Hi all

We - I love the pic - nice belly :) Sounds like you had a great time at your shower.

Anna - I can imagine that you must feel knackered dealing with a little one and being pregnant. I too felt a couple of flutters last week. Wasn't sure whether it was wind at first as I've had my fair share of that. Your scan pic looks very similar to mine. :)

Kbillsy - not long now. Wow, must have been exciting when your doc said it could be anytime from now.

Tuffy - lovely to hear from you. I imagine life is pretty full on for you at the moment.

We - well done passing the 3 hr test.

Ker - how did you go with the 3 hour?

AFM - still feeling pretty tired but a little less nauseous although I nearly threw up trying to empty the wiffy rubbish this afternoon. Blurk! Less than two weeks before I have my 16 wk scan. I'm terrified about it and trying not to get too stressed. Work has been really stressful so I'm trying to keep my cool. DH and I haven't told our parents yet. We were going to after 12 wk scan but never quite got around to it. Not we're not far off finding out whether our baby has MGS or not so I think we'll just wait till then. Hopefully it will be good news. I will be so relieved if it is and will finally relax (a little) and enjoy this pregnancy.

Hi Everyone

Some of you saw already on facebook, but my girls arrived on June 2!! The birth story is uneventful -- baby b had been breach the whole pregnancy so we knew it was c-section going in. I woke up about 3:30 am on June 2 and had to pee. As I got back into bed, I felt a gush of fluid. And then another, and I knew my water had broke. So we headed into the hospital and called my OB. My girls were delivered via c-section at 7:25 and 7:27. What an emotional moment as I lay there waiting to hear their first cries. I still burst into tears thinking about it! After I was taken to recovery, my DH joined me a bit later and then we decided to them Harper Elyse and Finley Rose.

They were born at 36 weeks and 6 days and were very healthy. The went for observation for a couple hours in the nursery but then joined my in my room. Breastfeeding has been challenging as they are lazy at the breast and constantly falling asleep. As a result, my supply is not great and we have had to supplement with formula. I was disappointed but have talked to many twin moms who have had to do the same, so I feel a bit better!

I knew twins would be a lot of work, but wow I did not know what I was in for, lol. But they are so worth it!!

Here is a picture from their birth day. I will try to get some others uploaded soon!!

They are so beautiful! Great job mama! So perfect...

What were their birth weights? They look to be good sized newborns.

I hope everyone is doing well today. Unfortunately, I am not feeling well today. I was driving the kids to summer camp and became very short of breat, had severe palpitations, and became very light headed. I felt so bad that there was no way for me to make it to work. I've also been having a lot of Braxton Hicks Contractions. I spoke to the nurse, we think it may be my Anemia acting up again. Waiting for the doctor to call.

We-- That sounds awful! I get heart palpitations too but I don't have Anemia. They have to be the worst feeling in the world especially when they make you dizzy and light headed. I hope they can give you something to stop them or at least help them calm a bit.

Bodie- Congrats on the twins they are beautiful!

AFM- Haven't updated in a while, I am now 37 weeks. I am officially on maternity leave and bored out of my mind on day 2. I am trying to find things to do around the house but unfortunately I am lacking motivation AND energy. I am just really excited to meet Landon in a few weeks. My OB is inducing me around 39 weeks so that is either July 9th or 10th (if he keeps his word) =]

Hope you all have a great week!!

Hi all - I'm back home and have some free time so I figured I would do a quick update.

Bodie - The girls are adorable and look so peaceful!!! I love their names! Sounds like all in all things went fairly smoothly and quickly in the hospital - I really hope for something similar!

Kerpupples - congrats on passing your 3 hour test and on deciding on names! I really like the name Audrey! I work from home and I really do think it has helped me keep these babies cookin' longer - most of the time I'm lounging with my feet up and my laptop next to me.

Annashope - yay for 2nd trimester and for baby BOY!! Take it easy on your back - although I know you probably don't have too much of a choice when Paul is only 10 months old! Is he close to walking? When is the next time you go back to the doctor?

We - Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. I agree with you on the exhaustion these days! Wow, you can definitley tell there are 2 in there! People these days keep looking at me like I should be in the hospital. I've heard the 'you look like you're about to pop' comment at least 5 times in the last week :)

Tess - glad to hear you are almost to 16 weeks so you can have confirmation that your bean is perfectly healthy and some wonderful news to share with your family!

Jen - You are ALMOST there - he will be here before you know it! I've been trying to avoid going on official leave yet for fear of boredom. I wouldn't mind it for a few days but am really want to avoid a few weeks of leave before the babies arrive.

AFM - Things are going pretty well this week - I'm feeling MUCH better with the heat and humidity down compared to last week! Still very tired and constantly low energy. I got to spend some time in the hospital last week with my sister while she was having her baby. The nurses were all confused and thinking I was the patient :) Once they got the full story they were trying to take care of me too even though I wasn't their patient - they were so sweet! I hope my nurses are as nice as they were!! My new niece is adorable - she is a good sleeper and a good eater so far! Unfortunately my sister's epidural got screwed up - they had to do it 3 times to get it right so she has had a lot of pain and follow up procedures to fix that. But both baby and mama are now home and doing well. I wish I lived closer so I could see them all of the time but I needed to get back to my own house and get things in order before my babies arrive! I went to the dr this am and there were no major issues - my blood pressure is a bit elevated compared to where it normally is so they want to keep an eye on it. I go back on Monday for an u/s. My goal has been to have July babies so I am almost there!!

kbillsby - i cant believe you are 33 weeks with triplets. that is amazing! you have one strong uterus.

AFM - i am at week 30. since this is my 2nd pregnancy i was told to expect that things would happen faster than with the first. i felt movement sooner - i also feel way more movement than with the 1st. and 2 days ago i felt Braxton Hicks and cramps - which scared me! but both went away the next day - so hopefully i am good to go to week 39!!!

kbillsby: Wow! You are doing amazing! Congrats on such a healthy (and long) triplet pregnancy!

AFM: I saw the specialist and they didn't measure the baby this week but said that if I don't deliver by 39 weeks, they'll induce me (awesome, I don't mind induction). However, he said that he doubts that we'll have that conversation as he's pretty confident that I'll go into labor on my own before that. He also confirmed what I figured - the baby has dropped seriously low.

With a large baby and extra fluid, this pregnancy has been pretty tough and it's exciting to know that we'll be meeting Travis soon. It's also exciting to hear a doctor say that I'll probably go into labor on my own. With Brooke, I was induced so I didn't experience spontaneous labor which seems exciting and scary at the same time.

I start my cervix checks next week, we're hoping that my cervix holds out until at least 37 weeks to give his lungs time to mature.

Thanks all! I'm glad the babies are doing so well but they are really starting to get a bit uncomfortable - I am looking forward to being able to sleep again someday soon :)

Today's weigh in:
Baby A: 6lb 1oz - he is in the 90% percentile for overall size and in the top 97% percentile for head and stomach!!!
Baby B: 4lb 5oz - the little lady
Baby C: 4lb 7oz

Next appointment is not until 7/11 - assuming I make it that far! Blood pressure is back to normal so they don't have any concerns at this point. I'm hoping to make it another week or so - would be good to get B and C up closer to 5 lbs. I'm now staying up with my mom so I am closer to the hospital... just in case!

Bodie - how are you and the girls doing?

Hi everybody!

Just thought I would check in and let you all know that I got my induction date today! Landon will be induced on 7-10-12 at 5:15PM and likely born on 7-11-12. Really excited and cannot believe this baby will be in my arms in about a week.

Hope you are all doing well!
