Post by Chocoberry »

I am planning for a IVF next month.. Pls suggest me how to prepare myself?
What to eat right, how to increase the chances of getting pregnant before/after IVF process? I have PCOS. Thanks.

Hello!
Can I ask you when exactly do you have IVF? I have mine in a month and a half, so I plan not to eat fried food, no fast food, more fresh vegetables, fruits and fresh juice (not in a pack, but fresh pressed), drink more water - 1,5 litters a day (if your kidneys are fine), more fresh air, to walk 1 hour a day may be more... Good sleep!! very important!!!! 8-9 hours!
Do you have donation? or on your own?

Make sure you fully understand the process and all it entails. IVF is very time consuming and may drain you physically and emotionally. Plan for extra time to do things, extra time for rest (this is a big one), and to take it easy on yourself. Make good choices for nutrition based on what you know for PCOS. You will be fine! Remember the process is not 100% but keeping a positive attitude is critical!

First and important thing is dont stress yourself. Do some meditation to keep you calm. Take nutritious food and avoid the use of alcohol and caffeine. Insist on your partner to avoid smoking and alcohol. Prepare yourself for the treatment. Prepare a list of questions to ask to the doctors.
