LauraN: oh im so so sorry. You must be gutted. I dont know what to say, I really thought this would be a positive. Have you some time off? Im really sorry.

Christy: thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately its not the meds, dh certainly is horribly affectedby the ms, errectile function is fairly non existant, that's one of the major effects for him. But he wont even hug me!! We have tried therapy and I was told that I couldnt expect him to want to make love!! Seriously?! Sex is a lot more than penetration (apologies if tmi). But perhaps someone with ms experience would be better. Oh I hope your dh doesnt commute!!! Kenny g is great! Who else do you like?

Kala: nice to see you again gosh you have had a rough time with the mortgage. I really hope this cycle goes well for you.

Gina: have you had your egg reserve/amh checked?

Afm: had my second therapy session tonight. Its amazing what comes out of all the tears. I havnt let go of my first baby, in actually havnt. So i have some work to do, gentle soul work.

Afm- I feel the same really, much less blood which is good. I can't wait until Monday, however i'm anxious to make sure everythings still ok in there. I'm convinced at times that its not. Ugh the stress is insane. I made crab Alfredo for dinner. My first attempt at homemade Alfredo! Turned out very well. I was pleased. Going to olive garden for dinner tomorrow might with some friends, excited about dinner with them. Hope everyone is doing ok.

Leora ouch the cysthoscopy sounds painful. I was a medical assistant for a urologist in my younger years and we did lots of those....always looks painful.

Gina I think if your follies are empty then your e2 levels are usually off...I don't know though. I remember I had the same fears but it ended up being ok. Good luck

Julia I am the same way...constantly over-analizing how I am feeling. I am a bit nauseous bit not much just super tired. Also I think my RE is not counting my dates right. They are counting from my last period and I never ovulate on day 14 so I think I am 5wks 4 days but RE has me 5 days more at 6wks 2...Ugh I worry that Fri is too early for a heartbeat...you are right this is so nervewrecking

sorry I know I am missing many of you but I am so tired lately and I am performing Beethoven's 9th with my Choir and orchestra this weekend so the rehearsals have been running late and looong.

AFM no bleeding praise God but terrified for Friday. I really want to see the heartbeat but am so nervous that something has gone wrong.

Leora – I can’t imagine using the big needle to inject! You are brave. I would have gone back home to get it.

Ninde – Sorry to hear about your issues. Could it be due to a combination of things? I have to admit I haven’t been exactly into it since we started the IVF process. I realize there’s MS but maybe there are other things as well. Not even hugging is sad . I am sure it is NOT you.

Sunshine – What is the IVF Attain Program and why can’t you do it in other states?

AFM – I’ve been testing positive since last Saturday (7dp5dt = 12dpo). My beta this morning was 520! I had a single embryo transfer so we shall see I totally felt implantation. No blood or any other symptoms so far except shortness of breath. I am supposed to be 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant today. I am happy, of course, but so cautious. Do you ever stop worrying?

I have another blood test on Friday and I was told my 1st ultrasound will be in 2 weeks. What can I expect to see? What do they look for?

Congrats! You should be able to see the sac, fetal pole, and hopefully a heartbeat at 6 weeks 2 days which is what you would be in 2 weeks.

Patricia- My dh has ED issues too. It's better now but we still don't do anything. It sucks. I remember really struggling in the beginning of our relationship because I missed it. Now it's been so long that I think it would be awkward. We do hug and have some other ways we handle things but it is very one sided. I often feel ignored. However, due to my endometriosis and MS I really don't feel into it now anyway. So it isn't so bad. I go to bed approx 4 hours before him because our schedules are off.

I do think it is quite strange that he won't have contact with you at all. Aside from the physical contact, do you have any intimate contact? Does he say nice things to you, make you feel special in any way? The depression and feelings of inadequacy in MS are significant. What was he like when you first married? DId he know of the MS then? I'm sorry to pry. PM me if you want to respond privately or ignore me if you don't want to get to personal. I know that the National MS Society here in the states spend a lot of time on relationship issues. They run many programs for couples and in fact the last event I went to had a session on sex and intimacy. We didn't go to that one though so I can't share. You might google NMSS and see what information you can get that may help.

I can say that MS really plays games with a person. The depression can be a clinical symptom along with being a result of dealing with it. The fatigue, strange sensations, depression, etc can be very negative. Men certainly deal with it in different ways. There are many online communities such as MSworld that have message boards that are specifically for men. Women have posted in there to ask about these kind of issues to get insight from the men. It may be worth a try.

Leora I am on pins and needles waiting for your next E2 result. I hope it goes up. I don't want to see this cycle get canceled but also don't want you to have a bad cycle.

AFM Work has been super busy. I have had many meetings, etc. It's been nutty. Working in special education in the public schools is brutal. Parents are lawsuit happy these days. We are getting hit hard with complaints, some warranted, some not. The problem is that the state keeps adding to our responsibilities, workload, caseload counts, and keeps cutting budgets. It sucks.

My workouts are good. It's been hard to get my diet under control since going home to see the family. Today was finally better. I feel like I'm back on track now.

