i know it's people around us who give us much encouragement, I really don't know what I would do without you ladies. IVF uncertainty can make you feel lost at sea and you have no way of knowing what the future may bring. But I can share with you all today that one of my dearest friends in TX just found out one of her closest friends who had struggled with infertility for years along with 5+ IVF cycles...just gave birth to twin girls. I know it's hard at times, trust me I know but we have to continue holding on to our dreams to make them happen. xxChristy

Tortilla: oh I'm sorry the tests aren't coming up positive but hang on in there, I know some of the ladies having tested positive and still got positive betas. You sound so understandably disappointed and I really hope you get good news tomorrow x

Christy: thanks for that hopeful story

Wonder at: apologies, you asked what I meant about the suicide group. I work as a psychotherapist and on a Thursday I work with a group of people who have attempted suicide/or are suicidal. Its a 24 week program trying to help people stay alive.

Thanks Ninde! I'll keep you guys posted. We paid for 3 times (our clinic has a deal if you buy 2 or 3 times) so I'm sure we'll start up again soon if this doesn't work. On a lighter note, that's awesome you're a Psychotherapist...so is my Mom! What part of Ireland do you live in?

Hi Ladies, I am on day 9 of stims and I am not feeling ok. The nurse called me today saying that my E2 is at 2150 and that I will trigger tomorrow. I am really afraid of getting OHSS again, I am already unconfortable, my ovaries are huge and it hurts when I walk. I am actually thinking of cancelling this cycle. :(

My question is: If I ask them to cancel, will my insurance pay for it again?

My insurance covers 3 iui and 2 ivfs. I have done 1 iui and 1 ivf so far. So this is the second ivf..

Thanks ladies.

Ninde- geez girl, you can't catch a break, can you? I really think all of the stress that your mind and bosy have been going through is making you more prone to pick everything up. Sorry I don't know if I remember anyone on antibiotics while stimming I was on them right up to the wire on my last cycle, but seriously doubt that antibiotics had anything to do with my bfn.

Leora- how are you feeling? Are you feeling sick yey or anything? When is the ultrasound.

Sunshine- I am thinking about you and your dh that you guys make the decision that works for you guys. I just don't want all this crap to make your birthday yucky for you.

Congrats for all of you that have had their betas....all of them sound great!

Afm- we went to psych today for our donor cycle eval. A little late since we kinda have already started, but at least they didn't think we were bat shit crazy or anything and make us stop.. I was on my best behavior  still on the lupron and it is not giving me as bad headaches as before but is making my quite grouchy. well, I drank a kahlua, bailey's creme with almond milk as a night cap so I am buzzing nicely and going to head off,to bed. So now you kbow, if anything in this post doesn't make sense, it is because I am buzzed. :D

I woke up this morning and everything was fine. I went back to bed and woke up a few hours later to a huge gush of blood.

Since then, I've been bleeding heavily with huge clots and painful cramping. I'm sure this is over. I just can't believe it's during the anniversary of our boys' NICU stay. This sucks.

I'll go to the doctor tomorrow to confirm the miscarriage (I really don't want to sit for hours and hours in the ER on a weekend).

Can someone take over as listmistress? I think I'm going to take a short break from the board. I'll be stalking people's results though....

Leora-oh sweetie, I am so sorry your going through this. I know this easier said than done but try not to loose hope. You and I have cycled together now several times. And if you recall with this pregnancy I bleed the day of my Beta. I went in for the bloodwork, got to work, then went to the bathroom and I was bleeding and cramping horribly. I even called my RE's office and asked them to not call me with the Beta results because I was sure I was having either AF or yet another MC. Yet I was very wrong. Although i continued to bleed heavily for the next 16 weeks of this pregnancy everything was fine. Subchorionic hematomas are very common in IVF pregnancies. Many ladies have bleeding during their first trimester and go on to have healthy pregnancies. Please, please, please, keep your head up. I am saying many prayers for you and David. Please call your RE, let them know what's going on, and then try to get some rest. Please know that we are all here for you and cheering you on. There is still hope so try and hang in there. Sending you a big long distance hug.

We have hope- thank you so much for that link! That is an awesome tool!!

Wonder at- good to know about the AF date. I feel like you just saved me at least 10 frustrating minutes at the OB! Love the story about the girl with the blood draw!

Kay, my beta buddy...are you going to POAS? I can't wait to hear about your beta!!! This is going to work!!!

Kynlee, you are going to havea great Beta!!

Gi- I cycled with you! So nice to hear from you and how exciting that you are trying again! Wishing you much success!

Madame x - wonderful wonderful news!!! Awesome Mama! How are you feeling?

Christy- so true. Thanks for sharing

Pocos, can u still do the retrieval and then freeze them a month and then do a FET?

Leora- I am crying for you right now, but please try and remain hopeful! We are all here for you! I wish I was there to hug you right now.

AFM: I took my first pregnancy test this morning... And I have a very faint line! I think I'm pregnant! I can't really believe it! My beta isn't until Monday, should be tomorrow, but they don't do betas on the weekend! But my stupid. Linac won't tell you after the first one because it's all about the rise, so I have to wait until Wednesday. I'm going to get it out of them though!! Trying not to get my hopes up, but I have never in 5 years of all this crap seen even a faint line. I even woke up DH to show him, he was half a sleep, so clearly didn't get the reaction I was hoping for, I was expecting a more, leap out from the bed jumping up for joy situation...maybe later...

Leora - I can't effing believe this!!! But I am not losing hope yet!!! Are you sure you don't want to go tot he ER for some reassurance? If not get off of your feet, like the other girls said this can just be a shitty part of IVF and everything will be just fine. Thinking of you and staying postive!

Leora - no giving up hope yet hun, OK? So many of us have thought things were over when bleeding started (and who can blame us) but so many ended up being SCH's or just unexplained bleeding. I know the worry won't go away until you can confirm everything is OK on the u/s (and even then it won't go completely away) but I'm hoping all is OK in there and it's just one of those funky bleeds. Sending prayers and positive thoughts your way!

Tiger - WOO-HOO!! So freaking happy for you! Can't wait to hear about your beta, even though they're going to torture us all with a wait. :D

Leora: oh im sorry, really heartfeltly sorry that you are going through this. Please please do what the other ladies have suggested and call your re - let him know what is happening so you and david dont have to do this alone. I was really glad to read all the ladies who spoke about bleeding but positive outcomes and im praying hard you will be joining their stories x

Madame x - How are you doing?

Kynlee - same to you, how are you? 2 days for your third beta!

Tiger - My body, congrats girl!!! I don't POAS, I have experience false negatives and I don't want to torment myself myself even more before Tuesday's beta. Do whatever you can to get your results on Monday, they're yours after all!

Leora - I know this is easier said than done, but you have experienced early bleedings that had nothing to do with the baby before. Please try and stay positive, since this is the only thing you can do right now, unless you choose to go thru hours of waiting and go to ER. Sending you hugs and stay strong.

Ninde - It's good to hear about the suicide group doing a good job. This sounds like a difficult job, even if I can imagine it is very giving as well.

Pocos - I repeat one of the other ladies' questions - could you go thru the ER and then do a FET later on? Sorry you are in pain.

AFM - Bloated and in pain. I can breath, yah, but I have such a big belly right now it's both embarrassing and uncomfortable to hang with. Difficult to wait until Tuesday, but not gonna POAS. Still no symptoms... :?

Blessings,
Kay
