awww... thanks so much to all my cheerleaders.

Remember, we aren't out of the woods (are we ever?) and this is just the first step, of what I hope are many.

The next big hurdle is a good u/s.... hopefully soon!

Leora, I'll be eagerly waiting for a great u/s report soon.

Patricia, your spa day sounds lovely. I'm glad you were able to enjoy it.

Tortilla, enjoy your last day of rest. Fingers are crossed!

Kynlee, it's impossible to tell by symptoms. Try to stay positive! Easier said than done!

AFM, had a triple study MRI today. Brain, cervical, and thoracic spine. It took two solid hrs. I couldn't move the whole time. I've done it enough to know when I can take a deep breath or cross my ankles, but two hrs was so long! Plus it was hot in the tube. At least I had music and an aromatherapy cloth over my eyes. I follow up with my neuro next week. Hopefully things still look ok.

Appt with the RE is tomorrow morning. I hope we walk out with a solid plan. Had a great run tonight. I worked on my speed and was able to get a 10:30 min mile! That's huge for me. Tata for now. Busy day tomorrow.

Julia - so glad that Samuel is looking good on the u/s!

Kay - I would let them know that the secretary was rude. I always try to remember that everyone is a person, and sometimes people are just having bad days (I feel bad for clients who catch me on the phone immediately after a BFN call!). But I would mention it to your RE that you couldn't get an answer when you needed it.

Tiger - I'm just always looking for a way easier than the IVF - but I guess it doesn't exist! Oh well... Hurray! That is a great percentage fertilized! How many will you transfer? Transfer on Friday the 13th, huh? Feeling lucky?

Laura - trying not to obsess about the pee sticks - but I'll probably keep doing it!

MadameX - my clinic doesn't do it, but I would find it maddening to do blood work and NOT an early beta! Are you taking progesterone vaginally or in injections? I hear that can greatly affect how much shows up in blood work.

Kynlee - I've never had any signs either way - so fingers crossed for you! Just one more night until you know!

Chris & Laura - so... if DH has to do his sample while you aren't in surgery... do you get to help?

Dogzrule - thanks so much for your reassurance!

Patricia - spa day sounds awesome! I'm not allowed to do my massages while waiting to see what happens (massage therapist says after we see a hb, we can start up with prenatal massages, but for now, nothing!). I miss it!

Christy - if ONLY wanting it would make it happen, no? Thanks honey!

Tia - I saw your other post. Really, I've wanted to wait until 12pdER to POAS, but usually start earlier...

Pocos - I hope you don't overstim again! Are you with the same doctor?

Nicole - I used to have brain MRIs as a kid (my mom enrolled me a study for gifted kids - they did 6 brain MRIs between the ages of 6-12 plus IQ tests and other things). Sooooooo boring! Good luck at the RE today! What do you want to hear?

AFM - feeling queasy. Really queasy. Hopefully a good sign.....

Tortillachip- Bedrest isnt FUn, but today you get to go out and doing something fun, it will all be worth it when you get your BFP :)

Pocos- I had OHSS my first time around and then after that they lowered my meds and I did much better, they gave me a med to help with the OHSS the last couple times since it was severe... Yah for starting stims :)

Blueeyedreamer- What did you have a MRI for? I had to do that before and omg I thought I was going to die in there and I think mine was only a hour... Hope your RE appt goes well today and you get to start your cycle :)

Kay- thinking of you, This will be your time :)

AFM- One more day till beta, hoping for a good outcome... Please say some prayers for me :)

Nicole - Why did you need the MRI? Poor you! I had a pelvic MRI after I had OHSS because I was with a rectal pain that wouldnt go away, and I had to pee in the middle of the procedure! It was 40 min of torture! 2 hours!!! I couldn't do it!

Leora - I am with a different doctor now, also different clinic. The first doctor wanted to use the same exact protocol but trigger with Lupron, which was nice. But the protocol didnt work for me. I had 40 follicles but only 3 mature eggs! I wouldnt mind the OHSS if at least had a good protocol. So I went for a second opinion. This time I am doing the long lupron to see if I can get better eggs.

