Leora- Ugh your week sounds pretty much like mine crappy! I'm sorry about your car, (BTW How is Rosie?). Yikes the gas-line was cut off but why would they do that in the first place? Are you taking vitamins still, anything high in vitamin C will certainly help with scratchy throat. You take care of yourself so these emibabies can receive the best home. :D
As for my in laws, I am blessed with good ones who I can spend hours talking too. They are unlike any of my blood relatives! But when it comes to my inlaws I'm actually closer to them. We can tell them anything and I feel they actually listen. They understand why we're not waiting for dh to find another job to get our family going. They are very supportive willing to help us financially if we ever need them to, I don't know why it's so hard though to ask others for help, but we'll figure it all out. Can you actually believe this truly begins in less then two weeks? I'll start bcp around the 25th, baseline around July 13th and then ER will be around July 24th. In the mist of everything dh has a phone job interview with a college based in Decator Alabama on Monday. We have tons of family up there lol he could even crash at his brother's house if it came down to it!

Hopethisworks- Yes ma'am this little one is almost past the first trimester!

kala- Wow what a nightmare with the luggage at the airport, those things should ONLY happen in the movies! So when is Estimated Transfer? I'm placing your snowbabies in my prayers!

Ninde- I could easily get lost in a cave like that and never come out alive. This is why we have guided tours supposedly. How is the crusine?

WaitingKay- Your mom sounds wonderful and so supportive. There is something about a mother's comforting words that make everything ok. Maybe we'll even be cycling together this summer? Thanks and I know one way or another this program will help us find closure, if it doesn't work we take the refund and move forward with adoption. That's what I like most about this program is we would have a "timeline." Dh has been so peristant in reassuring me that we shouldn't hold off just because he's looking at possibly moving back to work in Alabama, which while I love living down in the panhandle it would be somewhat nice to be closer to family. I guess anything is possible as long as this IVF works before he accepts that job offer and I can move with him.

Julia- Wow already 14 weeks, like I said where does the time go? I know you are getting superexcited!

Kynlee- Counting down the days with you. I know we both stay so busy these days with 40 hr work weeks but at least it helps the time to really fly by and brings us closer to our BIG days coming up sooN!

AFM: Goodness what a crazzzzy week! I got into it with one of the part-time managers for not taking ownership with a return last weekend. I didn't understand why a coworker had to call me at home to get someone to help her when the manager should of been more hands on with the return. I found out there was no reason for them to call me at home on my off day. Then on Wednesday night I refused to give a customer full-price for a sweater that was purchased back in December. Our return policy is 60 days so I offered her current sales price which is a major price difference. She was lucky I even offered that but she was oblivious. Then last night I went to a different salon then I normally go through only because I had a 50% off coupon...HUGE mistake my hair turned orange and she had to get the manager over to help her I was there for 4.5 hours and when she finally got my hair looking somewhat better and asked if I wanted my hair trimmed, I seriously thought she was going to wack off my hair so I told her let's not cut tonight. I was so furious that I didn't tip her, I mean this experience taught me to never change hair stylist, never again even for a 50% coupon!

Ninde- TY hoping this cycle goes better then last... Sounds like you are having a great time :)

Christy- Yikes Orange hair, I get nervous getting my hair done I had one bad haircut and that did it for me I stopped going and started coloring my own hair and had a friend cut it for me, I finally got brave and went back to a new hairdresser last week after 9 years :) and I am glad I did LOVE my new cut and color :) Plus so much more relaxing then doing it myself... Our cycles are finally coming, hoping soon Ill be cheering you on :)

AFM- THis is the worse A/F i have ever had usually she stays for 4 days and goes away this time I am heavy and I am on day 5 :( could this be from the med they had me on to push a/f to come early??? Cant wait two more hours and I have the weekend ahead of me :) My friend is taking her daughter to my work in a few minutes so I can do her prom updo so that will take a hour away right off the bat so let the weekend begin :)

Hope – Happy everything is going well with your little one!

Ninde- Glad you are enjoying Sicily, it sounds fabulous, how could you not!

Kayla- I hope this cycle is it for you! You will be in your 2ww before you know it!

Leora – So stimming is going well and moving right along! How are you feeling?

Lauren- How are you doing? How are the PIO shots going, when are you done with those?

Kynlee- Definitely your period could be heavy due to the med, but at least you started your cycle!!

Ks_fofo – Hoping you had another good beta!

Sunshine – 6/25 will be here before you know it! I am actually leaving for the beach that day so I am looking forward to that date myself! My DH and I need some down time.

