Amanda - I see the line! :D You are still really early. If you want, I can show you my HPTs from 11 and 12 "dpo" last year -- and I was pregnant with twins! Keep peeing! (Do you know the sensitivity of those tests? That might also help - to get a more sensitive test) Or get a digital - that'll prove it to your DH!

Patricia - are the antibiotics helping? I hope you feel better soon!

Christy - I'm glad the weather matched your mood. Our dogs aren't scared of thunderstorms (which are really rare here) but they bark at the thunder. Not sure what they are trying to do! Cleaning the house and avoiding FB sounds like a great plan for Mother's Day. I hope you got a lot accomplished.

Gina - sounds like a great day! Did you see a good movie? We just saw the 2nd Sherlock Holmes movie - they are both really cute!

Lauren - HOLY SHIT, indeed! :D You are what, 10dp5dt? That is a really high beta! I hope that means a healthy baby (or babies). My RE also usually only does one beta, and if it's 'good', we do an u/s. How far along will you be on Friday? (add a ticker!) 5 weeks? (you won't see a heartbeat, but you can see a gestational sac)

Anna - not exactly sure what 'christening' is, but sounds like you had a wonderful day too.

Margi - Im' really going to try not to POAS. I know, crazy, huh? I find that the negative sticks for a week before beta brings me down more than not knowing. I think this time I'm going to try the craziness of not knowing vs the depression of seeing negative sticks. I'll POAS in one week from today! (Until then, I'm going to give my pee sticks to a friend so I'm not tempted!)

AFM - 4dp2dt... one week until I POAS and 8 days until beta!

btw - my last cycle, I bought some cloth panty liners. I hate the plastic-y feeling of regular disposable panty-liners - but without anything, my underwear gets too icky from the suppositories. I didn't get the chance to try the cloth ones last time, since I miscarried before they arrived in the mail - but I'm using them now and LOVE them! I bought ones that don't have wings or a snap, so it's a little trickier since they don't stick to the underwear like disposables, but soooo much better! :D I highly recommend

Hi everyone! :D
Lots of wonderful news in our board!! I LOVE IT!!! Keep those BFPs coming!!

Hopethiswork- congratulations on the two heartbeats!!! :D I bet is the best sound Ever!!! I am so happy for you dear! When will you know the flavours?

Amanda – I see the line! :D I see the line! :D I definitely see the line honey!! I am SURE you did IT!! How wonderful! I am with Leora, go get a digital HPT and show it off to your DH! Can’t wait for your beta and to officially Congratulate you!

Lauren 319 – what an amazing beta mama!! :D :D :D And again, Congrats to you!! What was DH’s reaction? Are you planning on telling the family/friends right away? Finally, something to ‘please’ your MIL!  Can’t wait for the u/s!!! and please put a ticker!!!((HUGS))

Leora – Good for you waiting for the beta! :D That will be the first but it’s going to worth the wait! You’ll see!... I don't know how I do it, but I always wait for my beta! Except that time I tested on my first iVF ...silly me! didn't knew where I was getting my self into! Madness!!

Christening is another word for Baptism and it is one of the many Christians ritual, Law and tradition. As a Christian Orthodox, I was Baptised/Christened as well and I have Baptised/Christened together with my DH, 6 children. We are the proud God parents of 3 girls and 3 boys :D Christening is something similar to the Jewish Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah. Only the parents don’t wait till their children reach the age of 12 and do the Christening between 6moths and some even a year, actually depends on the parent’s wishes to the timing they perform this but usually it is done between 6-9 months old. ...That is cool about the cloth panty liners! Never crossed my mind of buying that kind of stuff but thanks for recommending them! :D I’ll have it in mind for my next cycle..when that day comes

Sunshine- The cookout and the girls sleeping over plans you have sound great! :D I am sure you are going to have great times. Have you managed to clean the house yet? I hope you are having a hell of a time on your time off!! Go do your hair, mani peni, massage and shopping! or window shopping! Whatever your pockets says it’s good! :D or Buy a dozen shoe pairs  I know you like that! Shoeholic! These are my recommendations for your 2 days off!! Oh! Almost forgot! Congrats on the pay raise!!!That is SO cool! The WHY is irrelevant!

