We are in the DFW area. Where are you? :)
I'm currently in Panama City, Fl but I told LauraN we might end up there if dh keeps applying for jobs in TX. We seem to move every 4 years...AL, GA, now FL :D

We do too! :) We were in Cali for 3 years, South Texas before that, Canada before that...and so on. :) We used to live in Boca Raton years ago as well. Busy busy!

Hey Can I Join?? I'm not doing a FET till July.. I know seems so far away. We have 3 blasts left 2girls and a boy. I'm going to do SFET's until we either have another baby or till they are gone. If none of them take we are done with this Infertility hell hole (not the people, just the situation) and moving on with our lives.

I haven't caught up so will have to see where everyone is at..

Leora - Girl i am sending all my good luck vibes to you. You deserve for this to work so much. I know a lot of people are amazed at what i went through, i am truly amazed at what you have gone through. It takes a tough person/couple to keep on going. FX'd that this is your last cycle.

Anna - I see your back on. What are you planning?
Chris 40- DH 41
6 IVFs Cycles - BFN's
DE Cycle 2/2011 -BFP Jacob born 11/11/11

FET 7/2012 - BFP - Kaylee due 4/3/13

Ok heres the question.. I know some are struggling to get their first child. would you rather have me not show my signature. I know on some boards people get offended when 2nd, 3rd timers come around and show off their kids. I can either edit it or not show it. Whatever everyone is comfortable with.

Annashope, congrats. That's a great beta.

To have fun, I don't think it is fair for you to need to hide anything in you signature.

Christy, I'm jealous of you and your dh. Mine isn't anything like that. Min fact he is mad at me right now. Apparently I didn't do enough around the house yesterday. So instead of a happy note, I got a text message that said u depress me. Nice, huh.

Needless to say I am not in a good mood.

Evening ladies

Maria: how are you?

Leora - was tempted to call you junkie  is menopur two injection s a day?

Julia: its great you have so e peace of mind, you deserve it.

Hopethisworks: really sorry to hear about your cat accident. How are you feeling now?

Anna'shope: congratulations!! You must be thrilled about your u/s?

Christy: if you move will ypu be ok for a job?

Mellow: nice to meet you :-)

Tohavefun08: nice to meet you too :D forgive my silly question but how do you know the gender of the embryos? Im happy to see a photo of your little boy and it was very considerate of you to ask

Kynlee: I'll be thinking of you next thurs

LauraN: how are you doing?

Cyn: are you ok?

Nicole: ouch - was your dh in a particularly bad mood himself? Cant blame you for being less than impressed with his text.

Afm: went to appointment and it was fine. Long story sideways, she says we can do another ivf but be realistic, with my age, its about a 25% shot. Re progestero e, you girls will probably not agree with this and im not sure where I stand. She brought me in studies (im not joking) showing that clinics in the US are now agreeing firstly that pio injections arnt more effective than pessaries/vaginal delivery, secondly that the research is now suggesting that progesterone for those who have normal levels dont tend to need more than in first two weeks in terms of preventing miscarriag. However given all of that she says if i want it if I get a bfp she will prescribe it

She spent an hour with us comparing our two cycle data and our embryoswernt quite as good this time. She is suggesting upping the drugs level to get more eggs and said she was disappointed my egg level halved from 10 to 5 and is suggestions g menopur now rather than puregon. So it was all helpful and she said to leave it no longer than three calender months

Sunshine - sending lots of wishes to you and your DH on his job hunt... Things happen for a reason and maybe you will move, find an amazing new clinic and get your baby (ies) !!

Ninde- I'm good.. Just resting up and enjoying my time with no shots and meds! Also waiting for me to Ovulate so we can do that Biopsy sometime next week!

Leora- Thanks for the info! Yes 6 weeks will come by quick!!

Anneshope - Yeah... Big Congrats!!

Kynlee - Is the Lining Biopsy the same or close to the same as what I am doing (Beta-3 integrin Test) At times I think find something so we can fix it but then I don't want another issue to have to deal with.. you know?? Because If you lack this protein thing they said they can give you Lupron for a couple of months and most people get pregnant right away.. I just feel like I need to know why they are sticking! Good Luck on your testing!!

AFM- Testing tonight to see if I am Ovulating... Day 1 of 7ish? (it should be this week since I started on April 6th)
Good Luck to ALL!

Hey all,

So, yes, I'm back.

I did a Beta Integrin testing and then had to do Lupron Depot for two months. I had another HSS and have been on Lupron for a week. Just started Estrace and Aspirin last night. The Lupron headaches have been UNBEARABLE. If all goes well, I'm looking at an FET the first week of May. Here we go again... This will be our first real FET though, so I'm hoping this will do it. 6th time's a charm, right?

Oh wow lots of familar faces on board here! Lauren and "To-Have-Fun" Welcome back! This thread keeps growing...Anyone interested in helping Maria out with "the list"? I would but tend to get too obsessed and right now isn't a good time to get too obsessed. We have so much going on even without IVF, dh's search for a new job and our possible chance of moving within the year. I seriously think IF that happens we are hiring movers, (oh course Gina I still remember what you went through.) So for now I'm hanging in there and keeping the faith alive because I know we have no other choice.

