Gina- They'll always try to find an excuse! I hope you work it out!

Anna - where in PA? (did I know that?) PM me! So glad the NT scan went well!

Cyn - I'm so sorry. I don't have any answers or advice. This just sucks.

Patricia - I think I missed it, but why are you in Sicily? Just vacation? Just you and DH, or alone, or other people? have a great time no matter what!

Nicole - wow, 10 years to get a diagnosis? That's awful. I know MS is usually misdiagnosed a couple times before it's identified, but wow. I hope your back feels better soon! Anything you can do to help speed things along? Heat/ice or something? Can you get "good" drugs for the pain?

Christy - did you get a rain date for the community yard sale? Sucks to get all ready only to be rained-out! But remember - some of us live in drought countries and have to really watch how much water we consume - so be thankful for the rain! I haven't seen a thunderstorm in years! -- the loan stuff sounds so complicated! Sometimes I don't feel grown up enough to deal with money like that. I hope it all gets worked out...

Kynlee - yay! That was fast! Hopefully we'll be together in our TWW!

AFM - just stimming!

The Follistim/Puregon pen is SOOO much easier than reconstituting the Menopur. Yay!

I'm having dinner with Rosie tonight, before they head to Canada for a year. I just don't know what to say to her, except that this SUCKS.

Work is busy, which is good.

Cyn-I am so sorry. I know this is a very difficult time but I am glad to see that you are pushing forward. That's really all we can do. I hope your RE has some good suggestions and can incorporate them in your next cycle. I know everytime I had a BFN or MC o really looked to my RE for guidance. I will keep you in my thoughts and continue to pray for you. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Sending you a BIG long distance hug.

Ladies just a quick post

Cyn: im so so sorry, its hard not to think its "our failing" when this happens, but its not, there just sometimes are no explationsa sometimes which is even harder. Im really sorry though and Im keeping you on my thoughts x

Nicole: your Ms sounds very tough. I really amazed at how much you do and conti ue to push yourself. Li,e you, my dh thinks he had MS long before diagnosis. He was diagnosed 11 years ago when he was 35. He went through every diagnosis from brain tumor to psychological before they got it. Like you he has steroids from time to ti e and they are so tough. Now he injects Copaxone daily, takes sebellium for the migraines, provigil for the extreme fatigue and ciprimil as an anti depressant. Are you injecting daily or weekly?

Felicia: congratulations on Samuel,s birth :D

Leora: yes on holidays with dh in sicil. Please give Rosie my love

Christy: that's a lot of rain and like everything g - too much is as bad as too little.sicily is beautiful - as is the food :-) Did you get the money sorted?

Kynlee: that's great you are starting again, what's your time frame?

Afm: just back from a six, mile walk in 91 degree heat - you guys in the states might be used to that but im more used to usual temperatures of about 60! But its beautiful, so a nap now and then some swimming

Ciao

Cyn22- I'm sorry you are going through this rough patch, I'm the same way with my RE when he delivers bad news over the phone like that. We need results and I know it hurts, I wish we had answers but know we are always here for you! Drink a glass of wine for me too and maybe something sweet like Chocolate Carmelita, if you want I can post the recipe! :D Anyway I'm interested in hearing what the RE says when you go for the WTF appt, certainly keep us posted on your next steps.

Ninde- Tell us more about all the sightseeing, you say the natives are full of life... love to hear more. Thank you for asking, I woke up thinking maybe it would be better to borrow the money against the house if we have that much equity. I'm thinking refi the house, but dh thinks we could be moving AND wants to go with the Patient financial group and borrow the 24 grand yet the IR would be 11 percent, yikes. However he thinks at 400 a month our IVF payments would still be feasible. At the same time our mortgage rate would save us so much money in a long run. We'll now have payments of 170 for the signature loan we took out yesterday for the 8 grand (we orginally were going to use for his truck but now need for the IVF loan). Are we confused yet? However he really thinks with all his summer work he can pay off the truck by late July and that would save us 340 (his monthly auto payment) to use toward the IVF loan. Either way his payments could be cut in half all depending on what we do. We'll see how much equity we can get with the mortgage and decide by the end of the week which way we're going. Fortunately I haven't shared any of this with my mother as she worries way too much.