Watingkay – My DH works a ton too! I am home alone a lot on the weekends, but sometimes I actually enjoy the time to myself. I probably won’t see him for more than an hour until Monday night. So you started down regulation today?

AFM- A/F came yesterday, had my baseline, and all is good to go to start Estrace tomorrow morning.

Have a good weekend girls! ---- I am heading to NJ in the morning for a dress fitting then to a teahouse for lunch…. I don’t know, I have never been to a teahouse, my college roommate is getting married and I am a bridesmaid. Then to our lake house on Sunday for father’s day with my mom and sister.

Awww I don't like having a quiet house around here MUCH TOO quiet, but thoroughly enjoyed my inlaws coming for a visit. My MIL is so supportive on going ahead with the treatment esp when we have no idea what next year will bring. Dh has always been ambitious and he will find work. I think my biggest issue is solely depending on him for everything when I have never asked him for anything. It will be an adjustent that's all. Anyway tomorrow I'll talk with dh one last time, sign the agreement and we'll fax everything over to the IVF Attain Program. Most of all we have to remain calm and stress-free but my hopes are this will work out by next year in time before dh has to move. I'll post personals tonight..Off to work now! :D

Sonya - definitely a BFP! Wow - that's really really early. You didn't do a HCG booster shot or something? How many did you transfer? When is beta?

Gina - I'm sorry about the truck. That sucks. One of the reasons we bought a Japanese car here in Israel (a Mazda) is because we heard nightmare stories about the cost of parts for American cars shipped abroad. Apparently the Japanese are better with the cost of parts. Truth be told - when I went for our first inspection test (when the car was 2 years old), the inspector asked me to open the hood and after TWO YEARS of daily driving, I had no idea how to pop the hood! :D So I know really really NOTHING about cars!

Kala - Isn't medical care in the USA the pits? Amazing how much better things are when going to the dentist is only a pain in the teeth and not also the wallet! Are you track for transfer? Starting progesterone today? As it was explained to me, you start the progesterone at fake "ovulation" day and then would transfer day 5 embyros 5 days later (it's always a bit confusing which days count, so either 4 or 5 or 6 days after starting the progesterone - never been clear to me!). 3 days of progesterone before a day 5 transfer sounds strange...

Kynlee - I found out today (I really need to quit my FB addiction!) that someone else I know is pregnant with #2. Her #1 was concieved after we lost our first twins. I have another "friend" who just had her 3rd, and her first was due the same time as our first twins. I can't believe I'm not even pregnant again. UGH. I'm sorry.

Kay - my ILs don't understand that if they call to ask how the cycle is going, and I wasn't thinking about it at that moment, just the conversation that everything is going fine can bring me down, because it makes me start thinking about it again. We keep telling them that we'll tell them news when we have news (like we told them we did a cycle and it sucked after we got our BFN last time). But they want to "be involved" and "help" - but we keep telling them there is nothing they can do.

And my signature can't get much longer -- hopefully I'll just add a pregnancy ticker, then a "baby's first birthday" ticker!

Patricia - too bad your vacation is over today - I hope your trip back is nice! Post some pictures on FB - I want to see!

Christy - I'm glad your visit with your in-laws went well. We always find it so disruptive to have people in our house - even if we love them. I'm so excited that you start so soon!
Work called you at home on your day off? That sucks! Work has my cell phone number, which is fine, but no one ever calls me about work stuff (sometimes they'll call to say they are running late, can I make sure to be on time to open the office, or that we are out of milk, can I pick some up on my way in, etc). Someone here asked if I wanted them to set up my (personal) smartphone to get work emails - ummm... no thanks! :D
Sorry about your hair! Ugh - that sucks!

MadameX - hurray for starting estrace! When is your next check up to check the lining?

AFM - check up this morning - still waiting for blood test results. I'm trying not to think too much about things. Lots of follicles, approx 10-12mm. Weird thing is my lining has gotten smaller (!) from 12 to 8mm. Weird. I'll ask my doctor, but try not to worry.

Oooooo - I just want to finish this already! Hopefully ER in about a week!

also - thanks to all who asked - Rosie is doing okay - this chemical pregnancy sucked. She left for a year in Canada (her husband is doing a specialized residency in a hospital there, and she's continuing to work on her doctorate in a lab there) and they've decided they aren't waiting a year to cycle again, so they'll be cycling there.

Leora- sounds good! Com' on let this be the ONE... :D You know I'll be praying!

Kynlee- So true it's hard to trust just anyone when it comes to hair. But thankfuly salon manager who was out of town is now back and I can trust her. Your weekend sounds busy making time fly by. How are you doing overall?

