still sick :(

got zofran, which kinda works, but gives me horrible headaches. I feel horrible for complaining because I obviously know what it feels like to want this so badly, but I'm having a really rough go of it.

ks-fofo - how many did you transfer? Congrats on triplets - but that's pretty scary, no? Another woman here is carrying triplets - she is about 33 weeks and doing great - so it can be okay!

Dys - That sucks! I'm sorry! Why did they need you to ovulate? I'm PCO and don't ovulate at all on my own, so I've never taken Lupron (no 'regular cycle' to suppress) - why do they want you to ovulate? Did the us/bw show you are close to ovulating at least? Good luck tomorrow!

Cyn - that's so interesting about a 'cold uterus'. I saw a TCM/accupuncurist for a while - it's very interesting stuff.

Patricia - that's so great that the social workers want to meet with you! Good luck! It's so scary though, no? That they are coming to judge your life? There are two "red flags" in our file (1) we both take antidpressants, which is considered a "mental health issue" and (2) I suffered physical abuse from my dad when I was a kid (the number one indicator of whether or not someone will abuse their own kids is if they were abused. It's very hereditary, and that scares me, but I'm reassured by knowing that because it scares me so much, I'll never be even a little violent with my kids). We don't think taht EITHER of those things makes us "unfit" parents.... we cleaned EVERYTHING before they came over - and in the end, she didn't even care! We sat and talked at the dining room table, and then when we were done, she got up to leave. We said "oh, you don't want to see the rest of the apartment?" We had cleaned under the bed, behind the doors, windows, closets, etc! So she peeked around and said "looks nice!" (I guess she could tell from our dining/living room that we take care of our house)

Nicole - any plans for changing this next cycle? You seem to be GETTING pregnant with the IVF -- now you have to STAY pregnant! Fingers crossed for you! Will you start the BCP now?

Lauren - I'm sorry you are so sick. I know you are happy - but miserable at the same time -- been there, done that! And whenever I would complain about being so sick (which is NOT a normal woman's experience), people would say "but you wanted to get pregnant so badly"... yeah, I know. But being sick is still miserable! People have a hard time understanding that, YES, we have worked so hard to get pregnant/have kids, but there are still unpleasant parts! I'm not "looking forward" to waking up in the middle of the night with an infant, but I would kill for that chance! Kind of a weird thing.

AFM - I can't find out if any got frozen until Sunday. Oh well.

Just plodding along. 2dp4dt... 5 days until POAS.

Hi Ladies, I started taking Lupron last night. This is going to be my second IVF.
I am 29 and already had 2 artificial inseminations, 1 IVF and 1 FET, still no baby. My husband had only 4% or normal sperm(20 million). After months going to a NAturopath, his sperm is finally much better (10% - 200+million) , so I decided to try again.
Any of you dealing with abnormal sperm and had success?
Thank you and good luck!
Me: 31-PCOS, endometriosis, adhesions, abnormal blood flow to the uterus, rare cystic fibrosis mutation)
DH: 43-1% normal sperm

Lauren- are you feeling sick 24/7? You are close to starting your second trimester hopefully the sickness will subside!

Leora- hopefully you will get some frosties, right along with a bfp!

ks- congrats x's 3 - how exciting!

Kynlee- good luck with your u/s tom!

Kay- yay for a/f, did you get started?

Blue- do you know when your app with your RE is yet?

Pocos- does your clinic do icsi to pick out what seems to be optional sperm?

I'm sure I left some out, it's kinda hard posting via android. I got a call yesterday from one of the nurses said everything worth the donor looks great. I have an u/s and b/w sch for tomorrow and will get another donor update as well. I'm afraid yo ask for the follicle count, do you think I should ask? Also sry if TMI.... But I had this clump of mucus discharge, could be from the estrogen pills? And cramping?

Evening ladies :D
Nicole: oh I know, this bloody publicity around the Osbournes is more than annoying. Mind you I heard jack speak and he was very level headed so hopefully drama queen Sharon will back off. How are your migraines?

Maria: I hope you continue to feel well x I wonder how I can post the recordings here

Leora: thanks, it is great. We do 7 meetings with her, then she prepares a report, then that goes forward apparently. And please dont worry about physical abuse being hereditary - I do a lot of work in this area and i promise you its not hereditary or genetic or anything like that - honestly that's just not true. Absolutely some who have been abused physically, sexually or emotionally can go onto abuse but its actually a much smaller percentage than the myth that was put out there that those who abuse were always abused themselves or that those who have been abused will or stand a very high chance of going on to abuse is that - a myth. There are so many reasons why people do but i can stand over this - being physically abused is not the number 1 reason or even a stong indicator that you will go onto abuse. I wish that could be put out there stronger because I can only imagine the pain and worry that has caused you. You will be a wonderful mother.

Lauren: feel free to complain! Its wonderful you ate pregnant but that doesn't mean you cant say how awful the symptoms are. I know others have tried the sickness bands - have you tried those?

Kynlee: oh the massage sounds lovely! If I cant post the recordings here I'll mail you if you give me your email address?

Pocos: welcome. My dh has very low sperm count due to ms and we got pregnant first time with icsi ivf. I miscarried but it is possible. As madam x says - have your clinic suggested it?

Madam x: I havnt ever had estrogen pills so im not sure about the discharge. Where are you in the cycle? And fantastic that donor is doing well. I would ask about the count :-)

Ninde: oh hip really acting up, must be all the driving.

Hi there! Can I crash this thread? I haven't been here in a few years. It now we're trying again for baby number 2. I'm 41 and hubby is 39 and we have an awesome little girl from 3 times of IVF. Since I'm older I'm on the flare cycle, which only takes 2 1/2 weeks so they are looking at egg retrieval around the 8th or 9th of July and to transfer 3 day embryos. I hope you don't mind that I crashed your thread. I look forward to getting to know you all.

Oh-how do you update the info at the bottom? I need

If you did an antagonist protocol, will you share what it entails? Last time I did a fresh cycle I did the lupron.

Madamex- how is your donor doing? Did you get her Follie count?

AFM- Went for U/S everything was looking good I was at a 7 for the lining so the nurse said most likely ill start the progesterone tonight :( not looking forward to that, still so scared over it... DH gets home from his work trip tonight cant wait to see him but what a welcome gift of him having to do this shot tonight, I think I may be more nervous of him giving me the shot then I am of it hurting lol...

Madame X and Ninde: The clinic suggested ICSI on half of the eggs. We used ICSI on our first IVF too. I had 39 follicles but 12 eggs were retrieved, only 3 were mature. We had only 3 embryos and OHSS. We used the ganarelix protocol.

I switched clinics and now I am using the long lupron protocol. I hope I can have more mature eggs this time and no OHSS.

Any of you ladies had tons of follies but few mature eggs? I wonder what happened in this first cycle...
