Anton-Yah Congrats on your Job I know how hard you were trying to get it :) I am so happy that you can start thinking of your next cycle and I think December is perfect timing :) It will give you enough time to get comfortable with the new Job and time to get yourself prepared for your next cycle... Anton - WOOOHOOO! I'm so excited for you! So... learning Hebrew now, huh? :D

Kynlee and MadameX - betas sound great!

Tiger - yippeee! I'm so happy for you!

Kay - you too! So much good news here!

AFM - I had my follow up u/s and blood work today. This was supposed to confirm my miscarriage. Instead, the beta numbers are still rising appropriately and there is a fetal pole with a heartbeat. Bad news is that the gestational sac is really irregularly shaped (and my progesterone tanked, which was probably because I stopped the suppositories - which I re-started today).

So I'm in limbo.... UGH

Follow up again on Monday. I just hope there is a normal pregnancy, or an obvious miscarriage. I just want to not be in limbo.

RE says to still expect a miscarriage.

Pray for us, please.

Kynlee- Oh hun! I am sorry that this is happening to you and I know it's easier said than done but try NOT to think of the worse! from what I read on these boards this is like a 'normal' thing to happen during pregnancy and especially during the first semester and especially in the IVF world. I will pray for you and your baby that this is just a scare and everything is going to be OK! :D ((HUGS))

kynlee - I know EXACTLY how you feel. It's terrifying. I actually had several episodes of bad bleeding. Forget brown, I had gushes of bright red with big chunks. I thought absolutely it was all over, one of those chunks contained my precious little bean. Well, the little bean had other ideas because every time we checked - there he was! It is literally impossible to believe everything will be OK when you are going through it (I know), but there is a very, VERY good chance that everything is OK. My RE was good about moving up the date of my first u/s and I had two additional ones at my local hospital with the other bleeding. Take it as easy as you can and try to distract yourself from dwelling on it constantly. Or at least get it down to 80% dwelling... :)

Anton - congrats! :P

Kynlee - I believe that could be implantation bleeding! Don't panic!

Leora - OMG - That's great news!

AFM - I received a call from the embryologist, and I have 7 embryos today (had 6 yesterday). Praise the Lord! This one extra embryo is from the regular IVF side, the other 6 are from the ICSI side. They are all dividing, we are probably having a 3 day transfer tomorrow.

I have symptoms of mild OHSS, my belly is huge, but at least I can walk, eat, sleep. I had moderate/severe OHSS with my first IVF, couldnt eat, walk, sleep, there was fluid around my ribcages, so this is nothing!

Ninde – thanks for your encouraging words. I really need to hear them. You are absolutely right and just making it until today is a relief. But you are right, this is a different pregnancy. For some reason, I just didn’t think about that before! Thank you for being so supportive!!

Pocos – 6 eggs is really good! You are going to have great eggs to choose from. Remember, it only takes one! Try not to be disappointed! So much to be thankful for….no OHSS!!

Kynlee – I’m so glad that you are feeling more relaxed! You are right, this is it for us! I’ve never made it this far either, so I don’t even know if they do a 3rd beta or what! When is your U/S? I am so happy for you and glad that we have each other during this very difficult and crazy journey!! Kynlee, just remember that bleeding during pregnancy with IVF is super common. If it’s only light, you are okay. OKAY! What did the doc say? That’s what will happen, you’ll have a little spotting and then it will go away, this is very common. Brown is good. You are okay. Brown is old blood.

KAY!!!!!!!!! I am just thrilled for you right now! Congratulations on just the best beta in the world!

Tohavefun – it’s still a positive, wishing that you had a late implanter and that your beta will rise nicely!

Madame X – you and me both…going crazy!

Anton – that is wonderful wonderful news! I am so very excited for you! Congratulations! Do they have any insurance rules or maternity leave that you have to be there a year or anything? I would look into that to make sure. Otherwise, no time like the present! I would wait 6 months just to make sure I felt good about the job and wasn’t too distracted. Also, what about time off? With all the RE appointments, something to think about? I’m sure you’ve thought about all of this!

Leora – I am thinking about you so so very much! I am sending you all the positive vibes possible. Can they put you on progesterone shots? You’ll get more progesterone through the shots than suppositories?

AFM: Yup, I am officially major of crazy town. Went to the store last night and purchased 3 more pregnancy tests, I just really need the reassurance. Today was the day that I had my miscarriage last cycle, so I’m just trying to get through the day. However, this morning, when I took the test, it was even darker, so that really helped ease my mind. I had my second beta today and should get the results this afternoon. I really like the nurse that takes my blood work and I told her this morning that I totally cheated and already know it’s positive, so if she could call me ASAP with the results, I would appreciate it. She laughed…it was funny. I am just so very hopeful. Really, it’s only 10:30 am here…they won’t call for another 4 hours! What to do! Wish I could leave work and go shopping!

Wondercat- thank you for the reassurance, god i would of been a mess if that was me i am freaking over brown nevermind red, you give me lots of hope with your story :)

tiger04- TY today has been tough emotionally i guess you think once you hear you have a BFP the worry settles but it only gets worse lol I am resting over here took a nap and just trying to stay calm ;) Cant wait to hear your second beta... so glad i have you girls ;)

Afm- just talked to nurse she said brown means old so they are not worried unless i am cramping with red blood she told me to try to just relax that stress isnt good for the baby so I am just trying to gte passed the thought of the discharge and thinking of whats a head :) i havent had anymore brown discharge for 4 hours so hoping it stays away... nurse also said that things are changing so any little thing could set it off she just wants me to stay relaxed so that is what ill try to do...thanks for all your thoughts and prayers today... you girls are all amazing:)

Kynlee: I bled pink to red to brown during weeks 5-7 and everything was fine.

Leora: OMG! I am watching and wishing for the best for you.

Lyd: I understand how you feel about remaining embryos. I swore that I'd be done at two but now, I am thinking about our two on ice but my husband is not on board. I think that it would be easier for me to accept being done if I at least gave a chance to the two that we have left.

Anton - Woohoo!! I don't post much but still check on how you are doing.. So happy you have a job i know with the job hunt and IVF it hasn't been easy. Your DH sounds awesome by the way. as far as doing IVF with the new job.. I would give it a month or so and check out the work environment. Some companies are really laid back on when you take off of work, others are not. If they are pretty laid back then I would go for November or so. Congrats!!!

Leora - I am holding out hope for your little bean. Tell that stupid dr to shut his/her mouth about m/c cus this little bean is sticking for 9 mo.

Kynlee- glad the nurse was able to set your mind straight. I had several episodes of bleeding when i was pregnant. Its scary but it is normal..

AFM - Beta jumped for 5 to 24. doubling time of 20.77 hrs. I still have along way to go.. I'm thinking positive that this little girl is going to stay put.

Chris - see your numbers are looking great! Maybe she just implated late. I'm rooting for you!!!

Kynlee - I'm glad one of us can relax...

AFM: I just called the clinic and said, please tell me my results, now...I'm dying! Michelle, the receptionist who knows me laughed! They should be calling me soon!
