franny - I completely understand. when i was in my 20's i was store manager of a little Caesars. I don't know how many times i had to work open to close because someone didn't show up or called in sick. not fun at all. well hope its a busy night for you so time will go by quickly. what time is your transfer?

Just had to jump on quick to wish Franny an easy and successful FET tomorrow. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get 2 great embies from the first straw. Ugh, for being stuck at work until 11, but you turn your phone off when you get home after your transfer and just relax, ok? I'm with Ronda - this is it for you girl!! I insist upon it, lol. Much love and happy FET!

I'm sorry Chris. I hate to hear things like that, its just awful. Thoughts and prayers for your friend during her grief. I wish there were a bubble like that because I'd like to go live there too..

Hi everyone!
So Today we transferred 2 day 6 blasts (or maybe they are day 5, but today is day 6??) I have no idea how that works, but on my little picture of them it days day 6 so who knows.
Anyway one looks really good, and the 2nd one is a little silly looking, but I like it. It's all smushed to one side of the circle, and I quickly fell in love with it's odd little self. haha
Both of them came from the 1st straw, so we still have 4 more embies to make a sibling.
The HCG wash was easy and painless, and the transfer went smoothly.
After the transfer they brought me right up to the healing spa and I had my acupuncture. I was all relaxed and I even fell asleep for a little bit, and then a lady knocked on the door to tell me they were going to be setting off the fire alarms to test them!! Nothing wakes you up from relaxation then a loud beeping strobe light screaming in your face! hahaha
Barry and I went to lunch at our favorite bagel shop, and then we came home.
I passed out, and am just waking up. Tonight we are ordering Chinese food, and watching movies!

Sonya Hope you had an easy transfer today! I know there is a time difference between you and I, but let us know how everything went!! xoxo

Thank you guys for always supporting me! It means so much. Hopefully we will be celebrating good news soon! Oh..I almost forgot....BETA is on Friday June 22nd!!

Hey ladies,

Chris i am so sorry for your friend life can be so cruel sometimes, i too would love to join that bubble my sis who i love to bits is 8 weeks pg and while delighted is a bit of a moaner (she has a 5 yr old as well) she told me recently that i have no idea how hard it is to get pregnant when married to a cab driver who works nights said it was all about timing and very difficult for her....ughhhhhh..... i was furious like hello she got pregnant on 1st month of trying.....took me 8 yrs 7 ivfs and 2 miscarriages!!!! anyway i am thinking about your friend and hope she is able to deal with her grief as i am sure you never get over it but just learn to cope with it xxx

Franny Congrats on been PUPO!!!!!!!!!! Now i am not the most religious person but i live right beside our local church and while not a church goer i do light candles when its called for and say a prayer and meself and Kayla will light one for you and Barry that you Finally get your miracle baby xxx

Katie hey just thinking last night i Know why your ivfs havent been successful......we always cycle together and your body has figured out i am going in Sept. and wants us to do be cycle buddies again :D :D :D so you may hold off till sept!!!!!!

Yippee Franny!! Congrats on being PUPO.. Are ya gonna POAS? Why make your beta so late.. don't they know they are torturing us?

Gi - Fertile people have no clue. It floors me on some of the comments that i have heard. Wish that bubble existed.

Dandeme_ How did your transfer go?

Katie - how are you going? if all the embies that are frozen are 6-8 cells i would try again if i were in your shoes. there has to be one good embie in there. YKWIM? Did you get all your testing done?

GiThat is so sweet that you would light a candle for us. You are so thoughtful! Thank you!! :D

Chris I'm so sorry about your friend. That's so heartbreaking. I really really wish we had that bubble too.
I don't know why my BETA day is that far away. It's 9dp5dt so that's 2 weeks. My birthday is on the 19th so at least it's not then. I don't think I could take beta stress on my birthday. Hopefully I get my birthday wish though!! :D

SonyaHope everything went well. Give us an update when you have the time!!

Katie I'm sure you are still hanging out at labcorp getting a million viles of blood sucked out of you. I hope it is going smoothly. How long does it take to get the results?

afm bedrest day #2. Barry went to work today so I'm all alone. Piper has been downstairs all morning ignoring me. I've been working on making jewelry to keep me busy, but the beads keep spilling all over the bed every time I move around haha. I also downloaded some lame movies that I wanted to see but I didn't want to pay for, and Barry refuses to watch so I'm going to do that too. It looks beautiful out so I might move myself outside on my deck.

What does everything think about swimming?? I'm not going to go today, but what about later on in the 2ww? Not like doing laps or anything, but just floating around...do you think it's safe? My old RE said not to do it, my new RE didn't say anything about it.

Franny - - I'm so happy that you had a great thaw and still have 4 left!! That sounds like it went as well as it could have, thanks for that! I've never been told anything either way about swimming, I know they dont want you to have any hot baths, but maybe call your nurse just in case? Bad movies keep us going during bed rest, and sometimes a little silliness is just the thing to keep you distracted. 9dp isnt too long for a beta, well at least I dont think so.. but my RE made me wait 12 whole days, so for me it was forever.. my old RE was an 8d wait and even that seemed long. We just cant win with hurrying up the 2ww, can we? Is it time yet, haha. Try to enjoy your princess days and give Piper a hug from me.

Gi - Oh! so thats whats wrong with my body, lol. Wel then we need to hurry up and cycle together soon then! UGH, for your sis complaining. A whole month of trying?? the poor girl.. its like only we "get" how trying this is for all of us. Dont let her frustrate you too much, ok? We get it. Kisses to Miss Kayla and your Mam!! - xoxo

Chris - Oh yes I'm really leaning towards using the 5 we have left, how could I just sign them over? I'd be left wondering for a long time, you know? I just have to wait and see what these tests show and hope like hell that something is there so we can try to correct it. Ugh the waiting game never ends I swear!

Sonya - Hope your transfer went nice and smooth! GoodLuck!

AFM - i had to cancel my labcorp appt for today, grrr! I cant bring Ryan for a 3hr+ appt and they dont have any Saturday appts for 3 weeks! Chris's schedule for the next month is terrible for me, he's home by the early afternoon, but I have to do these fasting and early.. sigh. I've tried 3 times to get in, but got so annoyed yesterday that I called another lab and was lucky to get an appt for this Sat. Then I emailed my nurse to resend the lab orders there - and so far havent heard back from her. Now I have orders at one lab, and an appt at a different lab - but no orders.. yet. I dont understand how something as simple as b/w can get so frustrating. if I dont hear from her today, I'll have to chase her down tonight. Heh heh, hey, sometimes the 3hr time difference works to my advantage  Much love and luck to us all - xoxo
