Hello ladies! looks like this is the oldtimers thread :) its nice to see some familiar faces here, eventhough i am terrible with names and have a hard time holding on to that crucial information.

Franny - i am excited for your 2ww of PUPO and cant wait to see how it turns out! keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Katie99 - i am so bummed your last attempts havent worked. what is doc's plan for figuring out the "implantation issue"? what are the next steps?

To have fun - we have shared threads before - glad to see your baby boy is doing well and ou are ready for round #2! Keeping my fingers crosed that works right out of the gate! How many frozen embies do you have?

AFM, its pretty much all in my signature. i consider myself very lucky to be pregnant for 2nd time. Loking back it was a total of 3 fresh and 3 frozen cycles - which in the grand scheme of things - is not that bad - i'd say I got off pretty easy.
expecting a girl this time, and she is measuring smaller than my DS did, so my belly is smaller, too. i think.

we have 4 remaining 3day embies left from this last fresh cycle. assuming everything goes well with this pregnancy and we get to hold our beautiful baby girl in our arms - i cant help but think - how can i convince my husband to try the remaining embies. i brought it up with him a couple of times and didnt get anywhere. he said he wants to wait and see how 2 kids feel like before thinking about #3. which i understand - men are rational - and they dont want kids nearly as bad as women do. he tends to think 2 is perfect and 3 is too much. but after our infertility struggles - i came to appreciate and want kids so much that i have a hard time agreeing with him. i am totally getting ahead of myself - and it is probably my pregnancy hormones - but i so want to try our remaining 4 embies. my husband is a super nice guy - and most of the time he is indifferent about stuff and leaves the decision up to me. but with this one - i feel i'll have a battle on my hands. i sense he feels pretty strongly about no more kids after 2. now of course all of this is way too early - and god forbid i jinx myself with this kind of "planning" - i guess its just the pregnancy hormones and i cant seem to help myself but think how much i would love to give our remaining 4 embies a try. the chances are pretty slim actually of that working anyway - because we've never had 2 pregnancies from a single batch.

It's a early birthday trip for me!! woohoo!! I'm excited to get out of town, and keep my mind off of things. I'm also wicked excited to not be at work for 3 days! :D
I hope everyone has a great weekend, and keep the sticky dust coming!!

You are my hero... I've never been able to resist the stick. Other than my lower back hurting and being tired... I feel nothing as well and this seems a little surreal. Have a great early birthday trip!

Hey ladies,

Katie its great to see you are going to use up your remaining frosties i too couldnt just give them away (though in Ireland you cant do that you just have to destroy them) you would always be wondering . Mam is always asking for you and commends your determintion to getting Ryan a sibling ...ivf is not for the faint hearted!!!! hmmm yeah would not bring a toddler to a 3 hr appt hell Kayla wouldnt last 3 minutes!!!

Franny hows PUPO going???? I never read into any of symptoms for pregnancy as i can tell you i have been pregnant 3 times and they were All like getting a period. Enjoy the beach boys xxx

Lyd i have been following your journey and great to see you are pregnant again, i agree dont think men realise how much we want babies and going thro. infertility makes us realise how precious they are and what a gift, i can totally understand you wanting to use up your remaining embies, when jason and i transfered to our last clinic we signed All left over frozen embies to me so technically they are mine, now i cant ever imagine jason and i splitting up (we are together 15 yrs) but you never know plus even if he didnt want to do ivf again it isnt his choice, may sound selfish but this is what we both agreed on. Now since we only have 3 remaining and doing ivf again in Sept there isnt an issue..... thankfully!!! Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy its such precious times xxxx

Sonya AHHHH i cant believe you have a 2nd line already....scary ha ha. I just love your poas addiction now i do remember what you have been thro. with blighted ovums sp? and know until you see your baby you wont relax but for the moment its all going according to plan.

Today is Fathers Day in Ireland and Kayla got Jason some vouchers he can "cash in " for eg. a big hug, breakfast in bed etc. i let him have a lie in this morning only to get a text from him cashing in a cup of tea!!! I made sure he handed over the voucher thing is cant bloody remember how many he go  though he doesnt know i tore out the ones requesting his car washed :D :D :D

GI - thanks for your words. that's cool that your embies now require only your signature. i am pretty sure our embies would require both of ours. in any case i dont think i would want to breach the trust of my DH this way. that would be a big change in our current relationship which is pretty darn good right now.