Ninde- I hope you feel better by now! Being seek, sucks! :x ((HUGS))

Annashope- Congratulations on christening your boys! Sounds like you had a great time :D

Gina- I am crossing my fingers you get to move before Thanksgiving! :D

Blueyedreamer – The poem you shared was beautiful! I know you will think I am crazy but here it goes...i haven’t had a miscarriage to ‘officially’ lost a baby but I too, feel the loss of a baby/babies I never had. I don't know if that makes sense  I have transferred 14 embryos so far :( (7 attempts x2 embryos each time) and even that those embryos never implanted I have made so many dreams for all of them! every time I welcomed them in uterus! and I have pictures of them and I know that they were 'living organisms' or better say there were alive inside me for some time. That ‘time’ might be from 1 minute, to a day, or days, but they just didn’t survive inside me :( Am I crazy feeling the ‘loss’ of those 14 embryos that didn’t implant? Because this is exactly the way I feel! Loss. And I know that nothing can compare to the 'real loss' of a baby that you saw it growing inside you, or the baby that you heard its heartbeat or the loss of a baby you gave birth to just to see it fading away in the silent night. All the embryos in the world cannot compare to that kind of losses but I too feel the loss of not having a baby in my arms. :( And the idea that all those 14 embryos that I have transferred had the potential of growing to be beautiful healthy babies doesn’t make the pain of loss any less. I felt pregnant (ok, pupo!) 7 times, so I guess I am allowed to feel the pain of loss. And until the day I get to hold my baby in my arms I will feel that pain of Loss...

Sorry for the vending!and please don't take this personally! I just felt like sharing my thoughts with you and the girls....

Kynlee- Organizing baby stuff for others! :o Bravo girl! :D That must be tough but you will get to organise your baby stuff soon! I can’t begin to tell you how prepared I am for my baby/babies to come! As soon as I hear the news that I am pregnant (I get the shivers just by saying the word!) I’ll have the nursery ready within a week and my hospital bag ready to go! I had/have all the time in the world to get ready for that day so can you blame me for being ready already! ...even though I know that we don’t get off the rollercoaster so easy and that just by getting the positive beta the journey, worries never stop, there is nothing wrong with dreaming right? ...seriously I am ready to go and buy the nursery stuff and clothes and toys and even the potty for when the baby is ready to pee on its own! :D

Cyn – How are you? What's new?

Margi – Oh Margi! :D how nice of you to be checking on us honey! :D How’s beautiful Sophia and Levi doing? And how is the stay home mum job? I bet is the best full time job EVER! Xxx

I am sure I left people behind! Sorry! :)

AFM – I got this call from my DH’s University about that job I was telling you about last week and so i have and interview / presentation tomorrow morning 11:30am at the University. :D So, cross your fingers for me girls and wish me Luck that I get this job! :D I have a good feeling about this! ...of course I had a good feeling about other jobs too...anyways! ... They told me I have to prepare a 15min PP presentation in English (our official language is Greek but at the Universities and colleges the classes are mostly in English) English is our second language. Anyway, the presentation is about suggesting ways to promote the Uni. Ever since last Tuesday I received the call about the interview, I have been working on this Power Point Presentation and I believe that with all this time and effort I have invested in this, it’s going to be a really good one! :D It’s only a 15min presentation but since am a perfectionist I could not help it not reading and searching about everything regarding this Uni and other Unis. I have finished the presentation last night and I have spend all day today practising on my speech...I find it unprofessional when people present and read EVERYTHING from the screen. I always go prepare for presentations and learn everything by heart. I will do the presentation for my DH tonight and get a first impression and his comments of course! :D

About the trip to Malta (gift from my Bro :D ) me and my BF we are leaving this Friday 18th May at 12am and we are coming back on Monday 21st in the afternoon. I am excited! :D I just received confirmation from the agency that we are staying at the Hotel 'Le Meridien' and judging from the pictures on the internet it’s a very very nice one! If it is anything like the Meridien we have in cyprus is going to be absolutely amazing. The 'Le Meridien' in Cyprus has the best SPA in the Mediterranean and princes and sheikhs from India and UAE choose to have a permanent suite there. Thank you brother for arranging for us to stay at a 5* Hotel! Have I told you I LOVE my brother! Yeah, I loved him ever before this gift!

We went to the movies Saturday night...after a LONG time...and saw ‘The Avengers’ in 3D. It was good. Exactly what we expected from this kind of movie. There were some really funny scenes with Hulk!
Saturday lunch I cooked roast beef and Mousaka for our families and we sat outside at the veranda for the first time to eat this summer. The weather was warm and nice and we enjoyed it. The last few days we had like 29 Celsius degrees and after noon we had showers! Wtf! Crazy weather...

My 38th Birthday are in less than a month and DH told me he has a surprise for me! :o I love surprises! :D Hmm, what can it be! He has his birthday too but I don’t know what to get him! Every year we say the same thing – no presents this year – and every year we go buy each other something...but this year I am still unemployed and we are not at the best place financially so I'd rather save for IVF rather than get a or buy a present. Paying out of pocket 7 IVF cycles so far, has taken us wayyyyyyy back financially. But I believe God is big! and anything is possible! Somehow we will manage! Funny thing, when DH is feeling down about the financial area, I always cheer him up saying something positive etc and whenever I am feeling down about the financial area, he will cheer me up and say something funny or something positive that makes me feel secure about our future...I guess this is how relationships go...being there for each other and find ways to cope with obstacles in life.

Got to go back to my presentation now....I took a long break writing this! 8)

Baby Dust and sticky vibes to us all!!!!

