cute lil babies on the board.
Okay i have a silly question for those that breasfed. Mine has two lil teeth at the bottom lol and those things are sharp. Am still fully breastfeeding and boy he has turned to bitting. Do any of you have tricks to stop that habit.
Also he is showing more interest in food and pulling at everythin on the table. I still have not started him on any table food. I was trying to hold of till 9months but i think am going to give in and start cereal. any thoughts/ideas will be appreciated.

Nwquiz- even though I am still nursing, neither of my girls have any teeth yet. They have tried biting though. I have heard that if the baby bites you should stop nursing. They will come to learn that every time they bite you stop, so they will hopefully stop. As for the foods, what are your reasons for waiting? We started the cereal at 4 months, and then added homemade fruits and veggies at 6 months. The girls both seem to love the foods and much like your son they seemed very interested in everything we had. Good luck with your decisions though.

As for solids nothing really just didnt want to disconnect so much and his weight. he is such a big boy and i just felt adding solids will make him even chabbier. but am giving in slowly and accepting the fact that my munchkin is growing up.this is funny he pinched on bread i had and sucked it all up with no problem.then i gave him a peach i was eating and he sucked juice out lol. i might just skip the baby food and mash up regular food.

nwquiz~ I think that is what I would do too. Just mush up what you have and see what he thinks. I started Marlo on rice cereal at 7 months, but she was a preemie, and should have only been 4 months old. She has been eating everything we eat since she was about 9 months old, and loves it. I wasn't able to breastfeed as long as I would have liked, and she wasn't a great bottle feeder until around 7 months. Every baby is different, but I think if he seems ready, then let him at it. It's hard watching them grow up so fast!

Lou - Chloe is adorable.

Nwquiz - I am in the same boat.. big boy. Jake is 8mo old and weighs about 26lbs. We have been giving him a mixture of baby food and just regular table food. he likes the regular stuff better. We don't feed him a lot of solid foods, just enough to kind of keep him busy while we eat and for him to get used to different foods. he still gets 99% of his nutrition from formula.

yes am in the denial stage but i have to let go. Thanks for all the feed back. I have decided cereal and table food it shall be after a feed for a start then slowly replace one feed for table food. Gosh they grow so fast it makes no sense.
Now i have the itch for another one but i know it will nothappen anytime soon. so let me enjoy all i can.

Chloe had her 9 month appt this week. She is tall and thin, lol. 29 inches tall and 18 lbs 8 oz. She loves to eat food, bottles not so much. I'm lucky to get 18-20 oz formula a day in her. Ped says no cow dairy till 1 year. Why does Gerber make yogurt then? Anyone hear this?

lou i think your ped ment no regular cow milk. its because most ppl try to offer regular milk to babies since they have got used to table food. some just to cut on cost of formula but the poor babies tummies are not strong enough to break it down. so its recommended to wait till they are at least one yr old. also the iron in regular milk is less than in formula. hope this helps. yogurt is fine on babies.

Hi ladies! Just checking in, it's so nice to still hear from everyone every once in a while

Would you believe the twins are 1???? I certainly cant believe it. I told them they absolutely cannot turn 2. It is just not allowed! They are doing well, we have their 1-year check up tomorrow. We will get weights, but I'm pretty sure Bell is 20lbs and D is 25lbs. Both are at least 30" I'm sure! Here are a few recent pics!

We are getting ready to celebrate Marlo's One Year Adjusted birthday. She is 14 months old, and will have her one year adjusted birthday on August 8th. She is starting to stand on her own, but is too afraid to walk on her own. I sometimes forget to adjust her age when I think about some of the things she is or isn't doing. When I stop to think about it though, I realize that right now she should only be 11 months, and it doesn't matter if she isn't talking very much. Oh, the pressure! She is staying steady now at 18lbs. Can't seem to get her to gain now that she won't drink formula and is sooooooo busy! Might be doing a FET this month. We will see. I have to go to court to evict renters in our home in Cali, and thought, if everything worked out timing wise that we might do a transfer of just one embryo. I won't know until Wednesday if it will work out. We have 3 very good quality blasts waiting for us. I am perfectly happy with Marlo, but I'm not getting any younger so if we are going to try I need to do it soon. I fly out Wednesday, and will go for a lining check at my old clinic and they will measure the developing follie and if all is well, we will transfer Tuesday the 24th. I am doing this unmedicated, so there is no telling if things are where they want them to be. It's weird to do things this way. Can't believe I have to fly out there to get these guys out of our house. Where did common decency go in this world...if you don't pay your rent, you get out, and you don't fight the owners so you can stay weeks and months on end. I am I wrong? Ugh!

Happy Birthday ( a little late) to all the cute babies.. Gosh i can't believe its been a year already. I remember when ryanann and mellow delivered. I was thinking my delivery was so far off at that time. now look at us, you gals have one year olds and Jake is almost 9 months old. how time flies.

Mellow - how did it go at court.. did you get the renters out of the house?
