Amanda - Yeahhh Congrats... So Happy for you!

Kynlee - Yes I need them to stick so if the shot is what I need to do then I am doing it.. Pain and all.. Getting nervous since everyone said it hurts.. I don't think I can transfer 3 so might just go with 2!

Ninde - It seems like everyone is going with 3 to transfer but i'm too nervous to go with that many, plus my doctor doesn't like t do more than 2 but will listen to us for what we want.. I'm 36yr old. Will be 37 on November 26th (hopefully be full blown preggers by then)

Hope This Works - SOOOO Excited for you that both babies are well!!

Gina - That is sooo scary! I pray that he will go through surgery well and have a full recovery!

Leora- What website do you use to buy them? 4 days left... I am so excited like its happening to me! I have a good feeling for you!!

Anton - Thank you !! I think 1 is not even fair since I waited this long I'm going with 2!! lol Super Jealous for your trip!! Have a blast and yes drink a margarita (s) for me!! Safe Travels!!

AMF - I fly out to Dallas, TX tomorrow and will be there for an event we are producing. (With my Lupron & all) Got my note and bag with Ice. Requested a mini fridge in our room.. Which they come with it but I don't want to fight with anyone if there isn't one... Then back on Monday and straight to my Ultrasound and Bloodwork! By going Monday once I fly back will save me 2hr drive in traffic the following morning. Plus my clinic is only 5 miles from the airport..
Have a good weekend everyone!!! xoxoxo
Good Luck to ALL!

Amanda - WOOHOOO!!!!!

Cyn - Safe travels!

Anton - have fun, babe

Chris - that's a tough call. I don't know what I'd do. The 2ww drives me crazy, but if you go in a day later your numbers will be higher!

Cyn - have fun at girls' night!

Leora - SO SOON!

Gina - I'm so sorry about your nephew. Sending you and yours good thoughts.

AFM - Today's ultrasound was so early apparently. they saw one sac and said because it's so early there may be another that we just can't see yet! Next appointment is next Saturday and Sunday will be DH and my 5 year anniversary. 1 or 2 heartbeats would be a great anniversary present :)

Antonia - have a fantastic time on your trip! I still haven't found a dress for the wedding, but I have until August to do that! I'm still kinda holding out hope that I'll need to plan on being 16-17 weeks pregnant and buy something that will still fit --- but I know that's getting my hopes too high. It's gotten really hot here too - we are up around 30 degrees everyday too! And it's not even June yet! This is going to be a HOT summer!

Kynlee - you too! have a great in Cape Cod -- how was the PIO lesson? Did they actually inject you with anything to show how it feels? My clinic would have you come in for the first scheduled shot to teach you, that way, they can inject you and you know how it's supposed to feel.

Chris - my name is "Leora" (my screen name is leorira), but whatever - I figure out you're talking to me! "Leora" means "my light" in Hebrew. I've always wondered -- why do people do Lupron during a FET cycle? I've always done just Estrace and adding progesterone. Why do you need BCP and Lupron first? I would do beta a day earlier! :D

Gina - I hope your nephew's surgery goes well. As I get older, I remember all the times I rolled my eyes when my grandmothers would say things like "as long as everyone is healthy" -- I feel old, but now I agree with that all the time!

Amanda - wooohoo! Add a pregnancy ticker! :D Did they schedule an u/s yet? Just curious (and feel free not to answer)- but after the baby is born, do you want to do genetic testing to see if it was your embryo or the donor's embryo that 'took'? I know it doesn't matter at all, because that baby is YOURS, but I would want to know.

Patricia - that must be hard, to have a client who is pregnant. But hopefully this pregnancy will work for her. Did they ever find a reason why she miscarried 3 times?

Cyn - good luck flying with meds!

Lauren - WOOOHOOO! I told you that 4w6d is waaaay too early to see anything! I did u/s at 5w3d and we saw gestational sacs and barely saw yolk sacs -- next Saturday will be much better! Happy Anniversary! Btw - where are you located, because it seems like you are in my time zone with me! :D

AFM - I really really really should be cleaning my house. What a wreck. We have overnight guests coming, so I really need to fold all the clean laundry and put it away, becuase currently it's a giant heap on the guest bed!

