Amanda- Looking Soooo Good!!!! I really hope THIS is your time, you more then deserve it!

Ninde- Thank you, and how did you survive that marathon?

Annashope- your words of encouragement remind me that it's not over, I need to focus on the outcome bringing us a baby one way or another. I bet you are a great mommy to Paul. These kids will be more loved for everything we gave to bring them into this world.

Leora- What you posted on facebook couldn't of been timed more perfectly, I loved it!

Gina- We need plane tickets and get you packed! What better way to spend Thanksgiving this year!!!

AFM: I'm much too tired to even start rambling, but have the next two days off so it will be my time to do whatever. Nice!

To all the wonderful women in this group, I wish you love and peace on this day. I found this poem I liked so I will share it.
This is for all of us with angel babies.

What Makes A Mother

I thought of you and closed my eyes
And prayed to God today,
I asked, "What makes a Mother?"
And I know I heard him say:
A Mother has a baby,
This we know is true
But, God, can you be a mother
When your baby's not with you?

Yes, you can, he replied
With confidence in his voice,
I give many women babies,
When they leave it is not their choice.
Some I send for a lifetime,
And others for the day,
And some I send to feel your womb,
But there's no need to stay.

I just don't understand this God,
I want my baby here.

He took a breath,
and cleared his throat,
And then I saw a tear.
I wish I could show you,
What your child is doing Here...

If you could see your child smile
With other children and say,
"We go to earth to learn our lessons
of love and life and fear,
but My mommy loved me so much
I got to come straight here!"
I feel so lucky to have a Mom who had so much love for me,
I learned my lessons very quickly,
My Mommy set me free.
I miss my Mommy oh so much
But I visit her each day.
When she goes to sleep,
On her pillow is where I lay.
I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek,
And whisper in her ear,
"Mommy, Please don't be sad today,
I'm your baby and I am here"

So you see my dear sweet one,
Your children are okay.
Your babies are here in My home,
And this is where they'll stay.
They'll wait for you with Me,
Until your lessons there are through,
And on the day that you come home,
they'll be at the gates waiting for you

So now you see
What makes a Mother,
It's the feeling in your heart,
It's the love you had so much of
Right from the very start.

HopeThisWorksM - YAY! I'm so excited for you! When do you have your next scan? When is your due date? Why don't you add a pregnancy ticker, so we can count days with you?

Kynlee - weird that your clinic would now be switching from suppistories to shots. I thought that research was showing no advantage to the shots - and they hurt and are much more complicated for patients than the suppositories. But whatever brings us a baby, right? :D Kudos for organizing baby stuff for someone else - that's hard to do when you are struggling for your own. A "friend" of mine bitches about how she can't buy everything she wants for her baby --- well, I can afford anything for a baby, but can't have one - so there are two sides to everything.

Patricia - that walk sounds amazing, I hope it was. And I hope you are feeling better! Seems like a long time to be sick - have you seen a doctor? Maybe it's strep throat or something.

Nicole - I hate hate hate when I'm already to close up at work at 4:55pm, but then get a phone call or email that takes 15 min to finish up!

Cyn - so frustrating to be delayed, even for just a week. Your results are frustrating. I hope your doctor comes up with a good idea to put you on track!

Anna - weird that they are still running betas. I thought that after 5.5 weeks - an u/s tells a LOT more than a beta - which can start to level out. But great that things are going so great!

Lauren - beta on Mother's Day - I hope it's a good one! I'll be stalking all day!

Christy - congrats on the raise, but that does sound a little weird. I've heard that a lot of women like us avoid church on Mother's Day because it's too emotional. Big hugs - I'm thinking of you and your angel today. Enjoy your 2 days off and just relax (or try to!)

Amanda - YAYAYAAYAYAYAY! I think it's definitely late enough from your trigger. Thanks for the picture! I totally see it ! I need to live vicariously through your POAS, since I've sworn I won't! :D When is your beta? How many days past transfer are you?

Gina - I love countdowns! I have a countdown app on my phone -- 79 days until my birthday and 114 days until our 7th anniversary! :D

AFM - starting to freak out. Only 3dp2dt - but already freaking out. Make me stick to my promise not to POAS until Monday May 21 (8 days!), okay? The BFNs on the HPTs while stil waiting for beta drive me crazier than not knowing.

