Sunshine-I know how hard it is to focus on IVF when there is so much other stuff going on in your life. If money is an issue and this may be your last shot, I would get your DH's job in order and relocate if needed, then focus on making babies. Good luck to DH. It will happen for you! Did your RE suggest donor eggs? it looks like you have only did 1 round of IVF. why donor eggs? Im glad your hair is getting better. Also, my Bday- Kala (Sarah) is July 4th. thanks!

Leora-yes, it is nice to have free and good medical care. The US is getting better though. I went to the gyno and it was free now under OBAMACARE. Thanks for the Rosie update, hopefully we will see her back on here for her canada cycle. I think I did my math wrong. I started progesterone on the 16th, so i will have almost 5 days of progesterone before the transfer. Im not sure if my embies will be 5 or 6 days for transfer if they defrost happily.

AFM-Today we are on a hunt for progesterone. DH's friend who is a pharmasist said there is a shortage in town. So we are going to another town, Novi Sad to try and find some. DH also has basketball practice this evening. It is good he can stay active here. Tomorrow they will start defrosting our frosties, i pray they look good. My mom actually joked about them putting the embies in the microwave on defrost. Not funny! I hope everyone has a great week!

Help Please!! what the hell am I talking about! Leora knows more about my plan than I do. I just checked the plan my RE gave me. So she wanted me to stop Lupron on the 16th and start progesterone on the 17th for a transfer on 20th. That would only give me almost 4 days on progesterone for my 5 day embies. I called RE Friday and never heard back. Then I got confused and stopped Lupron on the 15 and started progesterone on the 16 which would give me almost 5 days on it for the transfer. Do ya'll think this is okay??? It should be better to be on progestorone for almost 5 days right? Thanks!

kala0704 - we get our progesterone mail ordered. It arrives in 2 days after ordering. Defintely talk to your RE to find out what you should do ASAP!!!

Here is my update - I've had terrible migraines for the past 3 days. I've beent taking tylenol as instructed by my doctor. Sometimes, a cold compress on my forehead helps. I guess this is just a symptom of being pregnant or maybe it's because my doctor is scaling me back off of the prednisone and Lovenox.

Go for an other US today and the hunt begins for a regular OB/GYN who can take us the rest of the way there. Wish me luck today girls

Sonya - how was today's stick?

Christy - they write everything in those darn papers. I cried when I had to sign all the "I understand the risks of multiples" paperwork the last time around - sheesh. I think that *I* more than almost anyone understand the risk of multpiles! Not to mention my disappointment that just 1 egg had fertilized. Sometimes they put that stuff in to cover their own butts -- the RE hasn't said anything to you about DE, right? Look - everytime you do this, you have to sign the stupid "I agree to anesthesia even though it could kill" me stuff. I think the DE stuff in your paperwork was just their own coverage. You don't have anything indicating you need donor eggs ---- and even if you did need DE, that would be hard to accept, but still - you could have a baby!

I wouldn't wait if I was you - having a baby is more important than anything else. Of course, if you were 16 or whatever, fine-wait until you are a bit more settled, but at this point - things are going to keep popping up. You can't wait until everything is "right", becuase not everything will ever be "right". That's just life. I got fired in the middle of our cycle with the boys last February (between ER and ET). We discussed freezing all our embryos and waiting to do a FET until I had a job again - but we decided that having a baby was more important to us and we were willing to take the risk. I did get pregnant, and we handled it.

I hope the job interview goes well!

Patricia - LOST weight on vacation?!?! You'll have to teach me how!

Kala - July 4th birthday? All those fireworks are for you? My husband has a different problem - his birthday is Sept 11. He keeps trying to point out that it was his birthday first, in any case - he didn't pick it!
I think you should be fine, but CALL YOUR RE!

HopeThisWorksM - I'm sorry about the migraines. Some people get them while pregnant. How many weeks are you?

AFM - sooooo nervous about tomorrow's SnS -- I really hope everything is on track for ER either Friday or Sunday. I'm so sick of this part! Crazy that I'm LOOKING FORWARD to the 2ww, huh?

Hey all! I have been stalking while we were taking a break and trying to figure out our next steps. We are getting closer niw. We borrowed money and are moving forward with a donor egg cycle. We are currently deciding between 2 donors and I have a saline hyst on thursday to make sure I have no polyps. If I don't have any, then we might be able to start the cycle in the next month. I should know more after my procedure on thursday. You guys have a great one today. Laura

Leora- Glad everything is looking good for you, your BFP is right around the corner... Did you end up buying that dress for the wedding? How is everything with the social worker?

