Babysoft- as for the bed rest after ET. My doctor says to stay in bed for 48 hours...i think I practically stayed in bed for 2 weeks..hehehehe, wanted to make sure they stuck. HA! But honestly, yes, I did stay in bed for 48 hours. I got up to get drinks and go to the bathroom. On the POASing.....so there are several of us here that are addicted to POASing. I swear I start POASing before they even do the transfer....hahahaha! Normally, I start about 3 days before my beta, but this time, I think I'm going to actually start the day of the transfer and watch it turn from positive (from the trigger) to negative and then positive again, so that I can know the exact date that it turned positive :D I think I'm going to go buy some cheapy dollar store ones and then a couple of really good ones just to verify when I get the positive near the end.

Ninde- I'm sure it will be totally fine. I bet they will up your dosages. I honestly can't remember my sizes, but the first time I stimmed for 10 days and then the second time I stimmed for 9 days. The say you can stimm for up to 14 days, so maybe yours are just growing slow and steady. Keep us posted on what they tell you on dosages.

AFM- Waiting for the meds to arrive. Just so you know, my nurse said that Alexander Twin Pharmacy was very pleasant to work with on her side. I know they were great to work with yesterday when there was a problem with my debit card transaction limit (apparently I can write a check for a million dollars, but can only spend $3,000 per day when used as a debit/credit card). They were great calling and waiting for me to call the bank and get it worked out. So far, great experience, which is good since they were the cheapest so far. I stop the pill on Friday, have my baseline on Monday and then start shooting on Tuesday(Lupron) and Wednesday for Stimms. Woo hoo! Let the insanity begin!

Laura-I've been in bed since ET yesterday and I'm sure I'll stay in bed today. I must admit I'm going crazy sitting here....lol not crazy enough to get up though  Good luck with your stims.....I must admit I didn't mind the meds too much...the follistim and menopur burned like crazy but nothing unbearable BUT this PIO is driving me nuts!! The shot going in is no problem but my rump feels like someone is using it as a punching bag  I asked my ivf nurse if I could take the vag sup instead but she said there is no way to measure the dosage in ur blood and with PIO you can (sound fishy to me)

can I make 3 posts in one day, or am I hogging the board? :D

Babysoft - no worries. My doctors say no bed rest or any other limited activity after ER. There have been cycles when I've done my regular routine and gotten BFP, and cycles when I've stayed in bed and gotten BFN.

My doctor describes ET as sticking a piece of dust into a peanut butter sandwich -- the embryo will NOT fall out.

The nurse is right about not being able to measure your progesterone level if you are on suppositories instead of PIO. My doctor does suppositories, and says that the amount of progesterone I take vaginally (400mg twice a day) is enough to kill a horse, so I shouldn't worry.

I'm on bed rest most of my pregnancies, so if there are 2 days I can avoid being in bed, I will! :D

I've gotten a BFP as early as 5dp5dt - but also as late as 8dp5dt.

Laura - aahhh... Margi may not be here anymore, but at least I have a new POAS-crazy buddy. Last fresh cycle, I did POAS to get my trigger BFP, just to make sure the tests worked. I'm a little crazy. But I've been thinking more and more about waiting until beta. We'll see how my will power is at 5dp5dt!

GreekChick - I found you on facebook! :D Congrats on being PUPO! 4 embryos? wow! When is your beta? Will you take a HPT first?

Patricia - I'm sure it's fine. Try not to worry! Yup, my hair is naturally curly. I find that people with curly hair always want straight hair (I can't imagine waking up in the morning and knowing what my hair will look like!) and people with straight hair love curls. I guess 'the grass is always greener'...

Heather posted this picture/quote on facebook and I just copied it into my signature. (There is a grammar error, but I still like the sentiment a lot)

Leora- I can't wait to start POASing. I know good and well that there is no way I will be able to wait! I think this time I'm going to be even crazier like you guys and take pictures of them. I may pee all over the place, but never took pictures of them before. This time...I think I will! And you are correct, I always had bone straight blonde hair and used to perm it to get curly and turn it different colors (red, brown, you name it I colored it). My mom on the other hand, has curly brown hair and always wanted bone straight blonde hair....go figure.

AFM- The meds came in. All packaged nicely. So,I would recommend using this pharmacy, unless you can find the meds cheaper. I would recommend calling around to get the best deal if you have to pay out of pocket for your meds.

