Hey girls this board really moves!!

Hope your pregnancy is counted from your last mest perd...even though in IVF that is not always accurate. So 4 weeks after retrieval is actually 6 weeks pregnant...yea...weird but by 6 weeks you will most likely see a heartbeat. Here is a website that helped me make sense of ultrasounds

Leora ugh it is literally never easy girl...so sorry about the uncooperative follies but hopefully by tomorrow they will have grown quite a bit. I am pretty morning sick but appreciate it too in some ways. I am very tired and Paul is a bit relentless in his attention needs right now so absolutely no way to relax but I am not complaining. I am nervous for EVERY ultrasound because I know how quickly things can go wrong but praying for the best. Tomorrow is my next scan so wish me luck I will be 6wks 6 days...I will keep you in my prayers

Blue-Yes I must say fatigue is my biggest complaint too & It is so hard to describe to people how you feel even family bc they are like you look healthy. UGH We found yesterday my husband nephew neurologist thinks he may have MS he is only 13. He goes for an MRI soon. You ask about supplements I did take DHEA which seem to help and DH has no known issue but our doc did put him on clomid just to boost his #s even though the # is not low.

Lauren319- How did the transfer go? How many? I started the PIO shots yesterday what fun

Anton- Thank you for the lovely words my friend. I am taking plaquneil for the lupus which is suppose to be safe for me & the baby. That is awesome you are writing a book & I am sure you will get your happy ending to write and it will beautiful.

Julie73- I see on your graduated to the OBGYN that is great. I think I miss that somewhere along the way but Congrats!!

Leoria- The donor had 20 eggs we got half. I don't know why they didn't fertilized better. Hell I have had 7 all on my own before but they were never good quality and only made it to day 3. I hoping we get better quality from her and me too this time. Yes she is doing IVF for her too so she got 10 eggs too. We are going to try a day 4 or day 5 transfer this time. We have never made it that far & I am nervous. I sure hope your other follicles catch up. Mine usually do & when I was slow at stimming. try not to stress too much it will all work out.

AFM: I am just waiting for my phone call. I hate waiting for updates bc they always wait until late afternoon to call. I guess I will go grocery shopping to occupy my time. I will post when they call. Hope everyone is having a great day.

Ninde- Dont listen to anyone that is talking negative... Friends should not say hurtful things especially going through what we are... God makes miracles everyday its all in his time and someday hopefully soon we will both be preggers Stay hopeful dont let her get to you, its easy for her too say since she didnt have to got hrough what you are and she is pregnant.. Sometimes people say things and then realize later they put htere foot in there mouth hopefully she realizes that and apologies... ( sending you a hug)

Blueeye- I think you posted to me meaning to post to Cyn on the acupuncture and what she is going through,.. I havent looked into it yet but have heard wonderful things about acupuncture just hoping its not outrageously priced... Were you nervous the 1st time you went to do it?

Leora- So sorry this cycle isnt going as plan but stay positive those follies that are growing are mighty strong and could be your dream come true (sending you hugs from RI, I know how stressful this whole journey is) Wont stop praying for your Follies to grow Huge over night

Leorira, Kynlee is right. We almost aborted our last cycle as we weren't thrilled how it was going. If you go back a few dozen pages you can see my post where I actually said we were not happy and the doctor was offering to not hit our insurance if nothing made it to transfer. Sometimes these things have a way of working out

Well we down to 6 now. they said one was struggling & probably not going to make so the number is 6. The one that is not going to make it is mine. So we are down to 2 of mine & still 4 donor. The nurse my 2 were doing good so far and her 4 were okay. They don't know how the donor 4 are going to do. It can go either way the nurse did say that with donor eggs that is not usually for them to bounce back after day 2. It looks like transfer will be this weekend and we will know tomorrow which day and how many. I feeling mixed emotions right now. I am happy that my 2 are doing good but we know they go down hill & I thought hers would be our back up but right now it may not work out that way.

Leora, sometimes the worst stimming produces the best results! Here is hoping this is one of those times.
What I don't understand is why did the doc have you on menopur alone? I've never seen this before. Usually it's menopur plus follistim or gonal f. To get the right balance of LH and FSH. Just something for next time. But you won't need a next time - this is it!

Christy - speaking of ads - I guess it's because so many of my friends have babies, but Facebook is ALWAYS giving me ads about maternity or baby things. UGH. Everytime I get one, I click the "x" and they ask why you don't want to see this ad. I keep writing that I'm infertile and buried my babies - but I keep getting the stupid diaper ads. Ugh.
Have fun at the cookout. We are planning our next camping trip. Hurray for summer!