I'm still holding strong! Monday is only 3 days away!

In even awesomer news -- We've been trying to adopt through the foster-care system (which has a foster-to-adopt program of babies they think will eventually be available to adopt. You take in a baby, but there is a chance the biological family will get them back). Anyway -- it's been a lot of "fill this out and wait, we'll call you". We got a call yesterday that we were approved to start a home study and the social worker is coming to our house to interview us at home on TUESDAY NIGHT! Gah! That's going to be a super emotional day. Plus - I really really really have to clean! Do you think she expects things like dusted bookshelves? What if I don't get a chance to clean out the closet? Do you think she'll look? I'm so nervous!

Leora - That's why i was so confused on the name.. duh!!! I have to do BCP's and Lupron because my clinic does all their cycles in batches. There is only one Dr. and they do all ER's in one week and all transfers the week after that. They put me on the drugs to get my body in synch with their timeframe. sucks because I have to take more drugs but in other ways it is nice because i see the dr at every appointment. my first clinic they had 4 doctors and did ER's everyday. They had nurses that took blood and an u/s tech do all the u/s, a nurse would call with all the results and what i needed to do that day. The only time i saw the Dr. was when i went in for ER and ET. If i had a question for the Dr. i always had to go through a nurse and play phone tag all day. So in this instance being in the smaller clinic does have its positives.

Lauren319 - I still think you have twinkies in there. I have heard of several cases where a twin showed up at a later date. FX'd for at least one good heartbeat next Saturday. A great anniversary present.

Leora- Thank you. I know he'll be glad just to breath good again!

What awesome news for ya'll!! I wouldn't think dust would be their major concern but I know me, when I start cleaning I can't stop and would end up doing the shelves in the end lol. I believe they look more for dangerous places....stairs, kitchen, things to that nature and just to really get to know you and your DH. I am sure it will go perfectly!! So excited for you both!!

Just the weekend to get through now! How are you feeling? Enjoy having your company!

Lauren- Thank you for your prayers! That sucks it was a little early but still reasurring! Hopefully you can see more by then....what a great Anniversary present! :)

Cyn- Thank you for your prayers also. Surgery is scary no matter what, but it will be so much better once it's over and he can breath. Hope you have a safe flight and you don't get an hassle with the medications. You never know about security!

Ninde- Thank you. Hope you are feeling a lot better these days.

Amanda- Lovely Beta #!!

Christy- Hope you are doing well!

Leora - I'm in California, but I stay up pretty late, so I'm always around when you are :) What incredible news about the fostering! I'm so excited for you. Cleaning's so hard. I don't think they'll check the closets?! You only have the weekend left!!!!

My beta on Tuesday was 1081 and Friday was 3106! I guess it could still be twins!!! Right?!

Leora: That is AWESOME news!! Yeah! I wouldn't obsess about cleaning out closets and such. I believe that at the beginning of home studies they want to know basics about size of your house, etc, but really want to get to know you and David. Just basically have things clutter free and "regular" clean (I have a friend who does those for extra money). Of course Israel may do things a bit differently, but the concept is probably similar. You will SHINE!!!! :D :D

Amanda: Great doubling! I am so over the moon for you!! :)

Anton: Honey, I hope that you are having a fabulous trip!! I don't want to post photos over here for sensitivity to all the ladies, but I will post some newer ones over on the parents side. I have been too busy, but I need to get myself to do it! They are getting sooooo big.

Lauren: Yes, I was curious about you going for an u/s so early. Indeed, at our first u/s we saw only one sac....then the second we heard two Heartbeats!! My betas are still in my siggie. It certainly felt magical and unreal....I still remember the feeling. I am so happy for you and DH!!! How is he handling all this btw? Excited?! HBs would indeed be a terrific Anniversary Gift!!!

Wow, This board never sleeps! :D Gone for a few days and now thinking how long will it take me to catch up!
Midnight here so I can't stay long but wanted to stop by...

Kynlee- I'm wishing you a fabulous birthday 5/21 and lots of fun with the girls! I want to hear all about it. :D

Leora- Tic-Tock not much longer for you girl! I'm so proud that you gave the "obsession pee sticks" to a friend for safekeeping. Also I want to hear more about the home study, I am so excited that this is a new avenue you and David are pursuring, keep us posted!