Right after my transfer on Thursday, I went to IKEA (I'm obsessed with their meatballs - which is a new thing for me, since they aren't kosher in the USA, so I've only been able to eat them since I moved here!) for lunch - and browsed the baby department. I love love love their baby stuff. We actually bought 2 cute blue cribs 3 days before the boys were born (they were on sale, otherwise I would have waited to buy such a big item, but I was 23.5 weeks and feeling hopeful) (we returned them). Anyway - They had really cute, really soft flannel blankets (like receiving blankets, and I know those things are so useful and you never have enough) 3 for $10 --- so I bought them. Adding to my stockpile of baby stuff (which is small, but meaningful to me).

Then on Friday, we were walking around, doing some browsing and shopping in the center of town, and David found a stuffed monkey that he loved - so we bought it. He even talked about how the hands and feet 'velcro' together, which is great for hanging on a stroller.

Then, last night I had a dream that I gave birth to a beautiful little girl (in the same hospital where the boys were born). We named her Adina (which means 'delicate') and she was soooo gorgeous. It killed me to wake up and it wasn't real.

I'm so desperate for this to work....

Lauren319- I am about to go to sleep, but I am sending prayers your way & I pray you get your BFP today. GOOD LUCK & I will be checking later today when I get up.

AFM: I am starting to doubt the HPTs. My DH doesn't want to believe it until the line gets darker & I think it is rubbing off on me.

Leora: what a lovely set of synchronicities and a lovely dream. I havnt heard the name before but its gorgeous. Oh I've now been to the doctor twice and both have diagnosed a bacterial throat Infection. I had just finished 10 days of antibioticsbut the second one has given me two more very strong sets. I have some recording studio stuff to do in two weeks so I hope it clears soon.

Amanda: don't let the doubt rub off. Let's go with optimism :)

I imagine this will be a very active day on the board with everyone sharing their emotions over Mother's Day, I really hope so. I want to encourage others to share with us what you are doing today even if it's spending time with dh. I really think it's important to know you are loved and being thought of today.

For one I'm actually glad the rain is coming...I feel it fits my mood perfectly. With the dark overcast sky and rumbling thunder I walked out to the garden and picked the one sunflower out of the whole bunch that's in full bloom. Sunflowers are special to me, dh brought home a bouquet of sunflowers the day we found out I miscarried. So now every year he plants them and as I was bringing one in I heard him say you're supposed to put them in a brown paper bag, I was like what? He said yes it's how you get sunflower seeds. lol I threw a fit, I know how much he's crazy addicted to sunflower seeds...he might as well but not today! I cooked brunch, waffles and bacon sounds so healthy right? We decided to clean out the house today, throw away a bunch of crap we don't need. But I don't invest time into yard sales, mostly donate everything and we have a lot of places around here that will appreciate bags of clothes and mismatched socks. I also decided today I will not jump on facebook, I think it's for the best. Anyway the rain is here, we just brought in our furbabies who are extremely nervous of thunderstorms. Normally Blackjack hides out in the closet while Vegas paws us to be petted constantly. I'm wishing everyone well.

Christy- I love Sunflowers as well and they can get really huge!! Your breakfast sounds yum! We definitely need to go through our house and get rid of things before we move. Glad you, your DH and Furbabies had a relaxing day!

AFM- Wishing everyone a lovely Mother's day. Today, I salute you if you've ever nurtured, encouraged or shared knowledge with a child. Mothering comes in many forms. We had a nice slow day. Hubby and DS got me some lovely flowers, (the main color being purple which is my fav) and a nice pen and stationary set. He cooked us all some bacon, sausage, biscuits, eggs. Oh and Coffee but only DS drinks that lol. Then we layed around some and hubby I went off for a while. DS didn't want to go.....we were too full for a lunch so had some Cinnabon instead. Later came home, walked to get a movie and BBQ'd some ribs.

Just glad this is the last Mother's day in Germany!

I love having Mother's Day brunch with the women of my family Mom and Grandma mostly...I love them so much I can't imagine life with out them and today I am most thankful for these wonderful women in my life. I never celebrate father's day since my parents divorced when I was little and my dad and I are pretty estranges but this day reminds me that I do have people in my life who love and care for me.