HopeThisWorks - at your ER, you are 2 weeks pregnant. Look at the calendar, and go back 2 weeks ER date - that'll be your LMP. (Your due date will be the same day of the week.) At 6 weeks you should see a heartbeat, but you might not. Good luck!
Thanks for the encouragement. I know it only takes 1 good one, but sometimes it's sooooo stressful when things aren't going right!

Anna - one of the reasons I keep thinking that we'll end up with only one kid is that a pregnancy is super super rough on me. Don't know if you remember, but I've had HG in every pregnancy and throw up constantly. Like 20 times a day and can't keep food or water down and need IV fluids. Add that to the bed rest I'll need, and I think getting pregnant with a sibling would just make me miss out on my kid's life. We talk about having a second through a surrogate (which is extrememly complicated for many many reasons) or adoption/foster-to-adopt - but it's all so complicated and risky. UGH.

Amanda - good luck today! We always lost an embryo or two between fertilization and day3. You'll be fine - and hopefully have some frosties!

Kynlee - accupuncture is ridiculously expensive. I don't really understand why!

Lydia - my first cycle was only Puregon (Follistim). My second cycle was Puregon + Menopur (not sure why I was switched, but it worked fine). My third cycle was just Menopur (like this one). At my next WTF appt, I'll ask about going back to Puregon or adding it to the Menopur again. Besides, the Puregon pen is SOOOOO much easier than mixing the Menopur!

AFM - UGH. F*CK.

The big ones all grew - I have 3 'ripe' ones - but the rest really didn't. I have about a dozen or more follicles at 10-12mm... so no real growth since last WEEK.

Definitely no ER on Sunday or Monday --- I continue 3 Menopur and 1 ganirelix and go back for another f*cking SnS on Sunday.

UGH.

And - on top of the bad news - today (May 4th) is one of my due dates -- my first twins were due May 4th 2010. I can't believe that was 2 years ago. I know that twins would have been born in April at the latest, but it's still rough.

DH says he prefers to remember the days we lost them, and not the due dates, but I remember each one (May 4, April 18, Nov 8 and Aug 3).

We are away for the weekend (seems like we do that a lot, no? we are busy the next 6 or so weekends, either away or having guests come to us!) so I'll check in again on Sunday - and let you know how Sunday's exam goes.

Well, last night I felt pretty achy and almost like I ahd a fever (but I had no temperature - 98.7). I was a little worried that something was wrong but I guess this could be a pregnancy symptom? I also passed out Wednesday night and took my lovenox shot and progesterone suppository 3 hours later than normal. You think that can do any harm? Personally I am thinking all is ok but just looking for any other opinions. US is Thursday 5/10

Hope what you are describing is deff pregnancy symptoms. For me pregnancy at least in the first trimester feels like having a cold with a touch of stomach flu. Aches and pains, fatigue, headache, nausea, hot/cold and weepy. Hang in there. As for being 3 hours late on meds I am sure it is fine.. I have been late with crinone and my RE said it is fine...not sure about the lovenex though

Leora I am so mad for you Hang in there I pray Sunday shows much improvement and you have ER soon.

Lauren 319 I am sure by now you are PUPO so congrats and I wish you lots and lots of baby dust. Do you know the gender of the baby you transferred ( hope you don't mind me asking)

AFM Ultrasound went really well today (Praise God The baby is doing great HB 133 and the SCH bleed is healed Also my sister-in-law is in labor so I will have a little nephew any minute now

I got some bad/good news! 
Bad is from my Beta 3 integrins Biopsy the test came back negative (supposed to be positive that I have those protein levels to help implant that embryo) but since mine was negative a week after ovulation I might be having a slow or late implantation cycle. 
Good news is it's a start on finding out why nothing has implanted.(3 IVF's with perfect embryos) Need to call him when I start my period (any day now) & I might have to do another biopsy or just a scan so we might have to delay this cycle another month. I'm ok with that. I rather they implant when my body is fully ready they trying to rush my 6 really good Frozen Babies in & it doesn't work again. My doctor didn't sound too worried & has some plans but it will all mostly be determined when I start AF!! Tomorrow is my 28th day cycle so hoping it comes in on time or close to it!

I would love to hear if anyone else had this test & the outcome!
