3rd Trimester

Post by helenlouise »

Hello all,

Thought I'd start this thread for my last few days/weeks of pregnancy. 36 weeks tomorrow! So pleased to have made it this far :D .I really can't beleive how quickly its gone, so please girls try and savour the time before hanging out the washing becomes too much! I'm enjoying keeping my feet up and drinking my milk and watching my babies grow inside me every day. They are very active. I have had no twinges whatsoever, just the usual aches and pains at the end of the day and very creaky bones.

Tracey- what have they said to you about how far they are prepared to let you go before an induction? I have a scan on wed when I think the consultant will decide whether to let me carry on and hopefully for nature to take its course.

Still strange to think that I have 2 babies inside me, and I'm going to have to give birth to them very soon  scary thoughts like that are keeping me awake now.

Lots of luck to everyone.

Hi there

I finally finished work last Thursday and looking forward to having some me time and getting the last bits ready for babies arrival.

I am 34 weeks now and grateful for every day that this pregnancy lasts, we are still in awe of it as thought we'd never get this far. We have our first labour workshop on Tuesday night and then another one on Saturday. I've started having strange dreams now and not always good ones but that's supposed to be normal.

I started taking raspberry leaf capsules yesterday and will be doing the massaging the perenium with almond oil - I will try anything that makes labour easier lol.

Wishing you all the best.

Hello only me

What a good idea to set up this thread - I am 36.2 yikes and now in some considerable discomfort at night in particular. They are rather large and I have luckily been fine - no stretch marks and just a huge bump but no weight on legs etc. Still walking the dog for an hour but not easy.......
Helen they said they would leave me until 38 wks and then bring me in and have a look and probably induce but just see - they then added they don't expect to see me but me being me will no doubt prove them wrong.
The head on twin one (Emily) is down so we will see........... Not having a c section unless all goes pete tong.
Lisa not long for you now either. Woppa thanks for the email and the lovely photos from your DH
Love

Glad to see you are still here Tracey!
I thought i'd got away with no stretch marks, but they started a few weeks ago and grow every day. My stomach is often so hard it feels like 2 solid balls in there. My knees feel like they are giving up now and ache a lot with all that extra weight. But mostly i still feel really good for someone days/weeks away from having 2 babies.

love, helen :D
