WeHope - Did you POAS 4 day after ET?

Babysoft-yes I did but I am a total POAS. Tge line in the HPT on day 4 wa extremely light. It drove me crazy and I would not recommend testing on day 4. It truly is way too early. Although I got a positive HPT on day 4 with l of my BFP's including this one, I wouldn't recommend it. I would wait until day 7 at least, but who am I to say, again I'm just a POAS affect so its easier for me to say then to actualy do it. When are you planning in POAS?

We-didn't you have a calculator at one point where you can put in like 3 day transfer/5 day transfer etc. ?

Julia-are you talking about what happens with 3 day transfer and 5 day transfer lke when the embryo implants? I have information on the 5 day transfer but not the 3 day. Maybe someone else in the board can help. Is this what you are looking for?

5 Day Transfer

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
1dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
3dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
5dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells & fetal cells
6dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
7dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops 
8dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops 
9dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

babysoft--i was a 3day transfer which was last wednesday,,scared to death to poas no way think il wait till least after weekend,
think ive had that much of crap luck on these ivf think thats why im not so postive about it which i need to be..

Today im gettin up and out today ladies im quite proud of myself stayed in bed since last wed ..hope your all very well today..xx

Greek - ooh you were a 3 day well I agree way too early to test. I'd give it until at least day 12! I'm thinking more and more about waiting myself...I figure the longer I stay on couch patrol the less likely I am to test. I really wish I was reading a great book or something...I think I'm going to buy some yarn and try to knit tomorrow!

We-I think I found it, it was a calculator which gave due dates based on 3 or 5 day but that information that you posted is awesome so thank you! How are you feeling?

Sorry for the lack of personals, not feeling very well. I had a pretty bad vomitting episode on Tuesday morning. I ended up with a bloody right eye that same afternoon. I guess it was from the force exerted when vomiting. The same thing happened two weeks before our cruise. In addition, I started bleeding heavily again yesterday afternoon. I probably have a new bleed from the force exerted when visiting. I'm really hoping it's from one of the existing bleeds and not a new one. My OB scheduled me for another u/s this morning at 9am.

Babysoft- I was so bored out of my mind too when I was in the 2ww... I didnt even have a lap top so needless to say I just laid there watching TV all day which gets boring after awhile since I am constantly on the Go... Cant wait to hear your Good news your 2ww will be over before you know it

Good Morning Ladies!
Sorry for the lack of personals I've been in family crazytown! lol My mom first told me on Monday that she and her sister we're coming. Then on Tuesday night we talked and she said they weren't...well this monring she called and I didn't answer the phone! I have too much going on with dh's birthday, to go back and forth with plans right now and my house still needs to be cleaned. Plus have a cake to bake, potato salad to make along with finger foods and grilling so trying to get the menu together. Thinking burgers and hotwings. Dh is picking up fresh shrimp, and oysters for all the guys (glad some of dh's friends know the spot to get good oysters because I sure don't know a think about that.) Anyway I need some good dip ideas. I might ask Belle's mom to bring over her fondue fun for us girls. Excited to meet our newest neighbors from down the street, they're about our age with no kids. Dh knows her from the college, actually he recruited them to our neighborhood and they loved the house so now we're going to have new neighbors that he already knows! I had to ask dh about her before we meet, found out she has done missionary work in Madagascar Africa and Japan. Today she supports one kid internationally from hunger, this is all dh will tell me so I'm anxious to meet and talk with her to find out more.

Good luck to Greekchick and Babysoft in the 2ww! Reading, knitting or even crocheting sounds like a great idea to pass time by even quicker! Youtube offers free tutorials for anyone interested in learning these crafts.