DandMe- There is a faint line that hopefully continues to get darker, so cannot wait to hear your beta results! Are you and dh using your own or donor? I cried this morning thinking I might need donor eggs as I read the contract asking if we wanted to elect donor eggs. I turned to dh and said I am so scared feeling I'm getting old. I couldn't make a decision which way I wanted to go so I put the contract away for now. It's scary when we 've been down this road once before and it broke our hearts. What if we go through 6 cycles with zero results, and we are dying for two kids how would we ever be able to afford a loan for another round if this works. I'm just overwhelmed I guess.

AFM: DH has a phone job interview in Decator, Alabama tomorrow morning, thinking we might need to postpone our IVF for 28 days in case we have to relocate, I need advice as I am so torn about what to do. Maybe I'll wait to see how his job interview goes tomorrow but I cannot keep waiting. I'm tired of putting this off, but it would kill me if we are separated due to his job.

Hey ladies

Christy: orange hair, really?!! That's awful. How is it now?hmm that's a toughie about dh. When does the job startt? Would you have to relocate really quickly?

Kynlee: ouch, af sounds pretty horrible. How was your weekend?

Madam x: how was your bridesmaids' tea?

danandme: yay, that's looking good :D How are you feeling?

Leora: that's sounding great! How are you feeling?will post photos when dh wades through them and I'll put them up on facebook

Everyone else: see my earlier posts to you :D

Afm: home and back to work tomorrow. I had the best time, my body is relaxed and with all the walking and swimming (and not eating between meals!!) I have actually lost a couple of pounds :-)

Ninde- Sounds like Sicily was more then a vacation, hopefully you'll post us some fabulous pictures! As for my hair, it looks a little strawberry blond on top but at least she neutralized it and it's no longer carrot orange. Dh really wanted me to take a picture that night. Tomorrow evening I have an appt with the salon manager for highlights and an actual haircut and she told me there will be no charge. She couldn't believe this new stylist took 4.5 hours to do my hair, much too long. So we have learned coupons is not always the best way to go when it comes to our hair.

Sports and exercise no matter what, is good therapy. I just got back from playing volleyball, got alot of stress out hitting the ball with dh and 8 guys I barely knew but got to be on dh's opposing side so that was fun. :P As for dh, his job would start the second week in August if he took it. He feels like the IVF clinic would need me more then him for the most part  he is right, he could fly down to contribute his part lol and once this finally worked we could sell the house and pack everything up...That seems overwhelming just thinking about it. Question is what would we even do with our frosties if this actually worked? Could they mail them safely to Alabama? lol I'm already worried about my future frostie babies, am I getting too carried away? We will see how tomorrow goes with dh's job interview to determine our next move. Our contract would be nontransferable with other clinics but I'm having trouble getting everything pulled together right now as I feel a month would buy us more time. I cried so much this morning over the contract reading it in detail asking if we wanted to elect to use donor embryos. Overwhelmed I didn't even get passed the first page. I had very little sleep from the night before so I took this so personal and threw the contract on top of the cabinet, telling dh I am so scared that I cannot think about any of this right now. A month would buy us a little more time with dh's job but I know it would also put this on the back burner if we get stuck trying to sell the house. I really need dh to stay here and tell me everything is going to be just fine. I'm just feeling so much uncertainty right now and need some answers. Even my MIL knows everything and she's advising us that I shouldn't wait that he will find work but a woman's body can only reproduce for so long. Apparently my MIL doesn't realize women today are having babies in their late 30's and 40's when she tells me my window is growing small. It's just the way most women think who had kids much younger so I didn't take offense to that. They don't realize women today are waiting to have families so they can have a career and become a little stable. Truth is I regreted that we waited so long, so now we have to make something happen. I'm tired of trying to figure it all out, so we'll see how everything goes tomorrow with dh's interview.

It sounds like you have a lot on your mind - I guess if we were friends IRL I'd tell you to just take it a day at a time, and gather information. Do you need donor eggs? What were the numbers like for your first? At 35 most women are doing okay with the egg department unless there are other factors. You've only done one IVF, in my mind, when we started, I know it might be more than one kick at the can, and it is for a vast many people. It took two fresh cycles and a FET to get Brogan - I don't even remember how many IUI's... but they only take your chances up about 5% so don't be counting those as failures. We had to cycle 800 miles away from home. I stayed near the clinic when I had to, my DH flew down for his contribution. We did the FET with our current try and I took all my meds and monitoring in my home town, then flew down for the transfer last Wednesday, and back the next day.

I hope you get things sorted out - you have a lot to think about! ((hugs))
