Katie

Best of luck fingers and toes crossed you will soon be PUPO xxxxx

Claudia hows the pregnancy going??? Is it difficult been pregnant with a toddler???/

I so far behind that i cant do any personals plus i at work so only have a few mins, i wrote a long message last wk on js computer but just as i was about to send it the internet went down!!!! We have a date for FET, transfer 12th September (please God) and i have asked to transfer all 3 remaining if they survive the thaw (though i am sure we will lose at least one) we signed forms to take risk for multiples but i dont want to have any more embies left over and need to be done with ivf!!!! I really hope it works but hey what will be..... Kayla is my little miracle and i am forever grateful. I start bcps in july period, that stupid sniffer 19th Aug. and in sept intralipds and all the rest of the meds. I am so thrilled to have a date firmly in my head though got a fright on mon the doc rang and needed to see me asap in to talk about my recent Smear test, turns out i have a bacterial infection and need anti biotics i was thrilled as their is family history both my sisters have precancerous cells and needed treament and i thought i had it too... didnt mind getting treated but was afraid would interfere with ivf.. .was never as glad to hear i only have to go on Antibiotics
Kayla is 18 mths old today and growing up so fast, starting to put words together like "oh no its raining or thank you mama", i am now practicing "Super Nanny" techniques for sleeping, she was great up till last wk i could put her down wide awake and after 20mins of chatting to her dolly she would doze off, now she has copped on that if she throws dolly out of cot i have to go back into her (have a video monitor very funny to witness this!!) last night i was in 7 times!! Poor j said he wouldnt handle this and wanted to rock her too sleep....eh no way..... she wasnt even crying i just kept picking dolly up, put kayla back on her back soother in mouth and walked out without a word, may have took 7 times in 30 mins but she eventually gave up. She is just testing what she can get away with and jason is just too soft  Funny times!!!!

Hope to log on over weekend to check up on ye all,

gi xxx

Hi everyone -

Claudia - How are you feeling honey? I hope you're having an easy time and still feeling pretty good. thanks for bumping this thread back up too!

Franny - I think of you alot also! I know you've been keeping pretty busy, but I'm excited for you to get going too - I've had my fingers crossed for your bfp cycle for a long time and I wont stop until you're fat & preggo ( then you'll be mad at me for wishing you to get fat) lol. Hurry up AF!!

Anna'shope - I'm so happy to hear that you're moving right along and that everything is going so well! These updates are what keeps the rest of going and hopeful! Wishing you an easy rest of pregnancy honey - xoxo

Leorira - Thank you honey. I read along on your cycling thread often and have been silently cheering you on for awhile. I want so much for your take home rainbow baby to happen. I hate that you and David have been so at odds about cycling, but you know they deal with this ivf hell differently than we do. I've always felt the same way as you have, its actually comforting to me to always have a back up plan and to mentally plan my next move even before the darn beta. Its a coping mechanism that helps those of us that are way too familiar with having to keep trying. I'm sort of at a loss on how to keep my mind off this 2ww since my DH said this morning that this is the last try and that he doesnt even want me to call to see how many donor embies were left after my transfer. This is hard to get my head around, but ivf has eaten my life for 4 yrs now and it has to stop sometime. Ugh, this doesnt help my PMA for some reason.. Anyway, sorry to ramble on. As always I've got you in my prayers - much love - xoxo

Gi - Roll on Sept 12!!! I'm going to be right here cheering you on mama! I hope you get a nice thaw and get to make Kayla a big sister. I hear you on the need to move on after ivf, but that must be easier when you get your wish, right? Wow, Kayla is talking in sentences?? Clever girl!! Ryan still does more caveman grunting and pointing than words, he does understand everything you say, but seems to move at his own pace. I think one day he'll wait until I'm driving and just blurt out something that makes me have to pull over out of being stunned from him finally talking, lol. Until then, his most common word is still Dada. sigh. Hey, whatver happened to mama? Hmmmph!

AFM - Sorry that it took me so long to update. I got back last night and have been trying to not do my usual, clean up, pick up toys bending over 90 times an hr. Its almost impossible to just leave toys in the middle of the floor for me but I already feel bad that Chris has been going nonstop since Wed with Ryan and then have me asking him to keep cleaning up too? So I sigh, and will wait a few more days to get the house back into my version of clean, hee hee, you know men try, but they seem to never notice things like crumbs on counters and dog fur on couches - why is that? So FET went as good as it could have. We transfered 2 hatching blasts that looked really good. He did have a rough time with placement thanks to my 90 degree angled uterus, but he was patient and got it, but it took awhile. I sure hope this works, or I will "what if" that to death! I did get 36 hrs bed rest for a change, but as lovely as it sounded - I was bored out of my mind after 2 hrs. I havent really beeen feeling crampy, but I know it doesnt mean anything either way. I've been crampy with bfn and a bfp cycle. It just makes me feel better to feel something, anything, you know? Today is 3dp5dt and I'm already dying to know whats going on in there!! Haha, that didnt take long, huh? I want to hold off POASing until at least 7-8 dp because I swear if I see just 1 line I'll be unable to function until beta day.. Which with this clinic wont be til June 5. I'll say it again, I think its cruel to make a long time ivf'er wait for the 2nd beta to give me the results. UGh, this 2ww is going to be a long one..

