try not to worry. It's old blood, could be from days ago and is just being cleared out by the body. I had some brown and some fresh blood and many people do. Even though it's hard try and remember that the majority of people do have some spotting and you only need to worry if its heavy and sustained. The af type cramps are something i had at the beginning and in fact all the way through. I even get the same feelings now at 36 weeks!
Keep us informed.

Hi Loopy,

Just to say not to worry. I am 11 weeks & last week started with that discharge & pains & I've still got the discharge. Had a scan & baby is fine, completely oblivious to whats going on. Just take it easy & if you find its getting worse then get some advice.

Take Care :)

Hi Loopy

I know you will be worried after last time but as the others say it is old blood and or implantation bleeding.
You had a great HCG reading so hang in there

Hi Loupy
I just want to reassure you. In my first 10 or so weeks I spotted on and off. Of couse I made myself crazy thinking that something was wrong - but thankfully everything is fine and I'm now 27 weeks. So what I'm trying to say is that it is pretty common and try not to worry (easier said than done!). If you are that concerned ask the clinic to give you another scan just to put your mind to rest.
Love, Michelle xxxx

Hi Loopy,

Just wanted to reassure you too.
I had browny discharge and at 7 weeks they did a scan to make sure everythign was ok. They found I was pregnant with twins!! They say with twins they often give a discharge as they continue to bed in and can last up to 12 weeks. What was your hcg level? Maybe you are having twins too.

Best wishes and I hope everything works out with you. If you are still concerned I'd ask for another scan.

my clinic said this is VERY common - and not to worry at all (ha ha!)
How are you feeling now??
Its SUCH a scarey time I know but try to be confident (I was/ am completely rubbish at "being confident "though!!)
Dont worry am sure your fine- remember how much you've been prodded about -there bound to be a bit of aftermath!
Take care - hope alls well

Oh gosh Loopy -not to worry - this is quite common, but any sight of blood makes us uneasy after all we have been through!! When I first was going through the 2ww I spotted dark brown and thought it was over!! A few days later a blood test confirmed a positive :)

Then, I continued to spot - went for ultrasounds whenever I did and all was well. There was no blood near the babies, but my doc just said that could have been from the multiples - as there is increased blood flow in that area as well as the progesterone injections cause more blood flow near the uterus -

So - easier said than done, but relax and put your feet up. My doc did say spotting was very common with multiples, and when this happens to just keep the legs elevated!!!

Good luck,
xo,
Denise

loopy, im so sorry to read about the worry u are having, and now having
to wait till trmw for another blood test, but try and take the positives out
of your blood test yesterday, the levels were rising so thats got to be good, and some of the girls on this site have had bleeds and everything
has turned out ok.
i know its going to be a long 24hrs, but try and stay calm.

Please don't give up hope Loopy.

I had brown bleeding, red bleeding, clots and bad cramps. After everything, I have Sam now! My bleeding went on throughout pregnancy and some women just do bleed. My mum had a period for her first 3 months..

Take care

I had spotting and bleeding for about 14 weeks of my pregnancy and have a gorgeous little girl to show for it, bleeding is very common, so please don't get too worried. Just thing of all the things that have been going on inside there, as well as the `normal' pg stuff, a bit of blood here and there can make sense.

Rest up, drink lots and take care
