Hope everyone is having a good day!

Today is my last day of work for the school year. Tomorrow is just some meetings. I applied for summer school to make some extra money, I hope I get it!! Crazy I want to work, right?

Ninde- Hope you hip is feeling better, that burning/freezing sounds pretty painful. Did you take anything for it? My tea was nice, I had my first scone and it was surprising how good it was. However, they do serve it with this awesome cream and jam. I even brought 2 home for breakfast the next morning for my DH to try.

Cyn- I totally get how it is so frustrating not understanding why your embies are not implanting! Glad you are going to try to figure out what is going on. Your family trip to Maui sounds exciting. It is so beautiful there!

Hope- Glad all is progressing well! How exciting!

Sunshine- You have so much on your plate right now. You know the saying when it rains it pours? Hopefully the “sunshine” will be out soon. I am sure your grandmother knows how much you care about her and that you appreciated everything she has done for you. How was your DH’s job interview?

Maria- Happy belated shower day!!

Leora- Yay on the great u/s!! That is awesome news!! Can’t wait until Friday’s report

Knylee- I think I am transferring like CD 24? I have never done a frozen/donor cycle. I got A/F on 6/14 and not transferring anything till 7/7. Is this the norm?

AFM: Talked to the embryologist today. We are thawing my frozen 4 the day after the donor’s retrieval (July 3rd ish). 2 of them are PN’s which means, they divided once, and the other 2 didn’t divide yet and may not. We are going to do PDG for the fragile x on anything that may result in a BFP. If nothing looks good then we are canceling the PGD due to $$$ it is very expensive. Bumping up my estrace dosage tomorrow….

I am trying to stay more relaxed this cycle. I guess maybe b/c I am not doing a fresh cycle I don’t feel so much pressure. I stopped all my crazy vitamins (just taking prenatal, vit D & C and a calcium chew) and am still hitting the gym and making plans with friends. Last year at this time I was going through my 1st cycle and I didn’t even go to the end of school year party. Well it is that time again and I am going, I may even have a beer--- I am such a rebel --- hahaha.

Madamex- I am not really sure how the days go with transfering for a FET, but I talked to the nurse today and she said that 19 days past A/F is correct for me for 5day blast, I tried researching it but didnt come up with much. I think the meds we are on for the FET kind of help with not making you ovulate etc so we both should be fine... Best of Luck with this cycle, looks like we may be in the 2ww together

Not too much new. Looked at a lovely venue called the wisdom centre for a day I want to do on 'happiness in nov. Placing an advertisement next week I've presented before but always on behalf of organizations, this time its under my own steam

Thanks ladies for all the prayers. My grandmother's vitals improved overnight and she's now breathing on her own. By Friday she'll be transferred to Hospice if everything continues to go well. Her little body is worn out and as her doctors puts it- This all is up to our good Lord. I really appreciate your thoughts and prayers during this emotional time.

Dh's job interview went over well, he really thinks they'll call back but he only has 8 weeks until classes start back. He really doesn't want to have to go back to his job here after what they put him through but his pride isn't too high since they changed their minds and extended his contract but told him this is his last year. My store manager has the dm coming on Thursday, I hope one way or another to finally move forward (waiting since April). Right now I'm feeling alot of uncertainty. I do want to start IVF right away but the stress that comes with dh's situation wouldn't be good. I mean yes it would be great to take the risk so I could finally have a chance to be a mom, but at the same time maybe timing really is everything. So many nights I have trouble sleeping concerned about him and his job being cut, often I try to figure out where we could be relocating this time next year for employment. Yes I know he will find something, but I need to have some peace of mind in that he's ok. One month won't make that much of a difference, probably if I was so much in a hurry I would go ahead but looking at the overall picture makes me think God might have other life changing events for us right now.
Picking up AnnaBelle for a much needed beach day tomorrow.
I'll be back with personals as soon as I can breathe again.

Sunshine-I am so happy that your grandmother us doing better and breathing on her own. I will continue to pray for her. Keeping you and your lived ones in my prayers.

