Hi all, just a quick post asking for prayer please. Had the afp test done on Friday. Ob called today saying the baby might have trisomy 18. Going in tomorrow for an ultrasound to calm me down and then a diagnostic one on Monday. I'm losing it.

Dear friends,
I asking for prayers tonight. I hadn't posted this but my uncle/godfather has been in and out of the hospital for the past month and a half. He is 93 years old. He is my father's brother. My father who passed in 1997 when I was only 22. We are a very close family and although my mother remarried she took my uncle in to live with her after he was no longer able to live alone about 2 years ago. My uncle is widowed and has no children so I am his healthcare proxy and make all health decisions for him. His sister, my aunt, who is 96 never married and never had children so I am also her healthcare proxy. About a month and a half ago my uncle fell at my mother's house and sustained multiple fractures. Since then he has been to Rehab and back to the hospital 5 times and has deteriorated tremendously. Now his heart is failing, only working at about 20-30%. Yesterday i signed DNR papers and today I placed him on hospice. I am asking for prayers tonight. Please ask God to do his will. If his will is to make him better then please pray for this and if God's will is to take him to be with his family in heaven then pray for this as well. I don't want my uncle to suffer. He is currently in pain and is suffering. I just don't want him to suffer anymore. Please pray for him. Before he fell last month he purchased the two cribs for the girls. He was so insistent on doing so and was so concerned that I had picked a good quality crib for them. I wanted him so much to see the girls come to this life but I know now that will most likely not be the case. I love him very much. Please keep him in your prayers.

My life: So I go into the doc today and some more follies grew and it looks like I have 6. So I'm feeling hopeful. I had 6 when my daughter was born and we got 5 embryos that time. We put in all 5 too! The doc said egg retrieval will be either Satursday or Sunday. Will keep you posted!

Julie -- I know lots of times those tests are wrong. I hope this is the case for you. Prayers that your baby is Ok.

still something super faint on the HPTs, but I was hoping for darker/clearer. Maybe this was all just the trigger? I took 2 trigger shots this time - Ovitrelle 250mcg (about 6500iu) - could this still be the trigger and getting fainter?

I also just heard from my doctor that none of the other embryos made it to freeze.

Leora. Paul has decided not to sleep at all tonight so here I am checking your pee sticks...lol I still see the bfp and I don't think its just trigger....it could be a combo of trigger fading and your own hcg rising but at 11 days I have never seen trigger...I think you are still a bit early after all you usually don't get positives this early right?....give it another couple of days and you will get darker tests

Leora-on my phone I don't see anything on frer, but the other stick you've been using I def see the line!

Leora - I did 2 triggers of Ovidrel too, but mine was definitely gone by 7 or 8 dpo (aybe even sooner but that's when I started POAS) so I don't think it's the trigger. I could never get my first few days of bfp's to show up well in pics, but hopefully you'll start seeing darker lines tomorrow. Got everything crossed for you!

Thank you to all those who prayed for my uncle. He passed peacefully this morning at 6:45 am. Although he will not be able to meet our girls in this life, I know in my heart that he will be watching and caring for them from heaven.
