Leiora- OMG I'm praying for a positive outcome for you, you have been thru so much!

to_havefun- hoping your little girl hangs on and your beta rises!

kynlee- I spotted and cramped till 10wks with both pregnancies and it was fine. However, I know the worrying never ends, just relax and try to enjoy :)

I know I am not around too much but lupron is killing me, my mood and my power. I feel like crashing everyday around 6 and thats not possible with two little ones. I had a final u/s today which was good so we are all set for transfer next Friday. It feels like the last couple of week just flew by. I'm not looking forward to PIO injections at all :(

Leora - OMG! To me a heartbeat is a fabulous sign. Weird that they are concerned about the shape of the sac. It's irregular by definition! Are they worried it is "leaking"? I'm so stalking for your updates.

Patricia - I was wondering if the nasal spray might irritate your throat. Poor thing!

Nicole - glad to see you start another cycle. And thank you for the FB advice today. I'm quite frustrated.

Anton - HOORAY for the job! It will be great. My vote would be to wait a couple months o get a feel for the place before you decide when to cycle.

Ok, done crashing.

Happy Bunny wrote:Kynlee: I bled pink to red to brown during weeks 5-7 and everything was fine.

Leora: OMG! I am watching and wishing for the best for you.

Lyd: I understand how you feel about remaining embryos. I swore that I'd be done at two but now, I am thinking about our two on ice but my husband is not on board. I think that it would be easier for me to accept being done if I at least gave a chance to the two that we have left.
Barbara, that's exactly how I feel! I just want to give the remaining embryos a chance. I wouldn't want to start a fresh cycle at 42. But I just want closure with the remaining embryos!

Anton - congrats on the job! That's awesome news! I can't wait to stock you next winter.

Leora - I am so sorry you are going thru beta hell. I hope this works out for you. But there is nothing worse than false hope and the up/down roller coaster.

Cyn - you have one good hubby there! I hope your frozen embryos work for you so you don't have to resort to other measures.

We - I hope you get some answers tomorrow and peace of mind. It is weird they are not more responsive. Maybe there snitching they can do until you actually start dilating. But still it is nerve racking.

Amy- I hope the situation you spoke of on FB works out. Frustrating and annoying!

Madame- I did stims last year with the long lupron protocol. I had to stim for 12 days. This time I'm using the antagonist protocol with cetrotide instead of lupron. I'm using the same amount of FSH through gonal-f along with mini-hcg for the stim.

Maria- I'm sorry the OB didn't answer your questions. Definitely call back tomorrow and ask why the OB wouldn't want to see you when the L&D doc said to see him.

Patricia- I would have lost my mind if I had a sore throat for this long. Are you having infections anywhere else? I know cycling can reduce immunity. My acupuncturist said that most women she sees get sick during IVF cycles. I hope it is all cleared up before you start stimming so it doesn't make it worse. Are you taking any immune boosters along with the antibiotic?

Leora- Still thinking of you. I did read up on the irregular sac issue. Did the doc say what the sac shape is? Oblong, bumpy, skinny, triangle?

Kynlee- How are you feeling?

Chris- Congrats on the beta doubling! Hopefully it is just a late implanter and your betas will continue to rise!

Dys24- Lupron sucks. I'm sorry you are having such problems with fatigue. Good luck with the transfer!

AFM- Suppression check in the morning then I have to work. I was pretty tired today. I was able to work out lightly last night which is good. I'm not supposed to do anything vigorous until after Friday due to the hysteroscopy last week. I won't be able to do much once I get into the stimming so I have to stick to my eating plan. I will want to lose another 3 lbs. I'm getting there.

Not much else going on. I had another sign language lesson today. I have a good sign language background but have been studying ASL quite extensively. My former teacher from the local community college does private tutoring so I'm taking advantage of that this summer. She's Deaf so it is sink or swim!

Hi ladies

Just running g out the for to work so I'll do personals later

Madam x; my apologies I meant that for waiting kay. Ll bet that was confusing!!!!!

Waiting kay: I hope I wasn't rude when I said not to disappear. I know people stay on these forums for as long as they need them - and its my stuff but I'm always a little disappointed when someone just ups and leaves when they get BFPs. I genuinely believe in reciprocity and I think its marvellous when you wonderful pregnant ladies can ease our minds as you have been through it and also that we get to journey with you. Yes, the link between mind and body is amazing, one of my specialisms is trauma and the link there is just huge (as I have no doubt your know). Your work must be really exciting? I'm wishing you lots of blessings fr your results

Wehavehope- I had a little brown today but not enough to alarm me this time I guess, Everyone has put me at ease so unless its flowing out I am staying in control :)

Dys24- thanks for letting me know this happened to you, when I hear that it makes me alittle more relieved :) Have you tried the Elma cream when you do the PIO shots? It is a miracle worker I have never felt the shots and have not bruised barely sore it definitely is worth it to try :)

Blueeyedreamer- thanks for checking on me, I am hanging in there with the help of each of you girls :)

Kay- How did your beta go? Thinking of you

Christy- How are you doing?

AFM- Trying to stay positive alittle brown discharge on liner today, not as much as yesterday, I only had it yesterday morning and this morning so I am not going to alarm myself unless it gets real bad... Praying for things to be ok, I got to trust in God with this :)

dys24 - I hear you about the lupron! This is only an FET cycle for me, but I am so bloated I don't even want to get dressed in the morning, I have no energy for anything (work, house cleaning, mom stuff, wife stuff), and half the time I just want to kill somebody for no apparent reason. Mostly my DH.

