Had my recovery on Monday we had 12 eggs,6 fertilized the next day.went down for transfer on Wednesday had 1 good egg that divided 4 times no signs of fragmentation one fair quality egg that divided 3 times and showed some signs of fragmentation the rest all fragmented and were no good to freeze.
I have been absolutely shattered all week and spent most of the time in bed its only today that i feel a tad better. The pain has been awful i really thought I was going to get OHSS again but so far so good.
Now it is the awful 2WW.So anyone else on the 2WW I will be thinking off you all and good luck.I test on the 28th July.
Hi Jane....well done for getting to the 2ww. There are a few others on 2ww too - have a read of the July Cycle Buddies thread. I know Dagny had ET on Monday so you're very close in dates. She's lovely and is hugely supportive so you'll be safe there! There's also a thread to add your test date to (called June/July test dates, I think). It's so much easier to bear the 2ww when you can share with others in the same predicament.
I'm glad you're feeling a little better. This really takes it out of you, doesn't it? All the meds, tmts, scans, apts, waiting, waiting, waiting....did I mention the waiting? ...enough to do your head in
Take care and I look forward to following your progress to that BFP!
hugs,
Debra.

Results: 1 daughter, 2 m/c, 1 ectopic.
Hoorah,
am finally a 2ww again. One Ok embryo and one not too good but heh at least I got the chance of a frozen cycle.
Jane - everyone has all sorts of twinges on 2ww - think of them as positive twinges and takes lots of rest as the blood needs to flow around the uterus, and not be used up going to other areas of you body.
Hi Debra - hope things are OK for you, its nice hearing from fellow cycle buddies.
How are you doing???? Like Debra said I am on the 2ww also and I test on the 26th and I am going insane I have just posted to Tammi who has tested on day 8 and got a neg and I am using all my will power to keep away from those pee sticks!!!
I had a 3 cell and a 4 cell put back too so we really are exactly the same bar a few days and we didn't get any to freeze either
Hi Sophie-jane
Looks like we are all pretty close on the 2ww. When do you test and I'll put you on the testers thread.
I feel pretty normal (whatever that might be??) and have no real signs.
Going quietly insane
Good luck to us all.

Hi Dagny and Jane,
My god I am only on day 3 of 2ww and it seems to have dragged on so much. I want to be positive and nuture these embryos but then I am so worried that they have stopped dividing already and failed to implant.
I have owever had some twinges on my right lower below abdomen and hoping that vthis is a good sign.
Dagny,
Stay away from those hpt's .... it will only stress you more whatever result you get. I think however that I will do a day early this time. Especially as I have a work meeting at 11:00am on the morning I should test.
Jane, hope you have lots of PMA, and i hope you are feeling slightly better. With 12 eggs you are bound to still be feeling bloated and sore.
Take it easy.
I have just read Zita Wests book from cover to cover. She says at least 3 days bed rest. Damn, I went shopping round Bournemouth with my sister yesterday for 3 hours, so feel I might have blown my chances.
There I go again swaying from negative to positive in one post.
Good luck to you both ...

Sophie Jane
Hi Sophie-Jane and Dagny
Sophie-Jane which clinic did you use? I went to Southampton (Wessex) have been to Dorchester too! Do you live in Bournemouth I live in Shaftesbury.I went for a walk up to Melbury Hill with the dog and I keep thinking maybe I overdid it as I was very tierd when I got back and had to have a little sleep.
Dagny
We are about the same time you just a little before me.I think it was you who said in an earlier thread about the constant knicker checking HOw right you are.MY consultant said no way do the HPT before the day given,he also said No house work Good man.
I am convinced it hasn't taken as I have had no pains etc.to make me think that it has worked or am I just being negative.Only 9 days to go to find out.If it doesn't work I am going to book a last minute holiday and just get away.
5th and final go can't put my body through it again!!!!!
Good luck to you will be thinking of you
Jane

Hi Girls - I noticed that you are talking about how many cells were in each embryo so I called my doc. I had 4 implanted 2 were 7 cell and 2 were 8 cell - they all had slight fragmentation. Is it better to have more cells or less cells when they do the transfer? Also what is fragmentation? Is that really not good?. My test is on July 22nd. unless I die from waiting first. Can't wait to hear from all of you about your test dates. Dagny gooood luck you are next after me.
Tammi - lots of successful pgs come from partially fragmented cells. It sounds like it might be negative but my clinic have said it's not necessarily bad. I think ideally they stay whole but a little fragmentation doesn't mean anything too bad. If it carries on though then I think there comes a stage where they're too fragmented for us.
Re. the number of cells. It all depends on which day your clinic do egg transfer. I believe the cells in a healthy embryo double every 24 hours, so depending which day they go back, could be anywhere between 4-8 (although 3 isn't unusual either). If you read the July buddies, someone in the US had 4/5 embroys put back, one was a 10 cell as it had been fertilised one day before the rest but put back at the same time.
Hope this helps,
Debra.

Thanks for your replys girls. They did my transfer on day 3 so I guess the 7 and 8 cells were normal. I was quite suprised when my doc suggested putting 4 eggs in. I think he may have cuz I kinda gave him hell about not getting any to freeze after my 1st try and I had to start all over and pay all over. We have now spent over 30 thousand $'s. and our insurance here pays absolutly 0 dollars. Our baby better be a prodigy of some kind (Just kidding). Thanx for all your support everyone. If you havent read yet I made a mistake about my pg test date it is tomorrow not thursday. IM SOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!
Hi Jane!
I'm new to the boards. I had three 8-cells put back and I'm testing on the 27th!! We had 21 eggs, 19 fertilized all ICSI. Froze 5 on day 2 and just found out that 4 went to blast and freezing today.
I felt so fat from not exercising for 2 weeks that I walked on the treadmill (slowly) the day after transfer, and yesterday..I hope that didn't cause any problems...ugh!! We never stop worrying do we!
I've got my fingers and toes crossed for us!!

HI ladies
just to say -good luck with the 2WW - its the worst bit. Ignore ALL symptoms because they won't tell you anything. Just put your feet up and relax (ha ha!!)
Anyway - just to say hello and all the luck

Welcome to the website. It sounds like you had a lovely lots of eggs with super fertilisation and lots to freeze. I have never been lucky enough to have any frozen even though I get a good lot of eggs.
Sending you lots of luck, I'll put your name on the June/July testers thread.

Just wanted to say 'hello' and join this thread.......tried to resist and pretend I was not utterly obcessed with this 2ww............but, I hold my hands up........I AM!!
God, its my 5th 2ww and still it does not get any easier........not tempted to test early though........generally I don't have to as AF comes before day 14!!
Had a natural DIUI..............got sore bbs and I am exhausted.....but I am putting the tiredness down to being on Metformin and not being allowed to go to the gym - buggers!! Apparently going to the gym can cause the uterus to contract and this may hinder the process!!
Going on Monday for day 8-10 Progesterone testing..... and that is about me summed up!
Wish you all..........millions and millions of luck girls!!