I got in an accident on my way home from work today but thankfully there were no injuries and no damage to my car. Traffic stopped quickly. I was able to stop and the lady behind me was able to stop but the man behind her was not. He hit her which pushed her into me. His car was quite damaged and hers was slightly damaged. I got off scott free.

CRAP! After always telling people how good I am at copying what I wrote before hitting submit so the 'gremlins' don't eat my post, I went to hit ctrl+C and hit something else (don't even know what!) but everything got lost! Here we go again!

Patricia - I've been having some urinary symptoms (a constant urge to urinate that comes and goes) that we thought was recurrent UTIs, but my GP is concerned because most of my urine cultures are sterile. So he sent me to a urologist, who thinks this is a much bigger deal that I thought it would be. I've already done a million blood/urine tests, then this cystoscopy - then I have a bladder/kidney u/s in a few weeks and go back to see what she says.

Christy - YAY! Do you know what the plan is? When do you start? (do you start with BCP? Lupron? or just stims?)

Julia - yup - it's just a long scary wait until that baby is in your arms. You get used to the waiting and start to ignore it. Good luck!

Anna - hopefully you'l see a heartbeat tomorrow! Good luck and I'm stalking for results, so update us as soon as you are done!

GlobeTrotter - YAYAY! That is such great news! Congrats! Add a pregnancy ticker!

Nicole - I'm so impressed with the weight loss - I've been trying, but it's so hard. I'm down 1.5 kg. We have 2 BBQs today, and it's going to be hard to eat what I'm supposed to eat, and not eat what I shouldn't.

I am sorry if I missed anyone. Please know that you are all always in my thoughts snd prayers.

AFM-I go for my every two week u/s today. I really like being able to see the girls every two weeks. It's comforting to see them since I don't really feel them moving that much. At least I don't really recognize it. I'm sure that will change soon. I had my repeat anatomy scan last week and everything came back normal, thank God. The blood work fir spina bifeda also came back negative. I haven't had any bleeding or spotting in over three weeks so I'm really happy about that. O can't yell you how tired I was of seeing blood everytime I went yo yhr bathroom, 16 weeks of bleeding is just too long. I have an appt with a pediatric cardiologist the first week of May. My OB is very causious and send all of his twin pregnant moms to have a fetal echocardiogram. He is a really great doc... My migraine are a bit better but I still get a really bad migraine at least once per week. Scheduled yo follow up with the neorologist abd ENT next week. Sending all of you my love and strength throughout thus journey.

Wahoooo! I love waking up to some good news on the board!

Globetroter- Honestly I was thinking about you while I was checking out the garden with dh last night. I don't know why but your name came to my mind, maybe it was because we have been kind of quiet on here, but now I know why. I was having good vibes... I am so happy that you got a BFP! As for IVF Attain, it's a share risk program where we get 6 tries (3 natural, 3 FEET) where if I don't bring home a baby we get 70 percent of our money back. Don't know what states offer it, but it's a contract we have to have done by 38th birthday, given me 2 yrs...My situation is I don't know where dh's job will be with him applying for professor jobs all over the U.S. Yesterday he applied for one in Arkansas..So far, it's AL, Maryland, Ohio, Kentucky, Wisconsin and three colleges in Texas. I would have to stay here and finish the program while he flew in to drop off a supply. lol

Hope, That stick must of lite up the entire bathroom and maybe the entire house. I know nobody could sleep after that excitement, I am so hopeful this is your cycle. I have everything crossed for you with my prayers.

Kynlee- I'll say a prayer that everything goes well with the uterine biopsy and you remain pain-free. I'll be praying for you.

Maria- THANK YOU for updating us over here, we certainly have missed you. I'm glad the girls are doing well. Sounds like you are progressing along with less drama oh but you wait till they get into their teens. It's great that you get to see them every 2 weeks, I'm wishing you the best!

Leora, lol I see the gremlins are after you now. What did I tell you bout feeding them after midnight? lol but seriously I throw a fit when i have a long thoughtful post typed and bam just like that everything vanishes away in cyperspace. Grrrrr you're right that coworker's story has gotten so bad. When I asked if she's been to the doctor yet, she said no did 6 hpt and they all came back positive. I told her she still needs to go and take her prenatals so everything remains healthy. She told me once she gets her birth certificate she can get her name changed back from her first marriage...Then she's applying for medicad (who cares if I misspelled medicad) and then she will make a visit to the doctor. Grrrr I shouldn't let her mishap eat me up alive but I need to find an outlet so I don't bring myself into misery. Seriously she cannot even afford prenatals! I'm so glad she is off today, and I'm off tomorrow so I don't do something/ say something I later regret.
She told me the other night while we were working together she has the names selected, a notebook with the nursery ideas and how she's comp shopped...and already has the registry done. No I didn't ask her where she's registerred I could care less and if anyone sends me an invitation I will burn it. Seriously I wouldn't be surprised if she gets so much morning sickness she's unable to work with absolutely eatting nothing but Little Caesar's pizza (it where her boyfriend works). She's told me how she's been craving salads anything with vegetables. Obviously it's her body telling her she's has malnutrition. My boss really needs to hire more people, she told me she knows we are majorly understaffed. On a good note, the district manager will be coming in 2 weeks to interview me for promotion.