Leora- lol I don't even think I'm grown up enough to wrap my head around that much money. I'm still swimming in all this, but trying to find the best solution. Poor dh had to spend the night in Tallahassee FL to prepare for his proctor exam hopefully this certifies him to teach social science to grades 9-12. He really wants us to be able to stay here...It's tough when everything is contracted out, as I said before next year will be very interesting. Anyway the drive to Talla is only 2 hours but he has to meet with the Mortgage lady at 1 so he will be very busy running around today. To think this was his week off from work but it's not looking like much off time for him. Did I mention the in-laws are coming Thursday? Busy busy week... Not sure when we'll reschedule the yard sale hopefully soon since I really have a lot of junk to get rid of. :D As for Rosie, you just being there for support is all she needs. LOVE Canada! I've seen Niagara Falls and stayed in Toronto remembering Square ONE a fabulous mall! How long do you think she'll be living there? I know you cannot wait to get back home! How is the dress coming along for the wedding?

Hi everyone,

Sorry for being MIA, had a lot going on. DH and I took the last 2 months off, after as you can see on my signature our 6th attempt. We had a brilliant time just not stressing about age, about everybody having a child before we do, we went on a short vacation and are stronger than before. I can't honestly say we are feeling totally optimistic, but we proved to ourselves we are strong together and can face this. I'm starting down regulation this Friday and thought I couldn't or rather wouldn't do it without you.
Ninde - Enjoy Sicily, I never did visit south Italy but used to live close to Venice and I love the people, the country and...the food! So enjoy and gather as much strength for yourself and you 2 as possible! I personally feel like a new person after even just a short trip.

Leora - I love your idea about booking a flight ticket to the States. I absolutely love choosing something to look forward to if things don't go our way. I ate healthy and worked out more during the break resisting what I've been telling myself before, that the stims will come and ruin whatever I achieve, and that being pregnant will make me happy but round. I am of course not back to being skinny, but that little I did makes me feel awesome and in control. If, just if we make it, the healthier diet and few hours I did in the gym will make it a healthier pregnancy. And if we won't make it - I'll feel better anyhow than I otherwise would. So that's my ticket, if that makes sense.

Cyn - I'm sorry. Others have said it before, that it sucks but good that you have a plan. That always kept me going. A brave friend of mine told me while struggling herself with infertility, that if you keep on trying it should eventually work. She definitely knew what she was talking about as she's now pregnant :D it took years, but it happened.

Kynlee - exciting that I'll be right behind you cycling! Even though we won't be 2WW pals.

Sunshine - I hope the money issue will sort out fine!

ks_fofo - Congrats on your BFP! what an amazing story, how was doing IVF in India?

And last but not least, dear Antonia, always putting a smile on my face - happy belated Birth Day dear! I wish for you so much and hope you are busy being happy!

Still waiting,
Kay

Cyn - oh, I'm so sorry, hun. Has your RE looked into doing a endometrial biopsy for Beta Integrin cells? It's based on new research, but basically the cells help with implantation and some women don't have them, especially those with endometriosis. I did the testing and didn't and then had to take a large dose of Lupron Depot in the ass once/month for two months before cycling. I did this and HCG booster shots after the transfer and owe my pregnancy to these developments. Worth a shot.

Patricia- I'm not injecting at all. I started on avonex but broke thru so I went on tysabri and had 14 doses (monthly IV). I had to stop to start fertility tx. The only one I could use now is copaxone because it doesn't require a wash out period. The plan is to stay off until we are done with the fertility journey. it makes me nervous, but it is what it is. Im jealous of you holiday!

Waitingkay- ivf in india is way different than alot of you describe on here. First of all you are off work through the whole thing. So you have a lot of time to just relax. However if you've never been to India....its a crazy place. Its a whole other world and requires a lot of research before going and then you still arent really prepared for it. Now we are just hanging in there for good betas. What a nerve racking time in all our lives. Praying for all of us.

First off, sorry for being MIA for a week girls. Now some personals :)

Nicole - 10 years to get a diagnosis seams CRAZY! I hope you start feeling better! What can they do for your pain?

