Kynlee: 5 days is a lot but the embies surely found a place to implant!

Sunshine: I have relatives helping here now during bed rest but my doc says not to pick up anything over 10 pounds the entire first trimester. I know, crazy right?!

LaurenN – The Dr. is recommending that we transfer 2. So, that’s what we are planning on! Got it, well that makes perfect sense! Since she’s been through it before, I guess she just stimms for a long time! Man, I feel bad for her…But, that’s awesome that you have such a great donor! I can’t wait to hear how things progress. It will be here before we know it! How exciting! With DE, how many can you transfer?

Kynlee – We are all going to be refreshing our screens tomorrow!! BETA DAY!!! How exciting!

Ninde – oh I just love spa days…good for you to treat yourself!! I need one!

Tortilla – do you have Netflix? I have a bunch of shows all lined up to watch on Netflix this weekend while I’m on bedrest…man it sucks doesn’t it!

Pocos – congrats on starting! How exciting!

Leora – We will be transferring 2…I thought the Friday the 13th was really funny…and then I thought, well we haven’t been lucky thus far, so maybe it’s opposite for us! I am glad you’re not feeling well…I don’t say that ever, but in this case, the sicker the better…j/k.

Madame X – we are with you 100%. It’s crazy how positive we are the whole way through and then right towards the end we’re all trying to prepare for the worst. I have a great feeling for you and can’t wait to hear about your POSITIVE beta on Monday. We are all here for you!

Sunshine – oh my gosh, I can totally relate. During all of this stuff, I have almost started registries so many times! I’m not even pregnant yet and never have been! I just can’t wait to start shopping!

Wondercat – Welcome!! Glad you are back!

AFM: RE called today and out of the 7 embies, 5 are growing well. They would like them to be between 4-5 cells, so all of the 7 are growing, but 2 of them are growing slower. But, I have 5! We are transferring two tomorrow morning at 10:30 and I’ll find the grades out tomorrow. I am just hoping and praying for 2 good ones with little fragmentation….please please please. Then, I’ll be on bedrest for 2 days. I’ll be watching Vampire Diaries and reading Bossy Pants by Tina Fey…good times.

Hello ladies!

To all asking about my MRI, it was for my multiple sclerosis. I needed a follow up because it has been two years since my last. It's just to check progression. I looked at the scans and didn't see anything alarming so I'm hopeful for a good report next Tuesday.

Sunshine- step away from the computer!

Ninde- four places is a lot! It sounds like you are happy for it.

Wondercat- welcome

Leora- did your folks get any follow up info from your childhood study?

Madame- good luck! I would have poas already!

AFM- appt with re went well. I walked out with what I wanted. I will go the antagonist protocol. Last day of bcp will be the 24th and Stimson will start on the 27th, I think. I have a pelvic and abdominal u/s scheduled next week for a suspected endometrioma. The re wants a good look at it since we aren't real sure what it is. The I will have the saline sonogram to check my uterus. I had an hsg last time but it's been too long so I will do the sis.

Our biggest decision will be to transfer fresh or have PGS to screen for chromosomal issues and then transfer in a FET the next month. My re won't do a day 6 transfer so we would have to wait. I don't want to wait, but it could be beneficial. What to do...

My clinic is very careful about multiples. Aside from that, I am not thrilled with carrying more than 2. It's risky. I'm not critical of anyone choosing to carry more, but it's not for me. If the embies split and I get more, then that was meant to be.

I think it also comes down to the reason for the ivf, age, and personal issues. If we have extra then we freeze them for later. I won't dispose of any.

Wondercat- welcome back! I remember you, we got our BFP together! :)

kynlee- GL hoping for your BFP today!

Baseline was good, went down on lupron for 5units but won't get to start the patches till the 15th because I requested a certain doctor to do my transfer and he only does it on Fridays so it looks like transfer will move up to August 3rd. Totally fine with me, I will wait for this RE an extra week lol

Tortillachip – Well, we decided to transfer 3 again yesterday because the only time it worked (until the preterm) was with 3 3 day embies. More than 2 or 3 for anybody else I feel could be risky.

Kynlee – I'm crossing everything for you! I'm so anxious for you and want to hear a great beta! Cramps are stressing as well as no cramps/symptoms. I hope very soon you'll be stressed with morning sickness :D or stressed that you don't get sick, whatever will mean pregnant!

Blueeyedreamer - What about having a hysteroscopy? I had 1 in January and as unpleasant as it was I heard it's a lot easier than hsg. I'm praying that your MRI results are okay.
What day transfer are you going for, if not day 6? Did you get yours and DH's karyotype tested? If there are chromosomal issues than transferring after the embies have "proven" they can make it longer in the lab is smart. PGS can also reduce your chances, that is what we have been told when we thought about doing it after the chemical pregnancies.

Tiger – I'm praying for your embies to grow strong! Enjoy as much as you can bedrest.

Kala –Can't wait to hear about Monday's U/S! Tired because you're pregnant is good :)

Ninde – 4 different places…wow. How's the singing going?

LauraN – It's wonderful you get to start again…can't wait to stalk your cycle!

Wondercat – Welcome :)

Pocos – I also used Gonal F The first 2 cycles and had OHSS, but I almost "hid" it from RE so the transfers were not cancelled. When we got pregnant for real the pain was terrible, but also meant I was pregnant... I couldn't leave the house because I was so big. No older Pocos anyhow! Forever young here :D (that's my thinking before my upcoming Bday in October) I hope this time will be a good cycle for you anyhow regardless of age, I honestly feel like the healthy nutrition I was keeping for the last couple of month made me tolerate this cycle a lot better.

Leora – I so know what you mean about not being out of the woods…I'll be counting those steps with you, along with everybody here, and before you know it there will be baby steps – the real kind!
We will only go see the high risk Dr and his famous secretary when we are pregnant again, and then I'll have to review my strategy. I can be pretty feisty and if she's nasty to me again, who knows what can happen
The worst I know of is ILs calling the day of a BFN. Without knowing anything they can still make it worse.

Madame x – If you must POAS, wait as much as you can. I hate the sticks and don't trust them. They're good at scaring people.

-HopeThisWorksM – How wonderful! 80% team blue!!!

AFM - We transferred 3 embabies yesterday, 2 8 cells and 1 7 cells. Very few left to freeze afterwards, I don't know how many yet. I don't remember who said it before that it's harder to stay positive at this stage, even more so than before...maybe Madame X? It's so true...I'm so scared of another BFN, or a chemical... :( I started this cycled with renewed hopes...

Nice to see so many familiar faces - dys24, kynlee, lauren319, margi26 (probably others I have missed...)!! Trying to catch up with what's going on with everybody else...

kynlee - Hoping for good results on the B/W. Crampy doesn't always mean bad, I know that for a fact.

Waitingkay - Congrats on your transfer!! Now the part I recollect as being even tougher than POI shots... Waiting. I think I did 3 complete 1,500 piece jigsaw puzzles the last 2ww just to keep from going mad!!

Lauren319 - Yay you did it! And things are unbelievably good for me. Will PM later. :)

Madam X - I always POAS myself, I just don't have the fortitude not too I guess!

Leora - CONGRATS!! I have seen you on here for a while and know you have been through a lot already.

AFM - Still so strange jumping into this again. I can't believe it's only a month until my FET. Lupron shots start tomorrow morning, hopefully I remember how to do it.
