Ninde - I am currently living and working in Kuwait. I am orignially from California. My husband and I are both government contractors and have both worked in Iraq, Afghanistan and now Kuwait. The living conditions are so much more comfortable here and of course the fact that we do not live in the middle of a war zone anymore.

Leorira - I am so very sorry to hear about your BFN. I remember how I felt during my first cycle and recieved my BFN. I was extremely sad. I went through soo much during that cycle! I was in so much pain because of OHSS. I was so sure that it would work. I am thinking of you and hope you are doing better. --- Jerulsalem!! That is fantastic! I have never met anyone who has been on the same side of the world as I. I have always wanted to visit! Are you from Jerusalem? I am here if you need to chat...our timezone is not way off!

I have 3 more days and I am starting to become more and more nervous. This morning when I woke up for work, my breasts were soo tender that I didnt even want to stand up and I felt a bit nauseas. I am still cramping throughout the day. I do not want to get my hopes up because I know these can totally be side effects to the endometrin. I also dont want to be negative but I dont feel like I am pregnant (than again, I have never been pregnant so how would I know???). I am praying for the best. 2 days and a wake up!

Kay - How are you doing? Thanks for your kind words, it really means a lot to me. I just hope our devotion to having children comes across to those deciding if we get one!

Antonia - I'm sooooo jealous! We were on a cruise to the Canary Islands in Feb -- and I want to go back! We hadn't taken a "real" vacation in such a long time, because whenever we travel - we go visit family because our families live on opposite sides of the world. This was our first 'real' vacation and I want to go back! Maybe Malta next time? When do you hear about that job at the university?

I've been doing massage -- I find it's cheaper and more helpful than therapy at this point!

Gina - that sucks about your parents' bank account. I hope that gets sorted out soon, and in their favor!

Kynlee - Happy BIrthday! (Christy mentioned y'all are FB friends -- find me too! I think I'm probably the only "Leora" Christy is friends with, so should be easy!) Strawberry short cake is yuuummm.... maybe I"ll make some. I have a ton of fresh strawberries!

Patricia - can you go back to the doctor? Maybe a lung x-ray or something? I'm worried about you, hon! I haven't heard our song for Eurovision yet -- I'm keeping a surprise until the Finals this weekend. Did Ireland make it? For those Americans who don't know what Eurovision is (and I didn't until I moved here) -- look up some of the songs on YouTube - it's fantastic fun!

I asked why I would have been switched from Puregon to Menopur and he said it was because my LH wasn't rising enough. The Menopur has LH in it too, but Puregon is just FSH. So I can take the Puregon, but he'll keep testing my LH (along with e2 and progesterone) to make sure it's high enough -- if not, I can add LH (Lueveris). I inject at work, and mixing and multiple needles is just a pain. The Puregon pen is easier.

Amanda - When is your u/s? How many weeks/days are you now? for the u/s? For a ticker -- go to LilyPie (or whatever) and make a ticker, then copy the "Image URL" and put in in your signature between the

AFM- UGH... been so sick with a nasal thing now turned into cough!!! I been super busy starting a Fundraiser for a close friend of ours, its my Nieces in laws which my family is super close with... They had a fire in there apartment in the middle of the night Monday they lost everything except the pj's they had on so sad... So we are all getting together to help them... I cant imagine losing everything... As for everything else with me just waiting for my U/s which is next weds Cant wait to get transfer

Kynlee- dh spoke with his coworker about the yardsale and we have everything set for June 9th. We need 3-4 more tables, hopefully someone will let us borrow but dh told me last night we'll use the proceeds and purchase a Visa gift card since it will be easier to mail then cash. Very excited because where we'll have the yard sale will be in a high traffic downtown area.
Sounds like you came down with a sinus infection, wish I could send you some Floridian oranges but take care of yourself, ET is right around the corner! Did youg et some numbing cream for the progesterone shots? I don't have much junk in the trunk so it would be essential for me to numb it all up first. lol

Anton- Sounds like a 6 pack could of came home with you, I'm so glad you had a nice get-away! I know dh appreciated the massage and you have some adventures to tell and maybe recreate some of the exotic dishes for dh. I LOVE pineapple in anything and today for lunch I prepared a fresh salad with tomatoes, onions, chopped up ham, diced pineapple with zesty italian dressing- Boy was it delicious! But I'm still craving some home-grown tomatoes but too frugle to buy them and they take months from the seeds. I think I will invest in a tomato plant soon! But anyway I cannot wait to see some pixs posted on fb of your trip.