Sonya - i had an early BFP like yours with this pregnancy and my beta came in at over 200. it ended up being twins :) except one didnt make it at 7 weeks :( . with such an early BFP there is a good chance two embrios took in there! how exciting!!!!

Franny - i hope you are having a good vacation and enjoying yoruself.

AFM - We'll see maybe my DH will come around in teh future. we had another talk about the frozen embies and i've been thinking about it - he is probably right to see what 2 kids feel like. and if i can go from 2 to 3 ( assuming that is even possible with the 4 frosties we have) without increasing his obligations too much - so that his work load pretty much stays the same - then i think i might have a chance. i mean the work/reward equation is different for men then women. i can handle a lot more pain and work that goes with raising children because i get a lot more emotional reward out of it. so , i am thinking if i could go from 2 kids to 3 kids without changing his workload too much - than he would probably be indifferent and let me decide if that's something i want to do. that would be ideal! in any case - i am getting way ahead of myself. in my experience reality always turns out differently than any of my plans. so god forbit, my little girl is born prematurely or with any deffect or anything like that - because that would just be an aweful twist for the fate to throw in my direction - as a payback for doing too much planning and anticipating ahead of myself. for now i shall just focus on my little one to come and make sure all is well with her! here is hoping!

my work has been unusually slow - which gives me time to exercise 4 days a week which is really nice. as well as cook nice meals for my family.

Ok I'm totally freaking out. I feel nothing! Tomorrow is my birthday, and I'm going to get a massage, and hopefully chill out. This weekend was awesome, and a great distraction. Tomorrow will be nice and calm, and then Barry is taking me to dinner. After that I make no promises on staying out of crazy town. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday a  re going to be long long days. Ok I'm typing on my phone and it just added an eye roll in the middle of my sentence, and it won't let me delete it. Haha. It just makes me look crazier then I am. I'm off to bed...I'm going to be old in the morning. Love to you all! Xoxo

Franny so you have entered crazy town ha ha you lasted longer than me i usaully end up there on day 2!!!! I know easy to say dont stress about symptoms but bar period type pains i had no pregnancy symptoms i think i did 11 tests in total, not even sore boobs, ms, nothing!!! Happy birthday tomorrow xxx oh and kayla and i lit that candle for you xx

Lyd its great you and dh have a wonderful relationship jason and i are so close too and it really helps when doing ivf, i think you will know after having 2 kids if you want more, i have to admit 2 would be enough for me (though twins would be ok!!) as financially we couldnt afford more esp. if i want to just stay doing a 3 day work week!!!

Sonya i hope its just a faulty test, on Kaylas pregnancy depending on how much water i drank the test varied in shade so fingers crossed xxx

Franny - Be happy in crazytown.. I think you should just POAS to drive you even more crazy. When is your beta? FX'd

Sonya - I am thinking your first test might have been a fluke maybe a bleed over or something. It was very very early to get a positive. I don't know if i have ever seen someone get a positive that early. Its only day 10 so you have plenty of time to have this work. I wouldn't give up yet. When is your beta? FX'd for you too!!!

AFM - Start lupron on Friday.. YIPPPEE.. then AF next week, not so much fun, sns and then 4th of jUly and then not too far after that transfer. Wish i was having my transfer the week after 4th of July.  Transfer is scheduled for July 16th.
Work is driving me crazy. My company lost our contract to Lockheed Martin. Now I am in limbo on what will happen next year. If i do get preggo I won't have short term disability saved up so i won't get paid for 6 weeks of maternity leave.. I don't know if i can add that into negotiations when i move over to Lockheed Martin or whatever contractor i end up with. This just sucks. No one knows what is going on now.. My company can protest and still end up with the contract but that is a long shot. its going to be a long couple of months. I thought about delaying my transfer but really that would do no good. I would have to be with the new company a year before i get any short term disability. Though I might then have more infertilty insurance to cover my FET.. I am turning 40 in august and just want to be done. too old to be messing with this crap.. :D :D