Kynlee - What medicine did they give you to help with the OHSS? Also, what was your dosage of Gonal f (or whatever u were taking) when you had OHSS and what was the dosage when they lowered it?

My OHSS was bad, I felt awful, didnt go to work for 2 weeks, I had to sleep in a reclining chair because if I laid down I couldnt breath very well, couldnt eat very well because my belly was soooo big. I was begging to be drained but the doctor didn't drain me. Now the scariest part was having my "downstairs" swollen, the fluid was going everywhere!! Do you guys thing the doctor should have drained me?

LauraN- Just commenting off what you and to-have-fun were chatting about. I also had 3 failed cycles with my own eggs. I hope this cycles works for you and your DH!

Ninde- I love spa days! It’s nice that you were able to relax with friends.

Sunshine- Hi! How are you doing?

Blue- Hope all your MRI tests all come back normal. Hope things go well at your app with your RE tomorrow and you leave with a great cycling plan.

Kynlee- Try not to feel discouraged. I totally get what you mean though, I am right there with you. But everything I read said that any thing we actually do feel is from the meds, that the embryo is smaller than a grain of salt and we shouldn’t have any symptoms yet. I did have bloating which now isn’t as bad and my cramps are gone and just still have a little bit of that white discharge yuck. So we are in the same boat. Good luck tomorrow, my fingers are crossed for you!!!

Leora- I am doing the PIO injections. So you think by how much progesterone I have we can get an idea of a BFN or BFP?

Tortilla- how many days of bed rest did you do? I did the day of transfer and took it easy the day after. I go crazy!!!

AFM – 5dp5dt…. I hate this feeling. I want to POAS tomorrow morning but I am so scared!! Maybe Saturday morning…. Definitely by Sunday morning, I need to be prepared for my beta Monday. I am too nervous and leaning towards a BFN b/c of the all the disappointment I’ve had, but then I think what if…. Then I think, ya right….. It is a vicious cycle!

Leora - YAY! So happy for you! Sending good vibes and prayers that everything keeps on progressing great!!! I guess queasy is a good sign, but as you know, I was almost neurotic with what I was feeling and not feeling :)

MadameX - I would hold off on POAS for a while. I know this is easier saud than done but try not to be too consumed with this in your thoughts. Praying for your BFP!!

kynlee - prayers sent! I didn't ahve much symptoms at all in the beginning. I never even got mroning sickenss or anything. I did have some terrible migraines for 2 weeks but that was around 11-13 weeks pregnant.

blueeyedreamer - let us know how your RE appointment goes!

Pocos - good luck with your stims!

tortillachip - good luck with the bed rest! My RE told me it wasn't necessary but I did take it easy.

Julia - glad you ahd a good uS :)

Ninde - spa day sounds nice, I want one too :)

AFM: Had some light cramping and went to my OBGYN yesterday. Baby's haertbeat sounded great and he said everything looks perfect so far. He also told us that he is 80% sure it's a boy so score one for team blue here :) Next US is Tuesday afternoon and we should get blood test back from our first trimester screening then too!

Pocos- The medication I was on for the OHSS I will have to look at home but i think it was something like cabergolie (definitely spelt wrong) I also took almost 2 weeks from work but my RE monitored me daily to make sure the fluids werent rising to my lungs etc... Sounds like you should have been drained where they monitoring you? When I had Ohss i was on Follistim I believe 225 units for awhile lowered at the end when it was too late... After that she lowered me to 150 units for a couple days then to 125 then to 75, those cycles were much better...

Madamex- TY I am trying to keeo the faith I been trying to read up on symptoms too but I get mixed signals on it, I am just going to try to relax til tomorrow :)

hopethisworks- thanks for the encouraging words :)

Last day of bed rest, woohoo! I've been laying here for 3 days! Our doc said 3 days of full headrest only getting up to pee after a 3 day transfer (which I had) and only one day of bed rest after a 5 day transfer. I'm so happy I get to go back to normal life tomorrow, but the doc said I can't pick up my daughter.

Julia- I'm glad you had a good ultrasound too, you must be getting so excited it's hard not to be shopping for babystuff! We have a online auction on facebook, someone from my hometown started and it has tons of stuff and I bidded on 12 bibs the other day for $4., and today I found a crib set for $150 I LOVED but didn't get carried away with that, hmmm well not yet, just looking lol.