Gina- Did you get the plane tickets? I probably have so much to read and read again to catch up? How is your son doing?

Ninde- and how are you?

Anton- Enjoy your vacation. I look forward to hearing all about it Monday, and hopefully see some gorgeous pictures! Most of all I took what you said to heart about my pg coworker and it's given me some peace of mind. I know she has nothing to do with my situation and if I were in her shoes I would be happy but scared at the same time. I found out today she's going back to Alabama to visit her 4 yr old son who lives with his dad. I know her situation must be challenging at times, she struggles in a different way. Anyway I have to decided to separate my personal stuff and stop comparing myself to this coworker. Who knows maybe that could enable me to somewhat function better altogether. :D

AFM: Much more reading pages to catch up. Nothing really new except dh had an interview with Bay Charter School on Wed, interview went great. maybe hear back in 2 weeks? He's still applying for college openings all over the U.S. Told me he applied this week to jobs in TX, and Maryland (close to Shenandoah Valley). But he reminded me we are still cycling in July even if he has to fly home he will make this work. I'm more curious and anxious to see where this journey takes us!

Lauren, wonderful beta numbers!

Leora, congrats on the fostering and adopting progress. Kudos for handing off the pee sticks. I would have ended up buying more.

Amanda, how are you feeling?

Patricia, are you recovering nicely? You sure got hit with a nasty bug. I saw Esther on the pg board. She had her twins via c section. I hope your client holds her pg. I'm sorry you have to treat a pg woman, but your experiences will make you a better therapist for her. Empathy goes a long way.

Antonia, can't wait to hear about Malta.

Christy, good for you for coming to terms with your coworker's situation. It takes a lot of strength to make the decision to separate yourself and even more to actually do it. This world is very unfair. We can't be responsible for the rest of the world's attitude, but we can be responsible for our own and grow from these experiences. I've been in your shoes as have many others. I think we all have gone thru this process and we understand.

Gina, how is your son doing now? The issue with your nephew is maddening.

AFM, dh gave me less than a days notice that the in laws are coming tomorrow. I appreciate them because they are family, but MIL drives me batty with the baby talk. We can't explain our situation because of the language barrier. When we were up visiting for the run she asked if I am ok and if I saw a dr to get a baby. She said "because I want it fast". Nice, huh. Like we don't. It's such a complicated situation.

Hello Ladies,

I was searching the web for some information and came across this forum. I am still fairly new to everything but I would love to share my journey and read about all of yours. I am currently living and working in Kuwait. My husband and I have been trying to concieve for 3 years and finally decided to see a professional. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was about 19 years old, I am now 27. We did our first cycle of IVF about 2 months ago and it didnt happen. =( They were able to take 27 eggs from me during retrieval. They implanted 2 5 day embies and I developed overstimulated ovaries. I was in so much pain and looked like I was already 4 months pregnant! Well, I started bleeding before my beta. We took about a 2 week break to think things through. Out of the 27 eggs they retrieved only 2 were able to be froze. We finally decided to go through with the FET. I was put on endometrin 1 week before implantation. The implantation was on the 13th of May. I am now 6 days post transfer and have been cramping since day 3 along with sore breasts. I am not sure whether or not I want to home test before the actual test. I am nervous! My test date is on the 27th of May. One more week!!

Have any of you ladies had an FET before? If so, can these symptoms I am feeling be my menstraul cycle on its way???

Christy! Glad to see you post! :) Glad your DH's interview went well. Hope he hears from them again! I have a friend that lives in Shenandoah Valley! DH is from Maryland.....closer to the Ocean City not but not too close. I am sure the job hunt for him is really nerve wracking. For the first time in almost 22 yrs (by the time we leave here) DH will look for a job. It's scary not knowing what he will find.

We can't get our plane tickets until August. They won't do them this far out. They also are very firm on the flight date, so looks like Thanksgiving without family unless we can persuade them when it gets closer. We shall see. My son and I are well finally. I still have a slight cough but not much. My nephew has surgery June 1st on his nose, he has a fungus growing inside. My DH gets a CT scan on his next month, hope it's not that too. So we are just waiting.

188 days TO GO until we leave Germany/DH retires........not that I am counting or anything :)