Katie woohooo for being PUPO!!! Everything sounds perfect. I'm so glad the transfer went so well. June 5th is soooo far away! That's so not fair. I would totally have to POAS if I had to wait that long, and you know how anti poas I am! Awww my dear friend I have everything crossed for you!!! Stay away from crazytown! xoxoxo

AFM AF came early today!! It's 3 days early!! So I called my clinic this morning, and I go in Wednesday for my first SnS!! Let's get this party started again!

Much love to you all! :D

Yippeee Franny for AF being agreeable. I swear even the most regular AF gets funny when you are waiting for it to show. Fingers are crossed for Wed for you honey! I want this soooo badly for you! I feel pretty good, I actually rested this time as opposed to my last 2 tries where I didnt get much rest at all. Its been really hard to not pick Ryan up especially when I know thats what he wants, but I want to have no "what ifs" if this doesnt work out, you know? Please let this work for us all. I've had a little bit of crampiness on & off, but nothing major. I'm trying to not be a nervous wreck, but boy my mind wont let me forget that Chris wants OFF of this ivf roller coaster badly. I do too, but how flipping hard will it be to sign over the rest of the embies and just give up?? I agreed that this will be our last try, but now the closer we get the more panicky I'm feeling about quitting. UGH, why is this all so hard for some of us, yet so easy for some who dont even want to be preggo? Its hard to see it that way.. Anyway PMA PMA PMA for us all! Yes, 12 days past a 5 day transfer is flipping torture! No wonder I picked up 2 boxes of FRERs this morning. Haha, as if you thought I wouldnt, right? lol. I WILL force myself to hold out until Friday though, that will be 8dp5dt AND my first beta which they wont tell me any results.. Grrr, thats mean to do to me, I'm sort of kidding.. I get WHY they do it that way, but lets face it, I've done this enough to be able to handle any answer they give me. Crossed for us all - much love- xoxo Cant wait to hear about your appt Wed!!!

First SnS down. I start my meds today and then go back on Friday June 8th for my next SnS. They are thinking my transfer will be either the 12th or 13th!! It's go time!!
Not sure when they will do the intralipids. The nurse doing my SnS didn't know so I'm waiting to hear back from the head nurse. Anyone have any idea when it is done?

Katie how's it going? I'm thinking of you!! xoxo

Hey Ladies

Katie fair play to you for not poas!!! I dont think i will be that disciplined i am one of these people that just needs to know and also we dont do betas here so gotta pee sometime ha ha. So chris wants to finish ivf as well cant blame the guy ye have been doing this for so long but i think i would be a bit like you and would just want to use up the remaining embies but fingers crossed you are pregnant and it wont even need to discuss it. Best of luck with beta xxx

Leoriri i cant even imagine how difficult this journey is for you but your strength and drive is really an inspiration though i can see why you continue as what option do you have if you want a baby of your own, your little angels are all looking down on you and will make sure you take home your rainbow baby soon xxxx i read on other thread you going back to the gym hows it going????? I am a fitness fanatic i used to work out 7 days a week till recently but had to cut back to 4 days as it was physically taking its toll i lost too much weight and looked awful, just take it easy and ease yourself into it dont forget your body has been thro. so much what with ivf and your pregnancies (sometimes i dont think men really realise what we put our bodies thro.)

Franny how great AF came!!! Here in ireland we do intralipids around 6 days before transfer then 6 days afterwards, its very easy and painless. I also got 2 more intralpids when i got my bfp one at 6 wks pg and last at 9 wks. I cant remember are you doing donor this time??

Acckkk!
Neg FRERs on 6dp, 7dp and 8dp5dt. Crap, this isnt looking good. PMA is waning quickly.
Now I have to go get my 1st beta and try to refrain from begging the nurse to please end my torment and give me results today ( which she wont, or cant, I'm not really sure) Either way I dont get results until 2nd beta on Tues. I know its not over yet, not til b/w is in, but its hard to wrap my head around the idea that 2 flipping hatching blasts were tx'd into a "perfect" lining and it looks like I've failed again. Sigh. This is hard. I'm out of sticks and I think I'll just wait, it seems pointless to buy any more of the hateful sticks. I'll write later when I'm not so down. - xoxo

Hmmm, it seems that Crazytown has a really strong hold on me, lol. I came back from Labcorp to realize that I had left the garage door wide open, and the house unlocked! Wow, good thing nobody noticed that, huh?
And I just did what I thought I wouldnt do - ummm, yup, I emailed my nurse begging for an answer. Well I phrased it as "if its zero can you just tell me today". Any bets on whether I even get a response or not, lol.

Edited to add - I cant believe the nurse not only called me back - but agreed to tell me beta results! Only problem is they were closing at 4pm (their time) and at 4:05 she tells me that the results STILL wernt in and she'll let me know on Monday. Only I could get them to agree to early results AND still have to wait over the weekend  At least monday I'll know either way, right?
