Afm: had dinner with the two other couples from our adoption course. They are further along than us as we are being held up with dh's MS. It was fine. Im doing a day tomorrow with 4 other women who have miscarried, its on soul loss and its the last piece of my work on the miscarriage last year and its also about preparing to welcome a new baby in.

Lauren319- You crack me up jam and cone! Other then your buttons popping off how are you feeling? I'll be thinking of you as I head to Alabama with dh on the 2nd. Keep us posted!

Leora- But still I wonder what they did differently this cycle that helped you respond better to the crazy meds?

Kynlee- How are you doing with the follies? AF came Friday afternoon. I need to call my clinic on Monday to find if they can check and see if my doctor has any clinics near Huntsville/Decator Alabama. I feel very good about dh's job interview next week (7.2) but scared at the same time that what IF he gets it??? I know kinda what it will be like, since the same exact thing happened 4 years ago when he got a job down here and we had to relocate from Georgia, but we did it all in 6 weeks! I don't know how long it will take to sell our house this time since the market is bad but I know I couldn't sell this one by myself since we live pretty far from town and not much traffic comes out this way. So I'll have to go through a realtor, plus I have 2 dogs so it may take some time before I could even get up there with dh. I need to be preparing myself but it's all bittersweet. Sweet because we would be living closer to family but bitter since I have worked so hard to get where I am and now putting everything on hold. Maybe someone could keep our furbabies for us while we prepared to relocate. Ok maybe I'm jumping ahead when I shouldn't be, dh has only been through one interview and this is his 2nd one with that college so he hasn't even been given an offer but what if?

Ninde- Please journalize on what you take back from the class tomorrow. So many of feel the heartache and I wish someone could take away the worry and fear of this happening again with the next pregnancy. It's so scary, personally I feel that peace of mind is robbed and I could only imagine the next pregnancy being on pins and needles. But I do know our support system is the best thing we have in place and talking about our simular experiences somehow helps. x

AFM: Sooo I'm having trouble gettting off on Saturday to go with dh for his interview, but might fly in on Sunday and have him pick me up at the airport. If all goes well I'll get to see my grandmother too, really hope so!

afm-last day of bedrest wooooo hoooooo! im acutally going to a picknic on the river with friends and DD of course so that will be nice this afternoon. DD birthday party is tomorrow, then we leave on wednesday. ill be so happy to be back home sweet home. i think im going to wait til tuesday to POAS. that will be 10 dpo.

Christy - hurray on finally getting the official promotion! I'm sorry that all this question about moving is coming up just as you were supposed to start your cycle... the IVF Attain thing - I understand that if you start at one clinic, you can't switch - but what if you start at a different clinic? Does the IVF Attain thing follow up? Can you move it to a different clinic if you end up moving? I hope the interviews go great and DH gets a great job

Kay - the black and blue marks are awful! I look like someone beat my stomach

Antonia - I hope things are going well with you!

Chris - you *forgot* you had to start your Lupron? You are crazy! Are you excited to schlep around needles and drugs and have to drop everything at injection time? This is the FUN part!

HopethisworksM - you still taking Lupron? So weird! I've never heard of that!

Sarah(Kala) - how are you holding up? you know, the bed rest isn't necessarily mandatory - but I understand wanting to do everything possible to make those embryos stick!

Kynlee - good luck today at your SnS - I hope you have a perfect lining!

Lauren - hurray! Isn't it great when they start to look a little like babies? I wouldn't worry too much about doing a CVS. Are you doing a Nuchal Translucency scan? Didn't you do PGD or something? So don't you already know the babies are chromosonally normal? How would a CVS help?

Lydia - we'll be transferring 1. I'm tempted to transfer 2, just because I can't stand the thought of a BFN - but we can NOT do twins again - so one at a time it is.

Julia - congrats on Team Blue!

MadameX - RE said he would call on day 3 (tomorrow) to discuss how the embryos were looking and if we wanted to transfer day 3 instead of day 5 - so no news today, but news tomorrow!

AFM - feeling a little numb - not sure why.

I went to look up my past cycles - always we had the same number of embryos on day 3 as had fertilized - and usually about half made it to blast - so I would guess we'll get 3-4 blasts out of this.

We'll be transferring 1 embryo. I'm tempted to transfer 2, but both DH and my RE refuse.

I get another update tomorrow (day 3) and hopefully we'll be on track for a transfer on Wednesday!

Leora - Congrats on 8 fertilized! I hope you'll be positively surprised and even more than "just" 3 or 4 will make it to Wednesday!
Kynlee -How did your lining check go?
Sunshine - I do NOT envy you right now. These could all be good things happening in your life but the timing and the uncertainty can not be easy especially when thinking of you trying again. I also completely understand the bitter/sweet emotions around moving back. The only help I can offer is that normally much faster than anticipated things fall into place and the not knowing is always the hardest. You are going to make a great mom one day - look how you are already taking such good care of the dogs.
Ninde - Are you going to have more IVF tries now that you looking into adoption? Can I ask you how you managed to approach the subject of adoption with DH? It seems like when I have a bit of courage to discuss it, it vanishes when DH denies talking about it altogether.
Kala - Yay for being done with bed rest! How many days have you rested? Enjoy your time by the lake, think positive and especially come back home safe and pregnant!
Julia - So happy to hear about the house, and "having" to buy furniture and make the nursery! So sweet to have all these good things happen to you at once. It is so wonderful to hear of other women who have waited so long and now got their wish! Enjoy every moment of it

AFM - Help needed! I'm totally hormonal, like really became a monster to hubby during the weekend now AF decided not to show up! Just like that! I started downregulating on Friday the 15th, and AF was supposed to be here Friday/Sat. Nada! RE said to continue the same for now, I should see him tomorrow after I do the BW. AF is normally right on time, and I really feel like I'm so tired of having more delays and or complications!

I was about to walk out the door to head into work when the phone rang, my brother called to tell me granny passed away this morning. So completely heartbroken that I missed the opportunity to see her one last time. My brothers had an opportunity to see her and said she looked like she lost 20 pounds with her head propped up. She had demensia and was talking about Papa's red truck from 30 yrs ago and childhood memories from the great depression saying this world isn't safe and she was even scared of people passing by in the hallway, and so she wasn't recognizing anybody that visited. They told me it would of been hard for me to see her that way. I called my boss to tell her I won't be coming in today. I cried so hard when my brother called Trying to hold myself together but I'm not ready to let go right now.

Oh Christy - I'm so so sorry for your loss.
I don't know what to say, and maybe your brother is right when he says it would have been too tough for you to watch her like that. I just feel like it's so unfair that on top of everything else you now have to deal with this grief, and missing her. I often think of my grandma and she's still missed now, 17 years after she passed away. My heart goes to you. Stay strong.

Sunshine-I am so terribly sorry about your grandmother. I know your heart is broken and that nothing anyone can say will take the pain your feeling away. Please know that she is in good place with our Lord and with those family members that have passed before her. I know there is little comfort right now but know that she loves you and us now watching over you. Please know that i am here for you and that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