Christy- I know you have alot of things to think about just take things day by day you dont want to stress before you get started, God has a plan for all of us... Just think positive & look ahead I am glad you will be starting soon.. The RE really only needs you so if DH is away you will still be able to do everything on your own, they already froze his swimmers right?

Ninde- I never had A/F so bad just ending today thats over a week But maybe that will make this cycle a better one for me who knows Glad you feel relaxed from being away, I need a mini vacation

Kala- My transfer will be the 29th if the lining looks good on the 24th... I am doing a 5day FET, hoping it works... This is 2 days early in timing then the last cycle not sure why but I am going with it I think if you tookt he progesterone a day early it should be ok Keep me posted

hopethisworks- Good luck today with your U/S and finding a good OB

AFM- My weekend flew by I go for my U/S Sunday which is 14 days past A/F and plan on getting transfer 19 days after A/F does that sound right? Last time I was 21 days past a/f when I was suppose to go for Transfer...Opinions please

Ninde – Thanks for saying I'm strong. I think I'm just hanging in there really, even if I am quite proud I took2 months off IF and actually made the best of it!
DH refuses to talk adoption and even said on 1 occasion he doesn't honestly think it's what I would want. No point arguing with him. Well done on the couple of pounds you lost – it does give a wonderful feeling, right? And well done for being able to relax and enjoy vacation.

Christy – yes, what you're saying about moms is so true. I didn't always have the closest easiest relationship with mine – yet I'm amazed at how much she seems to have my best interest and also how she copes with he hopes about a grandchild. I know you cycling alone even if DH will already be in Alabama is a totally private matter. All I can say of experience is that sometimes the being alone gives this extra strength you didn't realize you had! If it means cycling after a long wait I wish it for you badly. Any choice you make, I'm here! Btw, my Bday is October 4th. I'll be 36 in October, and I hate it!
I hope by now you got your dream hair. I had so many similar incidents, they suck each time.

Hi Kynlee – enjoy your hair cut! When doing a natural FET, RE must time the age at which the embies were frozen, and your ovulation day which can vary from cycle to cycle sometimes. So if you had retrieval (considered like OD) on CD 15 when doing a fresh cycle, and the embies were frozen at 3 days post retrieval, then they do a FET on CD 18, if according to your LH and E2 levels you ovulate again on CD 15 this cycle. Good luck, I've seen many positives with fets, also twins!

AFM - Had some bad right side chest pain on Saturday. Any of you had the same right after starting with the down regulation? It was very intense and lasted for about 2 hours!

waitingkay- TY for the response I actually have 5 day frozen I usually ovulate about 16 days which would then be 21 days right? Confused on why I am going on day 19 for tranfer, should i question it? Was the side affects you had from the meds? I dont see any info under your name so I dont know your status to answer your question not that I know much lol... Hope you are feeling better today...

Kynlee - I didn't understand, you mean you can't see my signature from some reason? It's a long one. Anyhow - I started Decapeptyl on Friday (my 5th fresh IVF try) and Saturday just when we had lunch at my ILs, I started having this chest pain. It was sharp and intense, then faded but returned and stayed for about 2 more hours!
Do you remember when you had your retrieval? because there are several possibilities as I see it:
- Your retrieval when you had your fresh cycle was on CD 14 (my retrievals always were more or less CD 14, regardless of my natural ovulation time. Just due to response and follies' size).
- They froze the LOs on 3 days post retrieval, just in case you didn't have any left for a day 5 transfer
- A possible mistake, or are they putting you on some meds and it isn't a natural fet?

waitingkay- yes sorry I didnt see your signature, now I do... Maybe you were having a reaction to the med did you look it up online? Did you talk to a nurse about it today? Hope everything is ok... AFM My schedule is all over the place cause I had to stay on meds longer due to follies then had a 3 day transfer and then they ended up freezing 6 at 5 day and 3 at 3 day... I am thinking I should call them back to verify everything just to make sure... I am not doing a natural cycle its a medicated fet, I am on estrace and eventually on the progesterone shots... I just want everything to be right I hate questioning them but if it seems wrong I rather catch it now... it would only be 19 days past A/f would 2 days make a difference?

waitingkay- I did look up decapeptyl there are alot of side effects to that med so it may just be a side effect of some sort. I never was on that so I dont know for sure... I do no when I first started ivf in 2010 i had headaches from estrace or Lupron and I did not have that same effect on my later cycles... I would call a nurse just to verify... Or I am sure one of the other ladies may no Sorry I couldnt help...
