Margi , Lauren and everyone else that gave me info on traveling with Meds!- I spoke to my doctor and they are scanning a letter & will email it to me today! Since I am low on Lupron the pharmacy overnighted a new one to me and I received it today with a travel insulated bag and ice pack..Love those little things so now I don't have to run out and get one.. So I am now ready for the trip!

Leora - Congrats on that big move and sending your sticks to a friends house. I had only 1 left from my last cycle so while waiting for AF (about 8 days late) I used it! Glad I have no more and won't buy any... well for now! I can never hold off even though I try!

Kynlee - Yes I think he wants to do the progesterone shots this time. (Never done it before) But with friends I know they all say it has worked for them after not using it the first couple of cycles. So Exciting your day is coming!! I go back for an Ultrasound on Monday (May 21st) but I think I am going to transfer around June 2nd. We have 6 frozen embabies waiting for us.
3 - 6days (2 A, 1 B)
3 - 5days (1 B, 2 C)
but he said they all look good. I just hope they thaw out good.. Do the quality change much when they are 6 days??
We have always wanted to transfer 2 but now I am nervous of losing them both (since nothing has implanted in 3 cycles) so I might just transfer 1 .I don't want to waist 2 good embryos if my lining still isn't ready to implant. Ughhh not sure yet!

Leora - I am feeling so good about this cycle for you. As everyone has said it only takes one, and we can all think of someone who had a crappy cycle that resulted in their miracle baby. I am so proud of you for giving your tests to a friend. In know how you LOVE to POAS, but I think that is for the best so that you do not obsess over it. I will keep stalking for your BFP hun!

Kynlee - I do not recommend doing the PIO shot in the thigh. I did it once and I swore my leg was going to fall off - I was in so much pain!! My thigh was sore for a week and then it bruised really badly, and I am nurse so I know I did it in the right spot. I have a big butt, so butt was soo much easier for me. I did most of them myself without any trouble. I just think there is more fat to absorb the pain before you get to the muscle in the butt so for me that worked out better.

Sending lots of hugs and love to everyone else. As always I stalk regularly and cheer you all on even if I do not post. Thanks for the well wishes, we are indeed counting down on this end and cannot believe how far this blessing has taken us. I just pray that one day everyone here will get the miracles they so deserve!

Well, I had the follow up scan this morning after the spotitng. Everything is perfect as I suspected.

2 perfect beautiful heartbeats!

Hope- Congratulations on hearing two heartbeats!!!!
I wish I had more time tonight to post, it seems like I never have much free time ever since I went full-time. Been trying my best to ignore the pregnant co-worker but when I asked her what she was going to do with the colorful display boxes we had for window display last month at our store she said it's for the nursey and then she walked out. Ugh i cannot help but hate her.

I told dh, last Monday was her 25th b-day and our boss got her a poncho, earrings with cake and card. I was off and my boss even forged my name on the card. The next day I had a craving for birthday cake and when I mentioned this to another coworker she said the coworker took the whole cake home with her! I was like who does that, and the other coworker was like no I didn't get a slice either. I feel awful about my malice thoughts, thinking maybe she'll get gestional diabetes from all the sugar! My thoughts have been worse then that, but often I think how can this baby be healthy? I drive myself insane over it, thinking how could something like this happen to someone who doesn't even know how to take care of herself? Then as I was writing out the date, It hit me that my birthday is in less then two months and I could not concentrate on anything else!

I tread taking out the loan for IVF, but dh said the most comforting reassuring thing about IVF is they monitor you so much ensuring you get the best embryos, so you would be LESS likely to have another miscarriage, ultimately giving us some peace of mind. I know that's everything is not 100% guaranteed but maybe it's comforting to look at the IVF as THE way to get the best embryos of the batch transferred. I only wish I knew of a way to ensure they implant! Dh said looking at our age, IVF is the best alternative, so here we go now looking at less then 2 months! The way I wrote that doesn't seem too far away but who am I kidding...we've waited long enough!

Could I ask for prayers/good thoughts for my Nephew. He's 14 yrs old. Anyway, since he was probably 8/9 yrs old he's always sniffed constantly and he'd chew with his mouth open (highly annoying) because he couldn't breath good. Not his fault though. In the last 2-3 yrs it got worse. My sister and her husband still haven't learned from my niece(they wouldn't treat her fevers and she's end up in the hospital with seizures) and let the Doctor give him something. She said he didn't want him taking pills daily and why she won't take her anxiety medication and she definitely needs them!

Anyway, this last year to year 1/2...it has gotten so bad, he doesn't even have an appetite and has lost a lot of wait. He sits in class with his mouth open because he can't breath if he does not. Kids of course make in fun of him. Sprays he was given doesn't help either. So my mom took him to the Doctor and demanded more. He got a Cat-Scan done of his nose and he has a FUNGUS the size of a fist! He also complained of his eyes and would blink a lot, and they were also bulging. My Aunt and sister have eyes like that so everyone figured it was that, well his is from this fungus. He has an appointment on Monday to get his eyes examined and I pray it hasn't messed up his eyesight. We also hope it hasn't gone to his brain also.

