Wondercat- Thanks :) I think If everything goes well I may just have to tell him he needs to hold off for the first month then cause I think I will freak if I were to bleed... I am sure I wont be able to hold off my whole pregnancy but just long enough to give me reassurance that everything is ok... Men dont always understand but so far he hasnt questioned so I am leaving it be lol

Does anyone have the chart on what happens on what days after embryo transfer.. I am obsessing about what could be happening.. i had the chart before but can find it.---

Never mind.. i found it.. gotta love the internet

d1p5dt=the blastocyst begins to hatch out of its shell
d2p5dt=the blastocyst continues to hatch out of its shell and begins to attach itself to the uterus
d3p5dt=the blastocyst attaches deeper into the uterine lining, beginning implantation
d4p5dt=implantation continues
d5p5dt=implantation is complete, cells that will eventually become the placenta and the fetus have begun to develop
d6p5dt=hCG starts to enter the bloodstream
d7p5dt=fetal development continues and hCG continues to be secreted
d8p5dt=fetal development continues and hCG continues to be secreted
d9p5dt=hCG levels are high enough to detect a pregnancy

to have fun - Since you seem to have done the research... From what my RE told me, my frosties are already hatching. (I have no idea if this is good or bad.) Does that make it a 6dt? So I will be a day ahead on this schedule and may be able to have high enough HCG levels to be detected slightly earlier?

Wondercat -- My Jake was a hatching blast also.. so IMHO i would think that a hatching blast would implant earlier and your body would produce HCG sooner.. according to the betabase. my betas with Jake were high for a singleton. Once i saw my betas, i figured that i was having a boy because the boy was the hatching blast. I

Evening ladies

I dont think I can answer many of the questions raised earlier but i wanted to say hi

Nicole: good lord, your endometriosis sounds horrendous. Good luck tomorrow

Kynlee: I cant answer your question about betas because in ireland we only do one then three week wait for scan!!!! In terms of sex, my clinic said if there has been a history of miscarriage then its best to wait til week 12 for start of second trimester. Other than that they said its no different to other pregnancies but from my reading of it then sperm can soften the cervix which can cause complications. There seem to be lots of different t views. I think I would take a cautious approach.

Always angel: im really rooting for both of your little ones. Im not sure if there are different protocals for a three day. I would doubt it - my re says 24 hours but all the nurses say take it really easy for at least 3 days. Rest up :-)

Tohavefun08: what an amazing date your son was born on. 11/11/11 is the most angelic date :-)

Maria: how are you today?

Wonder cat: will you poas?

Everyone else: see my earlier posts to you :-)

Afm: all my clients cancelled today! But on the upside the group I work with around suicide did some wonderful work

to have fun - I'm sure you have answered this before, but when you say it was the boy - did you have pre-screening done for the gender? I think my in-laws would pay to have that done if it could guarantee a girl! My MIL is wicked girly, she wanted a daughter so badly and ended up with three sons. One day a couple months ago my ex-drill sergeant FIL out of nowhere says, "Yeah, we'd like a girl next time." I didn't think they knew we were about to try again (they don't) so I'm thinking evil thoughts about my DH blabbing to his parents but I just said, "Excuse me?" And he said, "Oh, I thought you said something about having babies. We want a girl." "Um, OK. I'll get right on that." "Good." :D The even stranger thing is that these kind of surreal conversations happen to me all the time...

Ninde - Oh I am totally going to POAS. Not obsessively, I'm not going to go out and buy a gross of them or something. But my clinic doesn't test until a full 2 weeks by which point I will be going nuts. Although right now I feel like this month of building up towards the transfer is going to be even more long and excruciating than the 2ww! I have never wanted a summer to go by so quickly. This is probably something else that has already been answered, but what do you mean by a suicide group?

Ninde-thank you for asking. I am feeling a little better today. As you know, the Fetal Fibronectin Rest came back negative yesterday so this at least gives us some reassurance that I won't go into labor in the next two weeks. Although, I'm still having a lot of Braxton hicks contractions, about 15-20 a day. The doctor says I should worry unless I have more than six in an hour. Thank you for lighting a candle for us yesterday.

Wondercat-- yes we did CGH testing on our embryos. We transferred 2 embryos one boy and one girl. the boy was the hatching blast. This is also why i know that the embryo we transferred on Monday is a girl. Kind of fun knowing the genders but also a big decision on what to transfer. As far as you inlaws.. yep they might want a girl but its your family and what will happen will happen. If your embryos are already hatching blast, i would think its to late to do testing. Some clinics do perform genetic testing on blasts but usually they do the testing and then freeze the embryos. get the results back and transfer at a different time. just depending on what kind of testing is done can take a 2 days to 3 weeks to get the resutls.

Ninde - I love his birthday. We did a c-section so it was kind of planned. The RE wanted to do the c-section a week before my due date and the 11th happened to be that day.

Hi Ladies, they think I may be triggering tonight (day 9 of stims long lupron protocol). IS that normal?

Yesterday my E2 was at 1750, most follicles mesuring 13mm or 14 mm. Today there are some 18mm, 19mm, 20mm.

Yesterday I only had to take the lupron shot and the luveris. Today Gonal f 75iu in the am. I am worried about triggering so soon. I thought it was usually on day 11. :-(

I just hope this works...

Pocas-i never had the lupron long proto but my stims on average are 8-10days but it depends on how the follies look. My re says 3 follies over 17 to trigger!

pocos- I think it averages between the 8-11 days depending on your Follie sizes if any are getting too big they may trigger so that you dont lose them. I think you should be fine your follies will still be growing before ER so everything should be ok... If they were only size 13 I would question it but you are saying there are some over 18 so that seems normal.
