RE says to follow up on Sunday with another blood test, and if that's good, then an u/s next Thursday. I don't really want the u/s next Thursday (the boys' first birthday...) so maybe I can do it Wed or Fri...

I got all excited about Leora and forgot to post how the ultrasound went the other day...
Samuel is fine, although the Dr won't say 100% no chance of trisomy bc they couldn't clearly see the heart as well, they still reassured me that all looks good and they would expect to see definitive markers/anomalies if there were any. They were very thorough and I am going back July 30 so they can see his heart better. He showed us his junk again, lol guess he's proud of it! We got great pictures if his little piggy toes! He is measuring 4 days ahead and is already weighing 9 ounces! Thank you aLLC again for all the prayers and support.

Julia-I'm so releaved and happy for you and DH. Thank God everything I'd ok eith your little miracle. I would love to see the pics. You should try and post them on the PAT board. Keep us posted. I'm not sure what's going on with Skype buy I have it on today. Let's see if it works.

Leora - HUGE congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has probably been a while since you and David had such a happy moment. I hope you have every intention of celebrating this properly and then tell us all about it! This is it, like other ladies have said! I'm so happy for you, Enjoy this moment, enjoy this pregnancy!

AFM - Thank you all so much for the fantastic advices, I ended up finding an old instruction note from that high risk Dr. we saw in April, and on it his cell phone number that his secretary refused to hand me. (I guess I consider letting him know about her behavior, but I also hesitate because what if he has a descent working relations with her and will then think I'm just being crazy? I am afraid of when we will be pregnant if this is how she treats his patients when they really need help.
His recommendation was like RE said and many of you too, to start with the blood thinner on the day of transfer. We are transferring tomorrow, cross fingers please!!! Thank you all again so much for you help.

LaurenN - congrats on starting! I don't know if I believe them about the 14 days of stims. Especially with a donor, she will do really well, and probably only stim 8-10 days...don't you think?  Do you know what her meds and doses are?

Tortilla - sorry, I must have been confused! congrats on your transfer! I'll only be a few days behind you!!! 

Alwaysangel - congrats on stimming!  11-14, I would guess you would still be another 3 days or so. Did they tell you how many you have on each side?

Leora -  That is a big decision and I'm not an expert, but when we were thinking of DH having another biopsy to see if they could find any sperm, they said that even if they found sperm that the fertilization rate and what would result in a pregnancy is much lower than DS. Therefore, I have to believe that with the low number of sperm you are getting that with DS your fert report and percent of a successful pregnancy would increase.  After hearing this, this is what really changed our mind. The RE said that even if they found sperm, that our chance for pregnancy was only 10-15% vs with DS it's almost 60%. Now, everyone's situation is different, and I'm just praying that this cycle will be it for you and that you don't need to worry about DS!!!  YEAH!! just saw your post about your BETA!!!!! Such great news!!!!

Julia - congrats on the great news!! How exciting!!

AFM: I received the fert report this morning! 7:15 am, they are on top of it!  So, out of the 9 eggs all were mature and 7 fertilized! I'm really happy with that! They won't know the grades until tomorrow, but guess who will be calling! yup, that would be me He said they usually let you know the day of the transfer, which is Friday, but I'm going to call tomorrow  I'm feeling really good today, no cramping or anything, so I am happy about that!

Tiger04- great news on the fert rate! Can't wait to hear about the grading. How many are you going to want to transfer? And on my donor going 14-15 days, that is her average. She's been a donor 3 times before. She produces a good # of eggs(not as many as MadameX's donor though!), she just takes a bit to get started. They said that everyone that she had donated to has gotten prego too. I'm excited and ready to get this show on the road....again, well, again for a transfer, but it will be weird not going through the whole retrieval process, etc......but I'm good with it. I keep thinking that I can't wait to see the look on my husband's face when he holds his child/children for the first time......

Leora- that is a fantastic beta! I'm so excited for you. Can't wait to hear the next one. Will you continue to POAS until your next beta?

Ninde- is your hand/foot/mouth thingy getting better? Did they give you something for it?

MadameX- how is your 2WW going?

Ninde – Are you feeling better? Glad you were able to nap for hours, it is wonderful to be able to do that here and there, especially when you are down and out.

Kynlee- Only one full day left, how are you feeling?

AFM- Went for b/w this morning for a hormone check. Estrogen is at 300 and Progesterone is 27. The nurse said that is good and that the RE is happy with that.

LaurenN- I feel the same way, I have been so sick since starting IVF this was never the case so I think this brings your immune system down with all the meds...