Tortilla- 3 days of bedrest would of been hard for me too. About picking up your daughter, do you have someone to come and help you out Or could she stay with some relatives/grandparents?

Kynlee- This time tomorrow we will be getting in your beta results, ahhh so exciting but nerve-racking at the same time isn't it? I soooooooooooo hope and pray this is your time, You're right on knowing HIs timing is always perfect!

MadameX- IVF is the biggest emotional rollercoaster. I'm one to wait until beta to find out! It's all out of our hands and those test sometimes aren't 100% accurate. Hence why we've heard of ladies "dumper-diving" a few times, it's all crazy emotions but I really really hope and pray yours is positive next week, not much longer until we find out!

Leora- I know if we could only "willed" this to work then all our worrying would stop, but I'm always here for you.

Perplexed right now, the college in Huntsville never called back so we've given up on that but still on the fence with dh's job situation. I thought we found know something by mid-July. In the meantime my clinic called asking our status and dh wants to talk about everything next week over my birthday. Maybe we can throw in the towel and just go for it. My mom thinks when they call me back Friday I need to have my list of questions ready. Such as what if we are in contract and we have to move? Can we get 32,000 refunded? Can the embryos be transferred to another state? Who knows what next year will bring but I'm not giving up without a fight and I'm so tired of waiting but really trying not to jump in too deep all at the same time.

Hi! I am new to this board but not definitely not the site. I can't believe I am back on here and heading into another cycle! (Really. I can't.) I guess this is the place to go, since there is only one massive 2012 cycle board! :) Already started BCP, box o' drugs arrived today and right now we are looking at a tentative FET date of August 15. I haven't done an FET in 4.5 years, so I am feeling kind of lost -- like I SHOULD know what I am doing because I have done it before, but... Not so much. Anyway, something about knowing I have to start sticking myself with needles again has me needing some support so I thought I would check in here again!

Sunshine- you are in a tough position. I know you will know what the right thing to do is, but sometimes it is hard to decide when we have such a desire for something. It kind of clouds our judgements. I will be praying that the right answer comes to you.

Ninde- my life has changed dramatically since my weight loss, mainly how I feel about myself. One of the things I was cautioned with, is to be careful because they said there are a lot of women that lose a bunch of weight, and then either end up cheating on their husbands, or their husbands cheat on them. My husband and I were very clear that we were still there for each other, and that if there was anything weird with the way either of us were acting, that we would just talk about it. My hubby is so great, he loved me big and loves me smaller,he doesn't care, as long as it's me. I LOVE the attention I get, but know that my heart is my husbands and there is no one I would rather be with in life other than him. I also met several women in the support group that end up divorced afterwards because they don't feel like their husbands "get it" after their surgery. I've just been very blessed that my husband is fantastic.

Wondercat- welcome! join right in with all of us stickers.....it's nice knowing that there are people you can share things with that have been through this. And I know what you mean, this is our 4th round, and sure, we are doing a donor round unlike the others, but I almost act like I've not done it and don't know what is going to happen.

I got my calendar today and it looks like I will be starting Lupron Tuesday and stopping on the 30th....when I got the calendar, my stomach starting doing flips. I am excited and scared to death!

Hi ladies

Windercat: hello :D and I see you have a little boy, congratulations. Looking forward to getting to know you and i have no doubt you will be able to support others too

Christy: that is tough. It must be really unsettling to have the job uncertainty going on. What does your gut say?

LauraN: I know what you mean about some men not getting how their wives' sense of themselves can change and how that can cause relationships to break down. Your dh sounds wonderful

Nicole: how was your meeting g today? Have you a plan? Your day of mri's sounds really tough

Leora: I had heard massages at this point isnt good. Yay for quest!!!

Kynlee: what time is your beta tomorrow. Im really hoping for you x

Pocos: oh that sounds awful and very scary

Madam x: this is the horrible part. I know what you mean about the being damned if you think negatively or if you think positively. Im really rooting for you

Afm: officially got a new day job today. Its just one days lecturing a week but its where I trained and its a bit of a coup to get it. It means I'll be working in four different places a week from oct!