AFM-had another u/s yesterday. I was going to get some 3D photos but the girls were not in the mood to cooperate. I guess we will try again in 2 weeks. Next appt is on July 3rd. I felt pretty crappy yesterday. Chucked up all of my lunch. That's the second time this week that has happened. I actually fell asleep in the exam room yesterday waiting for the doctor. We are officially scheduled for delivery on September 4th. But, my OB doesn't think I'm going to make it to 38 weeks. He thinks it will be more like 36 weeks which would be sometime around my birthday. My body is starting to feel pretty beat up. I'm pretty tired at night, I'm having trouble eating, trouble sleeping, my back feels like it's going to snap, and I have been having a lot of the Braxton Hicks Contractions. But with all that said, i wouldn't change this for anything in the world

Please know that I am always thinking of you ladies and I pray that each of your dreams come true. Don't loose faith, miracles happen everyday. Sending you all much love...

Laura - welcome back! I hope the saline hyst goes well tomorrow! Let us know!

Kynlee - I bought the dress, but it's being custom made (never had that done before! Not even for my own wedding!) so it'll only get here in early July. I hate waiting! I think things are pretty flexible with what day you do your FET. Just trust your doctor and try to relax! I've had FETs anywhere from CD 19 to CD29 - depends on my lining, estrogen levels and doctor's availability!

Kay - people are always telling me I'm strong - but I don't feel strong. Some days, I can barely get out of bed and function. But I think after what I've been through, just getting to work in the morning is being "strong". I'm so glad you enjoyed your 2 month break. DH really wants to take a break from everything (the IVF and adoption), but I just find that I can't.
How long do you down-reg? When do you expect AF?

Patricia - I find I gain more weight when I'm not working, because I have so much more 'grazing' time. I really try not to eat at my desk at work at all, which I think helps a lot! When I'm on a good dieting binge - I make the rule of no eating in front of a screen (computer, TV, etc) and that helps a lot!

Cyn - I'm sorry, but sometimes there just isn't an answer why perfectly good embryos didn't make a baby. Crazy that you have a 3yo half-brother! I thank goodness everyday that I don't have half-siblings - what a mess! I have some step-siblings, but I didn't grow up with them and barely know them. Switching from treatments to adoption is a huge step - and it sounds like maybe your husband is ready to start down that path too - but it's totally normal if you aren't yet.

Christy - I'm glad to hear your grandmother is doing a bit better. Can you make the trip to visit, now that it's not as urgent?

MadameX - I know lots of teachers who look for summer work - you're not crazy! I would love to have summers off, but I also like having money all year round Is your husband also off in the summer, or just you? Crazy that it's been a year since you started - time seems so slow and so fast at the same time, no? Feels like you've been doing this IVF crap forever, but also like it was just yesterday that was your first cycle...

Maria - so glad things are going well!

AFM - well - I got my u/s and blood test results, but RE didn't have time to talk and said to call him back at 3pm (45 min from now). I usually inject at 2pm, but he said it's fine to wait an extra hour.

I really really really really hope I get an all clear to trigger! GAH!

oh - and as if life wasn't interesting enough.... I tripped on a step in the office today and sprained my ankle. UGH.

a car accident, a cold and a sprained ankle all within a week? how "lucky" am I?

Hey ladies, i just wanted to update yall. We transferred 2 embryos. Im on the couch and bed for 3 days. The RE said the embryos looked good and one had cleavage. I have everything crossed right now and just trying to relax. I promised everyone I will wait til monday to POAS. I pray they stick!

Ninde - Thank you. The courage I guess is having faith in a good outcome and shutting off negative suspicions it may not work... Yes, DH refuses to discuss adoption and on several occasions said it wasn't something he believed I honestly wanted. This is enough to make me start thinking if he's right? It's complicated. I forgot to tell you a while back that I enjoyed the Irish poem you posted.
Leora - Sometimes getting out of bed and doing the absolute most daily things is when our strength shows. You are right. I remember David wanted to take a break. I also used to hate taking breaks, like you. But forcing myself into it, made me face that I also have good things in my life for which I am thankful. So I managed to relax during these 2 months without nagging myself first of all about my age. Very happy that you are happy! And it sounds like a strong promising cycle. Back on the horse, for 9 months this time!
Sunshine - Happy your grandma is doing better, prayers sent.

AFM - I will probably down regulate until monday which is when I have BW and a meeting with RE. I expect to start stims on Tuesday, oh and of course AF this Friday. Fingers crossed!

Waiting kay: Im glad you like the poem, its a blessing and i think its lovely. You are right on banishing negativity. I really hope you start your triggers.

Afm: smear came back normal thankfully. But my amh egg reserve is on tne very low end. Its 5.07 which is down from 13 last year. Its in the same range as last year in that the low range is 3.07 - 15 but its clearly dropped a lot they said they are quite used to working with that and will push the stimming levels a bit higher.
