Leora~ I was so nervous to check and I am so happy the news is great. Very happy for you.

I friended the few names I saw on FB. My real name is Amy. I go by Jayne on this website because that is what I always wanted to name a little girl if we had one. I also do not talk IVF on FB.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone and getting to know the new people.

AFM~ Got period today. I will know the plan for my next cycle soon. I'm so nervous bc I know it is probably our last and I really want it to work.

Leora, I love love your ultrasound pictures, more precious then a rare diamond you are on the right track!!!
As for dh, that is an excellent question, it all depends on the college's needs. The Va posting was for Spring 2013, but most insitutions don't give you much notice. Some are advertised for only 3 days until interviewing begins. All I know classes start back mid-August so the window is closing for Fall. Down here all that's left to look into would be high school positions so he's applying to all openings. The real question is if dh is even offered a high school position right now would he take it? He said he really dreads going back to the campus in the Fall after the way they treated him, but he says he won't allow pride get in the way. (He has until Spring 2013 until his contract expires but the anticipation with change is killing us both. ugh I'm needing pepto bismol, everything I've eatten since yesterday seems to make me sick.

AFM - nothing much has changed. Still messing with the university on what to do about the compromised eggs...wish they'd get their head out of their rear and have a little compassion and follow up....just sayin'.

Ok ladies.. I got that dreaded call yet again out of 10 embies there is 1 8 cell grade 2 and 2 7 cell and 2 6 cell. Transfer today! I never ad a three day trans! Last time we pushed it to day 5 to have pgd. Trans 2 maybe 3 need to meet with re before trans! What a buzz kill today!!!

Always –I have been down this route and know how nerve racking it is! Good luck with your transfer and keep us posted. Try to stay positive! Lots of people get a BFP with 3 day transfers!

Blue – My progesterone is not covered by my insurance and my RE just went through Mendels?? Mendals?? Anyway, the price was $41 which I don’t think is bad and it was here the next day for an extra $10. But whatever better safe than sorry.

Maria – You are getting sooooo close, GOOD LUCK!!!

To –have-fun – Congrats on being PUPO!!!

Kynlee- I go one more time for a beta Friday, and then based on that number they will schedule my u/s. So the waiting game will begin soon enough for me too? When exactly is your next beta? Then will they schedule your u/s too?

Pocos – I am private too about this whole thing myself, IVF, carrier of a genetic disorder, and now DE. Like serious immediate family only private! Well that is what I thought anyway….. And I have drama with it anyway. I think people don’t know how to respond to what we are going through and a big part of it is that they don’t understand. It is very hard! I have actually built up some resentment towards some people, which is not like me…. I am just baffled by people….

Laura – Yay…. Not that I want to wish the summer away, but seriously Aug 4 will be here in no time at all!

Akdelp – Welcome back!

AFM- 2nd Beta is 502!! The nurse said it looks really good! I tried figuring out the doubling time…. But I don’t know. Is there a certain calculator you guys use? Anyway, 3rd beta is Friday, then based on that number they will schedule my u/s.

nindine- I think you asked about the patches, they are basically estrogen but in a patch so you dont have to take the pills.

Which brings me to apparently my e2 levels are low so I need to double my patches and add estrace tablets ughhhhh. This happened at my last frozen cycle. I'm mad because they make me sooo bloated. Oh well, I will do hat I have to do. more bloodwork on sunday. My transfer date is still set for August 3rd, its getting so close, I'm getting nervous.

AFM-I attached the u/s pic and everything look beautiful with a nice strong heart beat of 125 bpm!!! The RE talked about going back for another u/s in 2 weeks but we would have to pay out of pocket...insurance only covers one we might wait until we switch to my ob. Im so excited but soooo tired and so neasaus all the time! Time to do a ticker :

Tortilla chip- THanks for sharing your IVF story, My Dr gave me alot of hope since I wasnt the issue we changed up some things and here I am with my BFP now hoping this all works and I have a baby next year

Afm- I am alittle crampy today like A/F is coming I hope this is normal, anyone??? I am only in week 4 so I dont know how long this is normal for they left for days and just came back a few minutes ago, I need some reassurance
