kimbob - i wish you the best of luck on your journey. Getting your head wrapped around DE is hard and its even harder to think of how much money it costs. I just looked at it that I would pay this much money for a car or truck, why not pay that much for a baby? Only thing is at least with a car you are guaranteed to come back with something. DE is not guaranteed.

I just have to say that I really liked reading this thread. I'm currently looking into donating my eggs and/or acting as a TS for a gay couple, but I really want to try to understand what it's like to go through the process from the "other side". The first few pages of this thread are wonderful. If I do wind up donating I don't want to inadvertently be insensitive or rude. I think this really helped me, as I'm studying to be a physician and I think it's really important for doctors to be sensitive to their patients.

I would love to be an egg donor for someone in need.
I am a 19 year old college student with brown hair, brown eyes, and a slender, athletic build. I am 5'6" and I have fair skin. I have never had any genetic problems, and have always had great teeth and skin. The only problem I have is the need for contacts. Same with my parents and grandparents. I do not smoke, drink, or do drugs. I work out regularly. I received a 30 on the ACT and a 2020 on the SAT. I had a 4.3 GPA in high school. I was also on the Varsity basketball and Cross-Country team. I play basketball for my college. I am very outgoing and I love reading, nature, and my friends and family. I am a very sweet and caring person. I live in the U.S. and I'm willing to travel.

Looks like this thread is DEAD! Or isn't it? I am looking for cycle buddies for FET with donor eggs. We have 7 left from previous cycle with DE. Anybody out here?
To the donors posting on this thread, I think you should consider working with egg donation agencies. It provides anonymity to the parents and donors. I highly recommend First Smile Egg Donation www.FirstSmileEggDonation.com I only know them from the intended parent perspective and they were great but I am sure they are equally great with donors as well. I can't imagine looking for a donor on my own. I would rather not meet her, not know her name, and think of her as our angle rather than a real person. Anyone feels the same?
