Three babies from two blastocysts!

Post by nicodimremus »

Hello,
I am from Romania and I would like to know the opinion of a specialist. Me and my wife just had a IFV. My wife had implanted olny two blastocysts (she is only 29 years old). That was 4 weeks ago. So, couple of days ago, she had her first exam, and our IFV doctor told us that we have 3 healthy "little kids". She said this is rather unusuall but it happens. Is is possible that from only two blastocyts to evolve three childrens?
I want to know other opinions....Have anyone heard before this type of story? Is it fine?
Please, i am deperately waiting for your answers!
