I think that today was Jen's delivery day! Jen, you are probably very busy but know that we're rooting for you and looking forward to baby pics!


AFM: I'm 50% effaced and 2.5cm dilated. I have polyhyraminos (high fluid) and a large baby so I'll be getting an induction date tomorrow - either for 38 or 39 weeks depending on what the specialist says. Hopefully, I'll go into labor on my own but if not, it's nice to have an end date.

Hi ladies!!! Its been a long time and I haven't had a chance to catch up on the thread. Keeping up is hard to do with a baby and a full time job. Evie is close to waking up from her morning nap, but I wanted to jump in and say hi! I have a lot of reading to do . Its great so see so many of you are doing so well...and getting so close!

Okay- caught up now and baby still sleeping so have time for a few things.

First- there are some beautiful new babies on the board! Congrats to you all and great work mamas! So many that I can't even begin to do personals for all so please forgive me but know I am very happy for you all.

Next- Lydia and Maria- we go WAY back and I am so sorry I haven't been a better friend but I am THRILLED to see you are both doing so well. We- your shower was over the top FABULOUS!

And the biggie...ANNA!!! Another miracle? And another boy???!!! What a surprise it was to see you on here. So happy for you.

I am so happy that everyone is having wonderful and healthy pregnancies. Ive missed you all and will try to do better, but I have a graduate paper to write by October in addition to work and baby. I shouldn't even be on here now, but everyone needs a break every now and then.

Evelyn is amazing, she changes every day and is such an easy going baby. I am amazed and thankful every day. I just put her 3 month clothes, the swing, and the bouncer away this morning. It goes so fast, enjoy every minute of it. I already miss my newborn but am enjoying my little girl. We may start another round in the Spring...I can't get enough of this baby stuff!

Alissa, it's so great to see you here! I am glad Evie is doing well and is not giving you too much trouble!

I am doing well. 34 weeks next Tuesday. I am grateful that My belly is relatively small for 8 months because my 2 year old is kicking my butt and the small belly helps to keep up. I am worried this baby is smaller than the 1st one, but I wasn't super big with the first one either.

AFM-feeling pretty tired these days. I'll be 31 weeks tomortow 7-15-12. I'm really hoping to make it to at least 36 weeks but my body is starting to tell me otherwise. I've been having a lot of Braxton Hicks Contractions. There is no pattern to them but they have goiten much more intense lately. I have another u/s on Wednesday. Praying that Baby A will allow the tech to get a nice 3D photo. DH and I went to Target yesterday to buy some PJ pants, nursing tops, and a robe. I put everything in my hospital bag along with the girl's take home outfits so my bag is ready to go now, I think I hope everyone us doing well. Below is a belly pic from lastnight at almost 31 weeks. This belly is so different from my the one I had with my son 13 years ago. With him I gained weight all over and grew to the sides. With this pregnancy it's all belly and just pushing straight forward. Xoxo...

Maria - curious how big your girls are since you are only a week ahead of me too. I tend to think ill go at 36 weeks also.

Amy-we had a growth u/s at 29 weeks/2 days and the girls were weighing 3 pounds 2 ounces each. How big are your little ones? I'm glad your doing well.

Sounds like everyone is doing well! It's good to see some exciting activity on the board lately! No big news here - still baking these babies! I'm at 35 1/2 weeks now and am starting to think it will be 37 weeks before they join us - so big and uncomfortable but get by knowing the end is in sight! Pretty much just hanging out at pool as much as possible to stay cool and reduce some of the back strain. Will see how next appt goes on Wed - curious to get an update on weights and wondering if I beg if they will take them sooner - I'm pretty sure all are over 5lbs at this point and the one is prob over 7!

Kbillsey-wow!!! I don't know how you do it. I have two and I'm only 31 weeks and feel like I am so ready. But I know the girls need more time. I am so proud of you for making it this far. Please continue to keep us posted.

Maria - at our growth scan @28w5d Bruce was 3 lb and Audrey was a whopping 3 lb 7 oz. my doc is leaning towards an amnio @ 36 weeks to check for lung maturity, delivering then if things look ok. I don't have another growth scan until 32 weeks - I go in next week but I think they are just checking my cervix. So I'd guess we'll still be about a week apart for delivery.

Kbillsy - cant believe how well you are doing! If I'm uncomfortable I can only imagine how you feel. Your babies will do great once they deliver!

Sorry for the late check in.

Landon William was born on 7-11 at 8:43AM. He weighed 8lbs and 13oz and that was a week early! Imagine had I gone to term or over LOL. He was 22 inches. Perfect in health and every other way!

Birth story to come soon. I am struggling with the baby blues pretty bad. Very much missing this pregnancy and having a hard time not making it through the day without bursting into tears =[

Hugs and Love to all of you for thinking of me on my special day. I am hoping my hormones calm down in the next few days and I am able to function a little better.

Congrats Jen!!! I can't wait to read your birth story! So sorry you've got the blues ... Hope they resolve soon so you can enjoy this precious time with your little fellow.

JenMink - congratulations! Hope you are talking to your doc about your baby blues. Not sure how long differentiates baby blues from PPD but that's something that you can nip in the bud with the right medication. You want to be able to enjoy this time with Landon because you won't get it back. Big hugs to you!