Leorira - Good lick with the stimming! I used the pen as well and it is REAL easy :)

Anton - xronia pola!!!!!

Ninde - enjoy vacation! good luck!

Kynlee 0 good luck and I pray that everything goes smooth for you!

ks_fofo - Congrats! Why India?

wehavehope, annashope - YAY! Glad everything is going well for you guys!

Cyn - I had 1 mc, 1 chemical, 1 cycle that fialed to have anything transfer and lost a twin this time around. Most of the time the doctor tells me it is just the embryo not developing correctly and nothing you did or could do about it. We had a D&C and did testing after our 8 week mc and it was genetic. Hoping one of your o4 frosties is your miracle baby!

My update... Last US about a week ago everything was fine with th one baby but we lost one of the twins. We are still realy positive and the doctor said the remaining twin was thriving, measuring right, great heartbeat and even moving around while measuring on schedule! Another US tomorrow and praying everything is still going great for our little one. I've been feeling tired but that is about it. Praying all is well and all goes well tomorrow. Ill check in after doctors with more good news hopefully :)

Grrrr I feel like a grumpy bear. Mortgage meeting didn't pan out well, they said we would have to pay PMI and it would mean our apprasial on the house would need to be much more then it's currently worth. So in a nutshell we are leaving the mortgage alone. I talked with dh and we've decided to go through the patient financial loan with 24,--- and make the difference of 8,000 possible with the signature loan that we were going to use toward the high interest truck payment. He still thinks we can pay the truck off in July so I don't know why I'm worried about that. We were just hoping to find a lower IR that's all. I'll be glad when all the paperwork is signed and we can offically begin! :D

Tough week at work so I must run...personals once everything gets a little calmer, I promise!

Thank you all for your amazing words or just saying sorry. I know if anyone knows the feeling you all do so it means alot for you all to just write something to me!

Hopethisworks- I'm so sorry again for the loss of your one baby & all the heartache of getting here today... but very happy to hear your baby is growing & doing amazing. So far they said that everything looks good with the embryos they have. When the thawed they said everything was perfect. But of course that is something to look at.
Lauren- we did that test right after my fresh IVF in March. It came back negative (that I didn't have that integrin) but he said maybe we checked too soon (it was 7 days past ovulation) but still put me on Lupron which I also heard that you should be on atleast 3months. Well I was on it about a month then he said were ready to go with your FET cycle. I was a bit unsure & not fully ready but he said lining & everything was good! We also did 4 HCG booster shots during my 2ww with  Progesterone shots!  Still no period (last time I started before my beta test) but no baby either

During my call with the Dr he mentioned either doing a scope to look inside my  uterus .. Doing the beta integrin test again... Or doing a D&C to scrap my lining to make it fresh again .. I was half listening & told him to email me this thoughts so I can go over it. I don't feel like seeing him or the office for a while. I don't think they did anything wrong I'm just really really hurt inside. This has been my 4th BFN & I'm really depressed right now. I go through my day but cry at just the thought of doing this again & no babies. My sister or mom don't understand what I'm going through & the only other person that gets this all is pregnant with twins (she had triplets.. But lost one at 8weeks) she got pregnant on her IVF cycle in the beginning  march (my IVF cycle was at the end of march) so now seeing her so happy at 14weeks is hard but I'm happy for them. He had 2 kids from another marriage & she didn't have any. So after 3yrs of cycles here they are. My husband tells me all the time we are lucky you have a son whom I love as my own. He is my son & we have our daughter (my step his real) but I told him we don't have any together & it hurts me! I am beyond blessed to have them but I feel empty & like something is missing. This is the only thing I really want to happen. I haven't drank wine (I feel so sick to my stomach) I haven't worked out (butt is still so sore from the shots) barely have been eating.. I'm picking Fights with my DH for everything. I don't want to hear my mom or sisters voice or I start crying.  I think I really gave this one my all & did everything to be ready for it & it failed so I feel so let down. Ughhh I'm sorry for going on & on.. I'm trying to be positive here but my body & mind have shut down!
Good Luck to ALL!

Cyn