Happy Bunny/LYD10 - I feel the same way about my frosties. We currently have 4, which is nominally enough for 2 FET's, since we have been transferring 2 at a time. I don't even know yet what will happen with this cycle, but I am already thinking that if it works I will still want to try and transfer the remaining 2. I didn't feel this way until I had my son (and I am still pro-choice), but now I have this overwhelming feeling that to NOT transfer them would be to denying their right to a chance of becoming beautiful, wonderful people like my DS. Totally irrational, but nobody ever - EVER - said mothers were rational.

WeHaveHope - Sorry to hear about your early contractions. I had a lot of early contractions. By 35 weeks I was having days when they were coming every 1-5 minutes for an hour. I went to my OB a couple of times, but since I clearly wasn't in active labor there wasn't much they could do but recommend I take it easy. That said, I agree that if you want to see your OB sooner you should insist on doing so. It's your body and your babies, and your decision to make as to what you feel comfortable with - not theirs. Call and insist on answers, and if you don't like them insist on being seen. Sorry if I sound like an evangelist or something, but I am so tired of doctors treating us women like we have no clue about what's going on with our own bodies.

Kay – I’m so happy to be sharing this journey with you as well! I can’t wait to know your results today! You might be stalking them like I was yesterday!

Ninde – You will be starting before we know it! How exciting!

Kynlee – That’s so exciting! Your U/S is less than a week away!

Wehavehope – hmm…I don’t know much about labor yet, but do whatever you have to for your own piece of mind.

Klinger – thanks for rooting me on! It means so much! Are you thinking about baby #2? Maribel is so adorable!

Madame X – how are you feeling? Any symptoms yet? When is your U/S?

Dys – tell me about it with the PIO shots. My butt is like a mine field! It’s terrible. I talked to the nurse yesterday about it and they said that I could switch to suppositories, but last cycle when I was on suppositories, my progesterone level was low, so I don’t think it’s enough for me. I don’t want to do anything that could jeopardize this pregnancy, so more lumps for me!

AFM: feeling so relieved to have made it through yesterday. I know it’s going to be a long road, but it was just a mental block for me! I have a 3rd beta tomorrow and then my U/S will be on Aug 14 at 7 weeks. I was hoping for a 6 week U/S, so we’ll see. We are going to tell my family on Aug 5, I invited them over for dinner. Trying to decide how to tell them at dinner. I want to make it special…DH family is all out of town, so I thought about sending his mom flowers from the baby…thought that would be sweet. Any ideas?

Tiger04 - It all depends on the timing for how to tell them. For my mom, we had been going through some really rough times with my sister having an illness and my mom was taking care of her kids while my sister was in the hospital. We hadn't planned to tell anybody that early but my mom was on the phone with me crying because she was just done in, and she said, "What's going on with you? Anything good? I could really use some good news." So I said, "Well you're getting another grandchild this November. Is that good news?" It was. With my MIL, we waited until after 12 weeks for her birthday and gave her a card "To Grandma" since it was her first grandchild. Of course that kind of stalled the party for a bit since she then had to call her brother, nephew, and best friend to tell them the news! :)

Finally got my results, beta today was 486. That's an okay doubling time of 55 hours and RE told us to schedule an U/S. We will go directly to the high risk doctor (the 1 with the nasty secretary) because RE is on vacation 2 weeks from now which is when we should come.
I'll do personals later, I had a long day, at least DH is coming back home tomorrow.

tiger04- Too bad you couldnt get your U/S before then you could of put the Picture in a frame at Dinner and that could of been a Opening topic once someone noticed :) For my Family I am waiting til 10 or 12 weeks, I plan on taking my oldest sister to my OB appt and tell her I need her to come with me so she can listen in to what the Dr has to say she will be clueless till she the screen, I am the last one to have Kids so everyone has been waiting for us so she will be over the moon.. As for my MIL I think we are going to do the Grandma Card and sign it a New addition coming soon with the Due date & the U/S pic :) The rest of my large family will find out together and not sure how yet might be over a cookout :) Good Luck I know it is going to be very exciting to tell the World, I cant wait to scream it from the roof tops :)

Only have a second to post but I wanted to say I have been reading and wanted to say Congratulations to all the ladies with increasing betas! July has been good and I'm wondering who will be cycling with me, I'm thinking most will be PAT, but I do agree with Ninde that it's awesome support when the ones we formerly cycled with crash here easing our worrysome minds!

Anton- Congratulations on your new job, I cannot wait to hear all about your first day was with P&G. :D
Leora- wow this most be an emotional rollercoaster but it's not over yet!
Kynlee- If I'm reading right you have an appointment today?
WeHaveHope- Sometimes we don't understand how doctors think, but you must keep the faith that you are in good hands.

AFM: I've been sleeping so much that time has gotten away from me yes another day at work but Summer is almost gone. I long for things going back to normal where dh and I can feel safe and secure here, where we can just have a normal life and not worry about the future, where we can call this our home...I miss the past where we would spend hours in the garden planting away as we talked about having a family someday.

Kay-congratulation. That's great news. I'm so happy for you.

Sunshine-I completely understand how you are feeling. But please know that those days you long for will return. I know it's hard to see past this situation and uncertainty but have faith. I'll to hold both of you in my prayers.

Thank you to all of my friends on this board for your feedback and your prayers. I should be hearing back from my OB sometime this afternoon. I will keep you posted.

Thanks, we're so totally in love with our little girl. It's hard to believe she's already a year old! Sometimes I think I'd love to try for a baby #2 but I think she'll be our only little one. We're self pay for ivf & at $14k a try, we don't think we want to gamble again on my one aging ovary. :D Since my ticker pic is so old here's a pic of Maribel on her 1st birthday modeling a soccer uniform from a Brazilian friend of mine.
