Tia - none at all. I get up from the transfer room and head on out to continue my day. (at my last clinic, I laid down for 30min after transfer, but then was told to continue as usual.)
I usually avoid the gym for a day or two, but other than that - life as usual.

Ok thanks Leora! My doc always has me lay down for the day of transfer and then
No exercise for first trimester and holding nothing over a gallon of milk.
Tia - I'm not working out as hard as I usually do. I'm not working out to lose weight per se, not now that I"m pregnant (!), but I'll walk for 30 min on the treadmill and work up a light sweat.

I'm not allowed to get up for 15 mins after transfer. Then I'm to have two quiet days meaning normal activity, not heavy exercise.

I was just going to ask this question, glad someone beat me to it.
My clinic says 3 days of bed rest. The problem I run into is I have to fly to Cali, and would plan on getting on a plane the next morning to go back home... Is that too much? Plus how does someone not lift something heavier than a gallon of milk, when you have a 14 month old?
My Dr justsaid light duty for 5 days no heavy lifting etc... I laid on table for only 10 mins after transfer cause I had to pee so badly and then been in bed since, I am going on day 2 of bed rest and plan on staying here til Sunday, wasnt Dr Orders just trying something different to see if I get better results
I also just rested the day of transfer and then went back to doing my regular activities which is lifting a 20 month old at the time. I got a BFP. None of it mAtters as long as the embryos and lining is good.

I've always followed the bed rest rule, and it's always worked for me. But, I've never had to travel by plane to have a cycle done either.
I was going to try to do an FET this month. We have renters not paying on the home we own in Cali, so I have to go to court to get them out since they are fighting it. The problem has been that we don't know the exact date and won't know until a week before. It's supposed to be sometime in the next 15-20 days. Everything would have worked out well cycle wise for me with these dates until I ovulated 4 days later than normal, so it's throwing everything off now. My cycle started today, which now means I wouldn't be ready for transfer with my 5 day blast until the 26th. I am certain the court date will be before that, and I have to be here for a program I am running the 25-27...
Ugh. I was planning to do an unmedicated cycle. But I am wondering if my lining looks good, if I could do a trigger shot and PIO, if everything looked ok to time it sooner with when I am there a few days before. I will have to talk to them and see what they are able to do.