Leora- I've taken something before, Prozac and one other, but my memory just shut down on me! I always get the anxiety attacks here and there so I only took a type of pill that would instantly get rid of it. Many times they just hit me when I'm not even worried or stressed, but I also get them just thinking about things because of being anxious.....Waiting for DH's retirement papers to be done, trying to start my medications/getting blood work done for IVF. Stuff I can't help to think about but do. Laying down helps a lot. With everything going on with DS I haven't been able to make an appointment that I can keep but hoping that all changes after tomorrow.

Those pictures are great! He's really good! That water is amazing, so beautiful! I'm trying to work on my weight still...it's a very slow process for me, that's for sure!

Babysoft- Welcome to the boards!! I am sorry for your loss(((Hugs))) Hope the 2WW doesn't make you go too crazy :) Lots of sticky vibes coming your way!!

Ninde- No problem :) Thank you for the kind thoughts. I don't like seeing him in pain or treated so horribly. If I hadn't of been by the room entrance I believe they would have held him down and pulled it anyway.

AFM- Actually more like, AFMS (As for my son) lol. We called first thing this morning. We were holding him from school to see if they could do the Oral surgery, but didn't hear from them, so feed him and I started walking him across the bridge to school. DH yelled at me to come back. They are fitting him in at 2:00! So we leave in about 15 minutes. He hardly ate any breakfast so that was good. They said 6 hrs without food so we JUST made that! Only thing that sucks is since they had to fit him in, he couldn't go as soon as he woke up, so he's been up all morning with nothing to eat or drink. Plus I'm sure he can't eat until a bit later on today too. Ugh. I'll be nervous for him the whole time and especially during the IV and recovery process. I just hope it all goes well for him.

Forgot to send the post I typed earlier.....so 4-5 hrs passed since I got to actually post it lol.

Update on DS. Took him to oral surgery and he did FANTASTIC!! He didn't even flinch when he got the IV!! He got a LITTLE emotional after getting all hooked up and stuff then we said our "goodbyes". Only took them about 10 mins to get it out and that includes getting him to sleep and everything. They said it took him some extra time to sleep but longer to wake up, although it was still about 10/12 minutes. By the time DH went to the Pharmacy and back twice (they messed up once) we were almost ready to go, just had to monitor him a few minutes longer. He wanted it all off and we knew he was good. He took his patches off in the bath and has 3 wonderful squares on his chest and stomach. He was a trooper. Just before falling to sleep he told his Doctor that he was hungry. He was a bit emotional coming out of it, but he was fine. Afterwards we went to Baskin Robbins for some ice cream. We waiting outside for DH and DS wanted out of the truck so we got out and let him get some fresh air then we opened the back of the truck and sat in the back. I was giggling a little bit because he was reading the instructions for the next few days on what needs to be and not be done. He got mad at me :) I wasn't laughing at him, just thought it was cute.

So glad that is done with!! I feel like going to see the other Dentist he saw and tell them how horrible is nerves are for things like this. He heart rate sky rocketed right before getting the IV because of his nerves! The it went completely calm once that was over and it didn't even hurt him. They were so great with him. Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts for him as well. :)

They transferred 2 blast, on day 5 I had ER on the 14th and transfer on the 19th so technically doesn't that make it a day 6 transfer? I've heard they count the day after ER because of fertilization...not sure though. They retrieved 6 egg, but only 5 fertilized, on day 3 there were 2 8 cells & 3 10 cells, but on the day of ET they said only two made it to "great" quality! We had 1 5AB and a 4BB. It's funny because after my transfer as I was laying for my 45min wait...the embryologist came out and said to the nurse...we've have some really great quality transfers today...I don't see why we shouldn't be 5 for 5! I think I'm a patient at the most optimistic clinic on earth

Leora: I have wavy hair so Im in-between and I never know when I wake how it will look!

LauraN: no change to dosage but they ere happy with estrogen. Ill bet you will be happy to be off the pill!!

Gina: do you find meditation helpful re your anxiety?

Julia: Congrats, that's great. Now go gently

Afm : dad home. No clue what was wrong!! Clinic phoned. Said my e2 levels are fine so staying same dosage and then come knob fri and not thurs for another scan. Made another Accupuncture appointment for to.morrow too!

Ninde- I try and get into a relaxation mode and work on my breathing. It does help calm it some. It will suddenly just go away after a bit but sometimes it's off and on for 2-3 days. I also have to have a fan towards me during that time also to help. We don't have AC over here in Germany so we have fans in all rooms! If we are cooking it bothers me because the smell/heat mainly start it up. Hopefully soon I get this under control now that DS is getting better I can make an appointment. He's been given quarters (no school or heavy outside activity) until Monday.

Glad your Dad is home. Can't believe they can't find anything but maybe that's a good thing and it won't happen again. Glad things are going well with your appointments!
