AFM: Going out for a much needed pedi. and then much packing to do. I am just addicted to an auction on facebook that my friends from my hometown put together. Bidding on a silver cake knife set for my cousin's wedding awww now getting my oldest brother involved so he can keep bidding while I am away tomorrow, lol. I am so hooked and what better way to get rid of junk around the house? One girl posted 23 Vera Bradley purses that she and her mother collected over the years...I'm serious her husband said it looked like Vera Bradley threw up all over their couch, yep that's very appealing!

kynlee- I totally agree with you on the numbing cream...I'm addicted to the stuff. I have such a needle phobia, that I used it even for my stomach shots, all 3 cycles. But for the PIO, I added an ice pack to the mix as well. There were times when I fussed at my husband, asking him to hurry up, and he was already done....ha! The best way to make it so that it's not as sore afterwards, once the numbing wears off and the next day, is rub it right after. I know my DH enjoys that part

MadameX- So I'm really weirded out that your clinic wouldn't tell you the follie numbers, do you think it's because you were sharing or I wonder if they always don't tell? I've already made my clinic crazy making sure they get that I want to know everything, even when she pees....hehehehe, just kidding on that part. They said the only time they don't give me an update is on the first visit. I really love my nurse, so I let her know that I still want to know how the first appt is. We are waiting for my donor to start AF...... the sooner she starts, the sooner we are to beginning this cycle. I am excited for your upcoming transfer!

So I'm feeling defeated as I am only showing 3 follicles after 4 Days of stim. I got all teary at the doctor's office. I went to acupuncture which eased my stress and I'm praying that another follicle or two are hiding and show up on the ultrasound on Monday. I'm older so I knew I'd have less follies but still disappointed. Thanks for listening gals!

Tortillachip- I never had very many playing at 4 days, and they popped up closer to the end, and then there were always more eggs retrieved than what we thought even right before the trigger. Don't be too bummed, you are just starting.

so.... I'm a little crazy and POAS this morning - 5dp4dt. I've never gotten a BFP before "10 dpo" -- but I swear I think I see something! I have terrible 'line eyes' and often see things that aren't there - but what do you think? Not a clear line yet, but a darker smudge where the line should be.

Pocos - welcome! I'm so sorry your last cycle wasn't good. We are also doing this just because of male factor - and our last cycle SUCKED! (17 eggs, but only 1 fertilized!) I hope you get better results this time!

MadameX - that is weird that they won't tell you, but you'll know soon enough! Weird that they won't check you again though, but things should be fine. Go Steelers! I don't really understand football, but I know that when the Steelers are winning - my brothers are really happy!

Patricia - thanks so much for that reassurance. I know that I am soooo similar to my father, in personality, likes/dislikes, reactions to things, etc -so I'm a bit worried. But I just try to focus on how much I'm working to make sure that I'm NEVER like him in certain senses.

TortillaChips (Tia, right?) - welcome! Looks like you figure out how to change your signature, but if not, go to the upper left corner to "User Control Panel" - one of the tabs there is "edit signature" and you can change it there.

Nicole - I've done antagonist everytime, because I'm PCO and at risk to OHSS - with antagonist, since you don't take Lupron to suppress, you can take Lupron to trigger if you get too close to OHSS. I start with a baseline on CD2 or 3, then start stims. About 5-7 days of stims, then I start the Ganirelix/Cetrotide. 5-7 days of both stims and antagonist, then I trigger! Shorter than Lupron cycle! -- have you done Lupron in the past? What's the issue with MS and Lupron?

Chris - how's the Lurpon going?

Sarah - beware the blue-dye tests - they are more known for false positives. I would get a pink dye one and re-test -- but it looks good!

Christy - good luck to your DH tomorrow! Let us know how it goes. Moving is scary, but maybe this would be good for you - to be closer to family. Can your job move? I was worried about talking about needing time off for fertility treatments at my new job, but turns out that other women here have done IVF or other things and everyone is really udnerstanding. I think an interview might be too early to bring up what kind of health insurance comes with the job - but definitely should be negotiated if he gets offered the job!

Laura - how is your donor doing? Has she started yet?

Hi ladies

Christy: good idea to do something nice for yours

Tortilla: honestly, all isn't lost. I know its awful because everything is so closely monitored but my clinic let 6 or 7 days because the progress is slow in that first week. You have lots of time left and hopefully the little follicles now they will speed up. Try visualising them growing

Leora: I'm never great at seeing lines but I definately see something!Yay

Madame x: oh that's great its all happening I'm amazed they won't tell you about your donor though

LauraN: lol, your r clinic sound great.

Kynlee: oh that's good the cream worked

Afm: af arrived ed 5 days early!! I'll call clinic tomorrow but I think their cycle is Sunday to sat so I would imagine my retrieval week of Aug 20th will still be on. I think they might just down regulate me 4 or 5 extra days because they only do baseline.e scans on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I'll know more tomorrow

AFM-Those stupid blue + lines faded quick. I was feeling a little discouraged the last few days so I bought some FRER and here is this mornings POAS. I moved up my beta tomorrow!!! Fingers crossed this little one is sticking and growing!!!!!