Sinus problems can be deadly! Several years back my Aunt had bad problems with sinuses and they had to go through the side of her head. They almost lost her twice. He'll go in June 1st (long time to wait IMO) to have it removed.

Madame X - how are you? Long time no 'see'. When is your next cycle? Come back and join us!

Kynlee - usually, you take the estrace for about 2 weeks, then if things look good, you start adding progesterone. The day you add the progesterone is "ovulation day" and you trasnfer embryos an appropriate number of days afterward (ie, day 3 embryos are transferred 3 days later, day 5 embryos are transferred 5 days later). Good luck transferring 3 -- this whole thing is a crap shot. Triplets is really scary (and dangerous for mom and babies), but hopefully you'll get one healthy baby!

Gina - yup - $1000 ticket! crazy! - I'm so sorry about your nephew

Cyn - buy HPTs online! So much cheaper and you get better tests!

Patricia - I hope to NOT be cycling in July, but it's a possibility. I know Christy is!

Felicia - I can'tbelieve you are just about full term! Congrats! And you'll meet your little boy sooo soon!

HopethisworksM - yay. Phew - so glad things are still okay. Any explanation on the bleeding?

Christy - I'm dealing with a new-mom co-worker (just came back from maternity leave). Every time she complains about lack of sleep or whatever, I want to slap her. Crazy, I know, but I just can't stand it. Less than 2 months for you! yay! I know it seems like forver, but it's soon!

Lauren - good luck tomorrow! You know it's too early to see heartbeat(s) right? Don't worry if all you see is gestational sac(s) -- it's early even for yolk sac(s)!

AFM - my BIL's engagement part is tonight at my IL's house -- I've already gotten 3 phone calls from my hectic MIL (who knows to please not call me at work). She goes nuts. I'm just trying to calm her down!

Just 4 more days! I have company coming for the weekend (who know about the IVF cycle, and know they need to distract me) and then it's just Sunday -- then Monday!

Cyn- We will be in our 2ww wait together I got 9 embies waiting 5 being 3 day 4 being 5day so I am guessing when they thaw they will be considered 6day? Not too sure on that... I decided to go with 3 cause 2 hasnt worked and neither did 3 3 day fresh so I dont want to drop back to 2, hoping out of 3 1 will stick Hoping they all thaw with no issues... If only 2 thaw right then I will only be doing the 2 so that I have 6 waiting in case i need them later I am so nervous about the progesterone I just want to get that part over so I can relax lol

Fvrogers- TY This progesterone thing is so scary I heard to many stories that it hurts... But if it will get me closer to my dream I am all for it

Ninde – Thank you so much for your kind words my friend! You always compliment me and you make me feel special! Thank you! I believe in the meaning of those words coming straight from the heart and in friendship. On everyone’s friendship here! You guys have shown me so much love and understanding no one else in my ‘real’ life has shown me. I want you to know that I appreciate being appreciated. No one in my ‘real’ life can acknowledge the loss or even the ‘’concept’’ of transferring and then losing our embryos like you girls here can. There’s nothing like a good word from a friend when you need it the most. And I always get it here. You girls never let me down and you are my rock during this journey of infertility. Besides my DH you are the next best thing when it comes to support and understanding during this difficult journey. I love you all and cherish having you in my life and being my friends. It’s good to have someone speaking the IVF language and offer you a shoulder to vent, cry. And sometimes not hearing something, e.g an advice, might be exactly what you need to ‘hear’. Sometimes you girls don’t know it but you help me more than you thing and I am grateful for having you in my life. ...BTW, Christy will be cycling in July! You two are going to be pregers SOON!!!

Sunshine- I am sorry you are having trouble in the work place with that colleague. Life plays funny games sometimes, sometime more often than others and sometimes more than one can take. Hang in there honey! I know it must be tough but you need to look at the big picture and the big picture shows a woman not ready and maybe not able to have a baby right now but this is what life brought her. She didn’t ask for that baby. You are asking for a baby everyday and God will answer your prayers SOON! your turn is just around the corner! And maybe HE is testing you with this colleague in your life. I know it hurts but try to remember that everyone deserves a baby, even the ones we think they don’t. Especially those. Maybe life is challenging her more than you. You are born to be a mother and you are ready to have a child, she doesn’t have a clue where to begin from. Your baby will be SO lucky to have you as mommy because you know how to take care of it even before it is born and her baby will learn life together with its mommy. Challenges are in our lives every day and it is how we deal with these challenges that make us stronger and not the actual challenge. You are a loving and caring person and everyone can see that just by reading how you express about your DH and Belles. You will come out clean from this challenge, wait and see! Don’t lose your energy and your good heart on someone that is dealing with its own challenge. We are here for you to vent and express yourself always! I can’t wait for July to come and we celebrate your BFP with you!! and I know it might feels like forever but its getting close! In July it’s going to be a year since my last cycle and that my friend feels like FOREVER!! ...and it’s still going...So hang in there sweety! ((HUGS))