Lauren319- Congrats!!! Happy for the high beta #'s. How many days past transfer are you? Isn't it kind of cool knowing the sex. Our last cycle we transferred a boy and a girl, that way if it was a singleton then we still had the fun of finding out the sex. Though from the beginning I though ours was a boy. FX'd for a health and uneventful next 9 months.

Amanda - Congrats on the positive HPT. Only 2 more day till your beta.

Leoria - hang in there!! you will make it through crazytown, hopefully coming out with a BFP.

Anton - Good Luck on your presentation and FX'd you get the job.

Anton- Thank you, I actually got some cleaning done yesterday I think dh motivated me some and even cleaned the craft room. The interview sounds so exciting, any idea what you're going to wear? As far as the English presentation, hmmm with all the colorful interesting novels you share with us I don't think you will have any problem with that! :D I wish you ALL the best tomorrow and cannot wait to see how everything goes! I hope this summer you and I can be cycling together and next Mother's Day we will be holding them.

Leora- Speaking of Mother's Day I manage to post a few things on facebook to my mothers without strolling down to read. However today while I thought it would be safe, I saw comments about ladies commenting about how their day was so special. I'm glad for them but it's still hard to read about the kids preparing breakfast in bed yada yada yada...I should of known better. As far as the "car stickers" the trend is now flip-flip stickers down here and that's a little better then the stick people on the back windshield but we know when our turn comes things are going to be so different in how we think about others struggling. I know these parents are proud of their little ones, but at the same time have some respect for those who suffer silently and we understand it, we get THAT, so that's why things will be so different with us. Oh panty liners would be so much better in some breathable cotton. :D I'll need to remember IKEA when the time comes...it sounds like that would be a good place to get everything. :D We have a shop called "It's Our Baby!" buts it's incredibly expensive and i couldn't imagine registering there. I'll probably stick to Target. As far as preparing dh and I completely cleaned out the office yesterday. I told him where the nursery is going to be...pointed to the closet and said can't you envision yellow and blue clothes hanging in the there? lol for once I imagined it being a boy, although you know a little girl would be so perfect...we just know the day is coming so why not go ahead and prepare?

Lauren319- Speaking of preparing, how are you going to tell everyone? I am so excited for you! :D :D

Annashope- Sounds like the Christening was so beautiful and meaningful. Glad you got to spend time with family too. We called ours but maybe someday we'll live a little closer to where it's driving distance. Anyway you must promise me you won't take that for granted.

AFM: Slept in this morning and so excited that I get to pick up Belles from school this afternoon! We're planning on making crafts, she and I both been googling ideas and one I thought would be fun is make take newspaper and magazine pages and turn them into recycled beads for necklaces. lol she said she did this once at GirlScouts and cannot wait to try it again together. So excited to get some Belle's time in today, that little girl is my ray of sunshine! :D

Crashing for Amanda - I see both lines and the second one does look slightly darker to me. That's an excellent sign! Even with twins I didn't see anything until 7dp5dt.

Lauren - Big Congrats!! What a great Beta Number!!

Anton- Yes I second that on our "embabies" I had a totally of 9 ! That went in and never implanted! I think WOW I could of had a baseball team by now!!

AMF - I was soooo emotional this weekend.. Had a nice dinner with DH at this new spot I searched on Yelp and he spent the whole dinner on his phone.. texting/emailing... So I sat there quietly and then he said WOW dinner was good. I said the food was a 10!! my company was a 1! He's like I'm sorry I was answering my messages like I always do.. & most the time I never really care because his businesses never stop (or close for the weekend) but on this day I was emotional. I was mad then cried! He's like what is going on with you.... Same thing on Sunday morning. I expected him to get up and feed our furbabies then make me breakfast but when he didn't get up fast enough I got mad then emotional. He ended up making breakfast and left to "pick up stuff from the store" came back with my favorite flowers (yellow Tulips) & a brand new pair of chanel sun glasses.
I am grateful of my son that I have from my first marriage but we tried 3 IVF Cycles & 9 embabies later and nothing.. I told him i'm sorry I just feel like my body failed all those embabies that didn't stick. We could of & should of had a baby by now but haven't.. This Lupon - twice a day is making me crazy with emotions.
Then at 2am this Monday morning - AF came FULL Force! I emailed my doctor to let them know I started and half way thur my hour and half drive to my appointment they emailed back to come tomorrow instead.. They rather check on your 2nd day of AF so I turned around and showed up to work early.
I emailed my husband this morning right before he boarded his flight (off to more meetings) to tell him I really do appreciate all he does for me and my son. Its good timing for another one of his trips so I can cool off and relax in bed alone these next two days. (especially with AF here) Not that I won't miss him or love him any less but I do love his traveling Sometimes I just need alone ME time.. Yes my son will be with me but he's 14 going on 18! and in his room or talking to girls between doing homework..lol...
Thanks girlies for letting me vent! Did anyone get emotional side effects for Lupron or was it just doubled due to my AF coming?
Good Luck to ALL!