Leora- I'm the same way but thinking if we work full-time now maybe it would give us more benefits later. I find it fastinating how the social system is different depending on where you live. You say health care is better here, I say it's more affordable there, lol it's quality versis affordable and so many in the U.S. don't even have health care for this reason. Here I wouldn't get maternity leave and insurance benefits unless my status is full time at work. However even though I've been working 40 hour work week for 6 weeks I'm still waiting to find out if the RM approved the promotion. It really shouldn't take this long and I need to know one way or another so I move forward. I figured I'll try to balance everything in July with the long drive, starting my day at 5 and get to clinic at 8 to drive back in time to be at work by 12 to work mostly evening shifts. I shouldn't worry b/c it should be easier then the 8-5 bank job, I mean at least there is more flexibility. But still I feel IF I'm going to keep working 40 hours they need to change my work status to full-time. It's even in my handbook that full-time is considered 30+ hours so they need to figure it out soon or I will have to sit down with my boss and have a long discussion about feeling taken advantage of, it really shouldn't be this way though. Right now I would be thankful to have 32 hours, 40 hours is really too much anyway and my thoughts are they could trim my hours down a little, esp with the 45 minute drive to and from work so if you tacked that on I've devoted altogether 47 hours. Makes us wish we could work from home, huh? Not to mention the time it takes to get ready for work, lol I won't get into that! hmmmm a massage does sound enticing, esp talking about work on my off day.

AFM: Our first scan is Wednesday but we may take a peek this weekend at work. I am dying to know if there is one or two. We didn't get to shoot pool this week bc I was cramping yesterday so dr. orders was to stay off my feet for the night so that is what I did. I've had 3 beta nows. 1st was 100 & 2 days later it was 231 and this week was 4083!!!

Amanda - hahahha Thats a funny story on your hubby! But it was like that this weekend. They stopped my husband and I just walked right through! BTW-- So lucky you and can take a sneak peep... Lauren - My husband told me after I walked past security. Boy do I feel safe that you have needles on my flight! I'm like Hey... I will stick you with Lupron if you don't be quite!

Leora - Sand Storms?? Sounds scary! So glad the social worker visit went well. I would love to adopt (since my brother was adopted when he was 2 (I was 4 and remember the day he came) it was like who's this kid? and he has to stay here..lol but we got close since I was more of a Tom Boy. But because my husband and I each have 1 kid we decided if we can't have our own we are good with just raising our two. & with them both in High School next year we will retire early and travel the world!! (But I DO want just one of our own...I can't shake that feeling of being pregnant one more time & having my husbands baby!!)

Hopethisworks - So glad to hear that both heartbeats are there and they are growing!!

Kynlee - My trip was for work - we were busy the whole weekend but everything went well so that was good! Yes I am so nervous to start the shots! I might be starting in two days... Whats the name of the numbing cream you got?

AFM- bloodwork and US tomorrow then to my son's dentist appt to remove his braces. He's so excited to have them off! The Kids have a 4 day weekend holiday so since I was gone last weekend I am giving myself a 4 day weekend as well! Whats the boss going to say NO?? (My boss is my husband..lol) Hopefully I get the word on when the transfer will be tomorrow!

Leora--just wanted to pop in and say im so very sorry about your BFN. But glad you are able to cycle again straight away. They make you wait for 3 months over here! All that waiting around between cycles made me nearly mad. I am really hoping this next cycle is it for you. You have been through so much and deserve a child in your arms. You will be the best Mum ever!

Leora, it is so interesting to hear you talk about what it's like living in Israel. From the sand storms to travel restrictions, it's all fascinating. I have a friend that is an army nurse. She is in Kuwait now. Glad to hear you get to cycle again.

Patricia, how are you feeling? Has the dr swabbed and tested for what type of infection you keep getting? They may not be using the right antibiotics or strong enough ones. I'm concerned that it keeps reoccurring. Do you have any other symptoms? Nausea, rash? Are you taking anything that can weaken your immune system like prednisone? You start rebounding soon right? How fun. I would love that. My MS is kicking my butt this week. I got a great workout on Sunday and an ok one today but it was super hard today. I've had a lot of pain and fatigue. Blah

Sorry for lacking personals. I'm pooped. My fatigue is high and my anxiety is up for some reason. I don't think it has recovered from the in laws visit. I did get my hair done Tuesday which was nice. Take care all!
