysts? Did they go away on their own? Being the weekend I'll call the clinic on Monday and find out if they froze it or not, although I told the RE several times that we cant afford to do this again, and he said that I may change my mind in a year or 2. Umm, with my 42nd birthday coming up next week - I dont think so, lol. But I have to know what happened to it anyway, you know? They cant refreeze an embie that was just thawed unless it was vitrified, with this embie it was frozen the old way at day 3, but if it grows out to a blast, then they can vitrify it if it looks good enough. I guess thats because it grew for 2 days and the cell structure changes? How are you feeling honey? Have you two made any decisions as to when you try again? I've got to go since I'm getting dirty looks for not being on the couch - ugh, I'm having a real hard time being sedentary today, too many hours cooped up in coach yesterday I guess. In those tiny little seats with no leg room, oh well at least its over and now the long wait has started.. much love - xoxo

Chris - Thanks honey. I just couldnt deal with lugging a laptop through 4 flights and it turned out I was right because every flight was booked solid with not one empty seat. Ugh, I owuld have loved to post right after transfer but maybe it was a good thing I didnt because the valium knocked me for a loop this time.

Ronda - I am sooo proud of you!!! To be that close to your old high school weight is an accomplishment worthy of praise! I'm sure that your bikini shopping will be fun this year! Disney is a great vacation idea and I want to hear how you like their hotel - I hear such good things about it. They'll only get to do this once or twice while they're still young enough to see the wonder of Disney and I hope its not to hot while you're enjoying your vacation.

AFM - Chris did a good job while I was away, the house is clean the laundry all done and I was sort of surprised, although he did say that it was much harder than he expected it to be. Which probably means that he just wont admit that he's dying to go back to work and quit playing Mr Mom, lol. I'd sure like to know whats going on in there.. oh yes the 2ww, who doesnt love feeling like an obsessive crazy lady??

Katie,

That is awesome that your embies thawed so well. I can understand your thinking, maybe you left the "one" at the clinic, but don't worry, your embies are snuggling in. Will hope your little embie will be able to be re-frozen, for your third child!!!!!
We are so excited to take the girls to disney, its so true that they are only young enough to really really appreciate disney for such a short time. We are staying on disney at one of the value hotels, but will get free quick service dining as a promo package for September (saved about $300 in food costs, hurray!). Have some more "work" to do on my body, but I am so excited with the progress I've made. All that energy I used to expend thinking about having another baby sure gives me the push to work out. The baby chapter of my life is closed and I am finally at peace with that.

Franny,

How are you my dear? I think of you often and I know your time is coming. Much love!

Libby,

What a great day for a u/s.......its my birthday!!! I will tone down my vibes for you and please know that God will not give you more than you can handle. Will be on pins and needles to see if you have one bean or two!

Ok so I just called the clinic ans was told that the one we left behind did not make it to blast. I sure hope that means that one of the ones transfered did.. Its ok, we've been looking for this to be our last cycle because lets face it, this cycling has to end sometime, right? I mean its taken over our lives for almost 4 years now of active cycling. I sure hope this works, but the thought of going through this again is too much anymore. I hear you Ronda, this cycling takes ALOT of energy, and if it doesnt work I hope I do as well as you have with making peace with having an only child. I mean he was a gift from God in the first place, maybe I'm pushing for another miracle? Anyway I feel pretty good, have felt mild but constant crampiness since the FET, but I know better than to read too much into symptoms that are likely caused by progesterone in the first place, lol. So today is 4dp3dt - ugh, only 8 more days til I know if it worked or not.. Boy, that sounds like forever, lol. Much love girls - xoxo

Oh Gi - I understand entirely! I miss you mama!! I know you're busy but wish you'd be around more, you know you're special to me  Do you think you'll last that long before attempting this madness again? Its not any easier trying for a sibling. I somehow that having been blessed once would ease the pressure a little, but it seems to have made it worse instead.. I just keep telling myself that either way, this is the last 2ww I'll ever have to endure. Today is 7dp3dt, I'm trying hard to keep busy and my mind off of it, but you know how that goes, lol. I'm planning to POAS on Sat - I figure that will be 9dp3dt and I'm still not sure that its not too early, but I'll likely continue til the beta on Tues. Nervewracking I tell you! big hugs & kisses to you and your Mam too! - xoxoxo

Libby - Its almost Friday!!!! I'll be checking in all day for you mama!! I know this was a LONG wait for you...