Ninde, I wish we could find research studies out there to prove what really works, progesterone supposies seems so important although it's all about trial and error and your doctor should let you try anything we believe to help support the pg better. Even sometimes doing everything we personally can will give us peace of mind. Ok you asked about my job if we move, and yes there are over 1300 Chico boutique stores so I shouldn't have any problem transfering if I had to. I kind of miss the days of part-time but maybe IF we moved we would be living closer to a clinic and maybe dh could find a job working for IVF crew so I could get fertility benefits. :P yes let me dream on!

Kynlee, I'll say prayers that your testing goes well. Be sure to drink plenty of water so the b/w not torturing. How is Bella?

Nicole, Are we sure your dh is not shooting up some hormones? lol but he needs to either lighten up or help out more.

AFM: Had a fun day with the girls at work, one customer purchased 1,100. in clothes, and another 632--now my husband would shot me if I ever did that! But the highlight of my day was when my boss gave away her SeaBreeze Jazz Festival tickets to me, soooo looking forward to Thursday night with dh sipping on some wine/sampling cruisine and melting away to some fabulous jazz. Did I mention I still don't want to move???

Patricia - usually I have about 2 weeks between starting stims and ER (then another 5 days until ET) - so hopefully the end of April/beginning of May! Do you think you'll do another cycle? It's so hard to quit when there aren't many other options...

Julia - is this your first pregnancy? Isn't it amazing how much you love the tiny little heartbeat in there?

HopeThisWorksM - wow, kindergarten. Kudos to you. I don't have the temperment to be around kids that age all day, especially when they're not MINE! :D I was in a fender bender just after my BFP, everything was fine (granted, I miscarried a few weeks later, but I doubt that was related. We saw a healthy baby/heartbeat at 6 weeks - then at 8 weeks it had stopped and I had a D&C at 10 weeks).

Anna - I really feel like the treatments are an addiction - but I don't know how to stop. I keep thinking "we'll go through all of this, have a baby -- and then do it AGAIN to have a sibling?!?!" - somehow I think we'll probably have an 'only', but then again, I hear from so many people that the rewards of having a child are worth all the heartache (even people who have been through stuff like I have). So we'll see. But I hate that the decision to have a sibling will bring up all this sh*t again.

Christy - I've done some pretty crazy injection places too (parking lot in IKEA for triggering last year!). Part of the craziness, huh? Your husband sounds like such a great guy. I heard a quote that I liked -- "Even if we never have children, at least I have you", which I told my husband. (He responded, "no. we WILL have children" but he appreciated the sentiment)

Mellow/Marsha - can't you have the embryos moved? Or do the monitoring in Texas and fly to Cali for the transfer (think of it as a mini-vacation)? Marlo is SOOOOOO cute! :D

Chris - welcome! I'm fine with you leaving your info about Jake on your signature -- reminds us all that there can be great success after all the difficulty. I can't believe you actually have an 11/11/11 baby -- when I found out I was pregnant last year, and I was due Nov 8, I really hoped for an 11/11/11 baby (until we found out it was twins and I would go past mid-Oct - oh well!) Does the sex of the embryos affect which one you'll transfer first? I think it's weird and cool to know the sex before the transfer --- it's great if you get pregnant, because you know from day 1 what sex the baby is -- but if it's BFN, it's so much worse to know it's specifically a son/daughter that didn't happen.

Kynlee - be warned - I had an endo biopsy and it HURT. Much worse than anything else I've done for treatments.

Nicole - sorry to hear you are fighting with DH. I haven't written about that on here, but DH and I were fighting pretty bad over the weekend -- the word "divorce" got thrown around a lot. We met our therapist and got back on track. Things aren't GOOD but we know that we want to be together, and that being together means work/compromise - and we promised to put in the effort for "us". I'm sorry hon. Have you guys tried therapy?

Cyn - good luck ovulating! Are y'all 'unexplained infertility'? Maybe you can get a miracle while waiting to cycle, like Anna.

Lauren - FETs are much easier, and some people have better success with them (like Lydia). Good luck!

AFM - (I don't mind taking over as "list mistress" - I've done it before - anyone else want to before I start doing it?)

I made a BIG FAT ROOKIE mistake today! Ugh.

When mixing Menopur (which comes as seperate powder and liquid vials) you have 2 needles -- a big fat one for mixing the drugs and a skinny one for injecting. You ALWAYS switch before injecting, because putting the needle in the liquid, then 2 powder vials dulls the needle and makes it harder to inject.

Today - when I packed my stuff - I packed 2 big needles instead of 1 big and 1 little. So I had to inject with a BIG SCARY FAT needle. OUCH! I will definitely make sure to pack a small needle tomorrow!

We are going camping this weekend - speaking of 'fun' places to inject --- how about the woods? Anyone taken injections in the woods yet? :D

D had his MRI this morning (background - his prolactin is elevated and has been for a few years - so they are checking his head for a benign tumor called a 'prolactinoma'. If it's there, they want to catch it while it's small, before it causes problems like headaches/vision disturbances/etc). When I scheduled the appt, they asked if he had a pacemaker/pins/screws/plates/piercings because you can't put those in an MRI machine. I said no. I totally forgot he has BRACES! Last night, he turned to me and said "won't the braces be an issue for the MRI?" He went this morning, and they said it wasn't a problem. PHEW! Now we wait a few weeks for the radiologist and endocrinologist to look at the results.

I also changed some pictures, to give the list a "Leora-flair" :D