I am the mother of all speed tickets! My Name is Antonia and I am a Speedocholic! My friends call me Schumacher! (He is an F1 pilot – Formula 1) the number of tickets I paid for speeding are ridiculous! Even though I have to say that I am VERY unlucky with the police! It’s like they can ‘smell’ me coming from a mile away and they are ready! there maybe others in front of me running like hell! But they still catch me! WTF! BUT... I am proud to say that it’s been almost 2.5 yrs that I am clean..with no ticket! I am a good girl now! ...I hope you get your miracle on your anniversary! That would be awesome! Cyn- So glad you are ready to start! Another BFP coming soon in our board! Never travelled with meds but the girls gave you good advices. Decisions, decisions! How many to transfer? hmm...tough question, I guess whatever makes you comfortable. Personally, I am 38 and I have always transferred 2 , got only BFN’s all 7 times, so I guess next time I would transfer 3. If I had 4 maybe 2 again or maybe 4! but no! I haven’t helped much right?! Do whatever makes you feel comfortable!

Kbillsy- thank you so much for your kind words my friend! I totally agree with you on the genetic ‘thing’ I have giving it a lot of thought and end up feeling like you said. The question I put to myself is: ‘do I want a baby with my genes or do I want a baby?’ and I always give the same answer, I want a baby! Genetically or not it will still be MY baby and that is what matters at the end. Thank you for sharing your story! I LOVE your ticker with your 3 musketeers! You are doing a VERY GOOD job mama! When is your due date? Are you excited? ...WHAT I am I saying the woman! Of course and you are excited!!

Hopethiswork- I am SO happy your little ones are doing great! Thank God that bleed stopped. Seems that it is VERY common bleeding during pregnancy. Phew is nothing serious! ...Hmm, things in Cyprus?...come again!? Besides the economic crisis, the unemployment that is sky high numbers, the weather that is 30 degrees Celsius but with a like tsunami mood! We have officially become a tropical weather island!...everything else is pretty good!

AFM- My bag is packed and I am ready to go...hmm, not really but I wanted to say that ...tomorrow morning we are living for Malta with my BF and I am excited! This is exactly what I needed! I am unemployed, on the infertility/IVF rollercoaster for almost 3yrs, had 7 BFN IVF cycles, had over 250 shots and test and meds in my veins and tummy, and bud so YES! This is exactly what I needed! A trip with my BF/more like a sister let’s say. Thank you brother again, for this lovely gift trip! I would absolutely prefer having this trip with DH but since he couldn’t come, I am ok with the next best thing. We are staying 3 nights and so we coming back Monday late afternoon. I might not be able to read your news but know that I will think of you ALL and drink a margarita...or two...for you! I am going to miss you!...

We met for lunch today with DH and he told me to go and have a good time, relax and think of nothing but to have a good time. He is the best! We both hope that hopefully by the end of this month we get good news from a job. This is so frustrating for me is has taken too long but this is the situation everywhere on the island so I can’t take it personally. Anyway...

Anton - have a great time. I know through all my infertility crap, having vacations and fun stuff planned is the only thing that kept me sane.

Gina - your poor nephew.. why didn't they take him to the dr sooner. parent like that just piss me off.

sunshine - So sorry you have to deal with annoying preggo co-worker. Like Anton said, she will never ever realize the gift that she has. Once you get pregnant..which you will.. you will be amazed on how much more strength and patients you will have with that child that possibly wouldn't have had without going through this journey. When i was on my roller coaster ride, I had my BIL girlfriend get preggo and my hubby's BF's wife get preggo. Then had to go on vacation with both of them. Thankfully they were both really considerate and really didn't complain or make a big deal about being preggo. My BF on the other hand was not. She was there asking them all kinds of questions, wanting to feel their bellies.. blah blah blah.. I wanted to strangle my BF that night.

AFM - not much going on. AF came so now i get to go on BCP's. Thankfully she is here before my vacation.. WOOHOO!! I believe I will be starting Lupron on June 22.. So here is a question. my clinic does betas on day 11 and day 13. They have me on the calender to have my transfer on July 16, which then i would have to wait till day 12 to get my beta because day 11 is a Sunday. I am thinking of moving my transfer to the 17th. that way i can still have my beta 1 day earlier. I know doesn't really matter. Would you rather have your transfer 1 day earlier or beta 1 day earlier. IDK, like i said doesn't really matter, just know i might go nuts if i have to wait the extra day for my beta.

To_have_fun08- I have No idea! They take more care of their animals than they ever did with my Niece and Nephew! They have around 12 animals (from dogs to lizards) and she even got mad that my Mom stepped in and took him to the Doctor when they wouldn't. My Mom gave her PLENTY of opportunity.
