Hi ladies

Just a quick post. Going g in now for transfer. O e of my 4 embryos developed an abnormality overnight and as they want to transfer 3 they said there is no advantage in waiting til tomorrow. Have had Accupuncture already this morning and will have another session immediately after transfer.

Greek - Sorry you are in pain, AF is the worse. Seems like the only time we welcome her is when we are waiting for our new cycle. Glad you are taking care of yourself!

Kynlee: I think what your re said is really good advice, some counselling with the stress you have had will help. And the Accupuncture I think helps both on quality and just preparing your body.

Christy: I was thinking of you earlier. My accupuncturiat suggested I go back to crocheting over the next two weeks. I havnt done any in 14 years! I cant even remember how to start! But I bought wool and a crochrt needle and I'll get a tutorial on you tube! How are you?

Leora: you are very quiet thses last few days. Are you ok?

Afm: so I had the transfer and thanks for all your lovely good wishes. 2 were put back because the third had deteriorated by the time we got there. It apparently was much lower quality. So two grade 2s or grade bs were put back which was same as last time. Only occurred to me that since dh couldnt produce sample and they used some of his frozen sample that we didnt get the benefit of his four months of supplements! But not to worry. The transfer was really smooth and we were able to see the cathetar in tne womb and the fluid containing both embryos and precisely where it and both were p,aced. It was lovely. Had accupuncture before and after and she said im not even allowed to go for a walk until day four! I had planned to go to a group supervision day on saturday which is about 30 miles of a drive each way but she said no! So lets hope these little guys stick! Beta in exactly 14 days

Patricia - I'm here. Just being quiet. I'm not feeling too excited about my next cycle, and we are vigorously pursuing the surrogacy thing (which is getting really complicated). I'm reading every day and cheering everyone on. Not sure why, but I haven't been feeling like writing - not here, not to my penpals, not in my journal. Just feeling quiet.

I'm keeping myself super super super super busy to try to stave off the depression from grabbing me, and forcing me back down the spiral into despair... I'm not sure it's working, but I don't have enough time to think about it!

Congrats on your transfer! Will you be POAS or not?

Hi Girls, haven't checked in in 3 weeks. There was a cyst that ahd to be drained so it through the schedule off 2 weeks. Scheduled to start injections on Sunday. Praying that the third time is a charm.

Babysoft- just knowing we put in the same amount & now your here with a good beta is exciting!! Ok so when should I POAS???

Ninde- congrats !! As I lay here on day 1!! We are just 1 day apart! Its only 9:45am & I've checked all my emails, did some morning calls, went on almost all my shopping websites to peek & now what to do!

Kynlee- I started Acupuncture about 3 weeks ago. He said I should of come 3 months before I start IVF but he said he can still get Alot done. I went every 3 days for 3 weeks so it was about 6 times. He helped the blood flow to my uterus & helped relax me! I could barly let him touch my stomach . But after the 3 weeks he said alot of my stress that I hold in my stomach was gone so the implantation process can be easy (I'm hoping)
I loved it & will continue to go after we get our BFP...

AFM- Just laying around ... Hubby has been doing the cooking & getting me everything I need... Very blessed to have him in my life!!

Christy- The Army pays for every move plus the expense for travel, even though they actually pay for the plan tickets We'll just have to pay for our dogs but it isn't too much. Hopefully they don't break too much this time!

Hey Ladies,

Ninde - Congrats on your ET...stay rested and stress free! Crossing my fingers for you BFP in 2wks.

Cyn - I'd say POAS on the 7dp5pt. I had my ET on 3/19 and got my first faint BFP on 3/23 in the morning. The faint was REALLY faint and I tested later that same night with a cheapie (+/-) and got a BFN...it's stressed me beyond believe! I'd say just wait the couple of extra days if you can because that way your mind can't play tricks on you!!

AFM, I have no idea when my u/s will be. Assuming I'll have to wait until tomorrow when they call with my 2nd beta result. Starting to get more symptoms I'm so tired it's not even funny! I'm headed out to get my prenatal pills so hopefully I'll get some energy. My boobies are extremely tender!

Good Afternoon, and happy weekend to those who are hours ahead!

HopeThis Works- Welcome back girl I will certainly be cheering you on...May the third time be your lucky charm!

Ninde- I'm glad the transfer went well and your embibabies are now home with you. Yes I agree do take it easy try to relax and let nature take it's course! Ah yes crocheting, I never learned growing up and always envyed my oldest brother who learned from our grandmother (both left-handers) and so I thought she's 92 now and I want to learn to crochet with memories of her skill. So I went online to Youtube and played around until I found some tutorials that I could keep up with. lol I was on my nineth row of the treble stitch and ran out of yarn, so make sure you are well supplied for the two week wait! Crocheting is so addictive and it's hard to stop once you get going. Great way to relax and let time slip away. I'm very interested in the acupuncture too! Having horrible varicose veins on my upper thigh and backside of my knees it could only help. My legs ache even if I am on the salesfloor for a 5 hour shift... I know it's from poor blood supply/circulation and thinking acupuncture might help with blood supply, it certainly couldn't hurt to try, NOT to mention IVF starts in 6 weeks. How often did you do acupuncture for this cycle?

Babysoft- I'm kinda surprised the RE didn't already have you on prenatals, my clinic gave us a long list of suppliments to start taking before IVF but I guess each clinic is different. You will feel tired although the entire first trimester, be sure you're also eatting healthy as possible and drinking plenty of water.

Gina- Oh goodness I hope they use plenty of bubble-wrap this time. I remember my last big move, dhfriends who helped us move helped us load up the trailor/back of truck and several boxes flew out, one that had my wedding dress, veil and slippers. So ALWAYS label everything and make sure it's packed snuggly to begin with. Oh well I have tons of pictures and besides I would of never been able to squeeze myself into that dress again anyway.

Leora- I know what you mean sometimes we all need breaks, this fertility/IVF stuff can even make me come unglued at times. We're always here when you need the support too. x I once considered surrogancy too but don't know even how to best pursue that route. That's the thing sometimes I feel I haven't given IVF a fair shot, and someday I don't want to wonder "but what if." so here I am trying once again. Stay strong and determined and you will see this miracle happen. x

AFM: Callling the clinic tomorrow since AF is here in full flow, probably go in for that scan on Monday and then get started on bcp sometime next week but would love NOT to start the pill until the next AF since my IVF doesn't happen until May. What is the normal amount of time they put you on birth control (for the clinics who use bcp) before starting IVF treatment?
