lauren- I think it so wierd that my RE has not ordered bw to see my levels when I asked yesterday she said that I am doing pio shots so my levels are fine so they dont need to check them.. I think I will have my OB check before I get off the meds... When you switched from your Clinic to your OB did they do a U/S 1st appt or did you see with the OB and then they schedule a u/s? Not sure how this all works...I called my OB yesterday to schedule appts and she said if I already had several u/s why do I need to schedule one with ob, this was the nurse I was talking to I told her that I am doing IVF and was told by my RE to schedule one so now I am totally lost... lol

kynlee - my clinic doesn't check progestrone or E2 levels either. As far as the OB goes, once you go to the OB you are in most cases just another patient. most OB's don't do ultra sounds till at least 12 weeks. When i was pregnant last time, i told a little white lie that i had some painful stabbing in my abdoman so the OB gave me an u/s on my first visit. i know it wasn't right but i got to see my bean again.. LOL!! I also stopped all meds at 8 weeks.. I think the placenta takes over in week 6 or 7 so you don't need support after that.. I think some clinics do it at a precaution.

Laurn319 - Sorry you are still sick.. don't they say m/s is supposed to stop after the 1st trimester? hope yours goes away soon.

Leoria - how you doing girly.. So happy that you got to graduate to the pregnant board again.. FX'd that all goes well.


AFM - 12 more days till u/s and then hopefully i can officially say i am preggo. Still contemplating on getting another beta done.. if i did i would wait till monday.

tohavefun- I like that white lie I may have to try something too since my Ob is saying the same 12weeks I dont think I can go 4 weeks without seeing my bean either Yeah im so nervous about getting off the meds, but my RE said the placenta is there by 7 weeks and my own body builds up what I need, I think I will stay on it till 10 weeks then go off of it... Did you quick cold turkey or wean yourself off? 12 days will be here before you kno wit How many Betas do they do at your clinic?

Kynlee - I wasn't released to my OB until 12 weeks, so she did do an ultrasound, but wouldn't have if I had gone earlier.

Chris - I'm having twins, so the m/s may never leave. BTW you're officially preggo NOW!! You don't need an ultrasound to tell you that.

I still can't believe this is happening!

I'm throwing up and my breasts kill and I'm exhausted all the time - I forgot how *fun* the first trimester is.

I'm still super nervous about my u/s on Tuesday - but also happy I bit the bullet and made an OB appt for Aug 13th. I've never been happy with an OB/MFM.... so hopefully I'll like this one. With my history, I'm going to need a lot of 'hand holding' to get me through this!

Chris - I really hope your u/s is good! If I were you, I would do another beta, but I'm also obsessive and crazy (just ask my husabnd!) so you might not want to take my advice!

Kynlee - by your cute new ticker, I see you are exactly a week behind me! Fun!

I am sure it isnt anything but figured I see if any of you had this before, today I was at the store and went pee noticed some thin soft reddish-clear tissue in the toilet (sorry if tmi) it was only a few of them very small and no cramps and no blood when I wiped... I called my RE and the on call DR calle dme back and said if there isnt blood on a pad that it could be nothing to just take it easy and call if any of the symptoms appear... Its been a few hours and now nothing... Anyone seen this before?

Kyn- Yep. No problem. A lot of crap comes loose and needs to go somewhere. I've had some weird stuff go on. I wouldn't worry unless you're actually bleeding...and a lot.

Hi Ladies,
Sorry I have been MIA. I have been so sick and tired. I can even describe how hard it is to have all these symptoms and run after a two year old all day. She has stopped napping two and if she does nap, then she goes to bed around midnight. Otherwise, so far so good. Went to my ob last friday (it was cheaper). Had a U/S and baby looked good. We even got to see arms and legs and heard the heartbeat. I cant wait to feel better soon. Hope yall are doing wonderful and giving lot of lovely vibes to your growing babies. Im still praying for you everyday Leora...I cant believe you have been through a similar M/C roller coaster before. Lord please let this be YOUR baby!

Kyn - I know its hard not to worry. Your going to drive yourself insane if you worry about every twinge. That baby is going to do things to your body that you never even thought of so just hang on for a ride.

leora - Yippee on your wonderful u/s. I am so happy for you!!! I was with you on doing another beta for me but i didn't want to pay the money. After i had some slight bleeding, i realized that i could go to the RE for and ultrasound and have insurance cover it and that would be a lot better then a beta. so that is pretty much what i did. If i hadn't thought of that i probably would have gotten another beta done today cus i was on my way to becoming the mayor of crazy town.

Kala - sorry you have been sick and tired. I often wonder how i am going to manage with my 9 mo old and being preggo. guess I'll just take it one day at a time but he is going to wear me out.


AFM - Got an ultrasound yesterday cus i had some bleeding. I knew it was probably nothing but really really had to know if this pregnancy was viable. We saw a little bitty heartbeat. so cute. HB measured 100bpm so still low but its early. I go back next week for another u/s and then hopefully the HB will be stronger.
