Madame X – Thanks for the advice on Mint gum. I stocked up last night! Sounds like you know the best thing, which is finding a new OB. Go with your gut. Can you ask some of your friends for suggestions?

Kay – That is so exciting! Congrats on your wonderful U/S! So much to celebrate. Please let me know how it progresses. Don’t you think they will monitor you more frequently now? Did you schedule another U/S?

Always – Maybe think about shiatsu? Could help with moving around that water in you!

Ninde – That’s crazy! Are you going to be okay? Congrats on stimming…I’m glad your headaches are starting to go away! When is your first SnS? Can’t wait to hear how many follicles are growing in there!

Dys – congrats girl!!! So exciting!

AFM: clearly nothing new…grr…STILL waiting for my 1st u/s. It’s about a century away.

I'm still in shock, I POAS and the thing was moving and the line popped up right away and I thought art first is the control line but then it kept moving and the second line popped up I nearly fell... lol I really really didn't expect it, it was only one blast so I thought my chances are slim. Guess I was wrong Beta is on Sunday I will be 9dp5dt

DYS- YIPPPEE!!! Congrats.. one blast can work.. I only transferred one. It was scary cus I always thought transferring more would better my odds but I didn't want twins so we only did one.. So happy for you. You should have a really nice beta if the line is coming up that quick..

Blue -- Looking for you Fert report. hoping its good today..

LaurenN - Hoping your donor is stimming away and you get lots of good eggies.

We have 6 embryos. Of the 15, 10 were mature and 6 fertilized. I'm surprised we didn't get more, but 6 is good. We will likely do the transfer on Saturday. My clinic cuts off at 8 embryos to push to blast. But, if on saturday they all look great then we may push for 5 day.

Dys – YAY!!! Congrats on the BFP on the HPT!!! Can’t wait to see the beta number

Ninde – What? I can’t believe this arthritis stuff! I know 20 minutes is a lot to spend mixing but it will be shorter as you get use to it. And hopefully all the mixing will be worth it in it end!

Tiger – I also have an u/s scheduled for 8/14… Tuesday is going to be booming on here!

Blue – 6 embies is great! Will you get an update on how they are doing?

Kynlee – I will definitely let you know how the tapering goes. I am ready to quit the PIO!

AFM- Got a new OB and scheduled my 10 week u/s with them for 8/27. I am so excited! They were really nice. I did call one other Dr. but decided with this one! Also, I am going on a girls weekend to the Hershey Spa for a bachelorette party. I had to change my app b/c the one service I was getting was not recommended for pregnant women. They wanted to send a confirmation to the maid of honor. I was like can you NOT do that…. no one knows yet. They were cool with it. The wedding is Oct 7th… I hope I fit in my dress!

Madamex- Thank you I can use any info you have on tapering the meds As for the PIO shots I have had no issues no bruising no pain did you use the Elma cream? That sounds like a nice Girls nights out, is that near Hershey park? I was thinking of pampering myself to relax me with a pregnancy massage or even a nice pedi and Mani I need a ME day lol Did you already order your Dress? Maybe you can call to ask if they can up it one size cause you can always get it taken in... I already gained weight and I am only 8wks and my pants already dont want to button... Not complaining though

Kynlee- I don’t have too much pain either and barely any bruising from the PIO just kinda a numb sensation and hurts to the touch. It is just planning it out. My DH works weekends and then I have to find my mom or sister to give it to me. I am too scared to do it myself. Or if I want to go out for dinner…. Everything is planned around it. I can’t complain too much though, it hasn’t been too bad, and I am super thankful that everything worked out this time. I am actually a bridesmaid in the wedding. I will be 16 weeks. When we got measured I was a size 8 bust, and size 6 in the waist and hips. It is actually usually the other way around, smaller on top, but anyway I ordered the 8. The dress should arrive mid September, talk about cutting it close. There is really nothing I can do; I have to get into it! Every time I want to splurge on some extra goodies I think of getting into that dress! Then sometimes I still splurge I am a little tight in the pants too. I am scared for school to start back up and having to get into my dress pants.

Kynlee: I think there is a good bit of growth in thee first trimester. Are you showing?

Afm: rough day in some ways. Had my individual meeting with the adoption people. Dh's is next week then only 5 more to go!! It was fine but lots of big issues talked about which I suppose left me a bit open. Then i had a fight with my best friend, im blaming my increased sensitivity on my first night of stimms!!

Madamex-yes thats my biggest complaint too, THe timing of the shots makes me have to go around that and sometimes I just feel rushed... I cant do overtime or I will be late on the shot and I can go for dinner right from work since i have to do the shots... Only a couple more weeks and I cant complain either since My biggest dream came through Well if worse comes to worse they will have to add some material

Ninde- Yes I have gained a little belly I have always been in juniors size 9 jeans now I cant buttom them I think the progesterone helps with the weight gain... My MIL and Sister said I already got a little baby shape going on lol And I think the 1st trimester you do start to gain around 8 weeks which is where I am...

So I was craving my MIL chicken pot pie and since she knows I am preggo she whipped it up and brought it to me at 11pm last night, talk about a great MIL She said she couldnt let me wait days if the Baby was already wanting something I could get use to this I am finding that I am limited to so many food items, is anyone else going around what they say you can and cannot eat? I need some recipes

Kynlee- I say book the mani/pedi for this weekend and go for something extraordinary like a sugarscrub. I cannot wait for your upcoming ultrasound, extremely exciting! All those additional progesterone shots will be well worth it. As for the recipes I think it would be fun if we could add some of our favorite recipes/cravings on here. I think that was so sweet of your MIL to whip you up some of her chicken pot pie--she's going to make an Awesome Gram! I wonder what your little one will someday call her, awww and you know she's going to spoil her grandbaby!

Ninde- Breathe in and out...now repeat. I wish even our best friends could understand what we're going through yet remember you're never alone in this journey. I would love to hear more about the adoption process. Are you putting alot of time into it? It's good that you are stimming and giving this everything you've got, either way the outcome will be worth it. Someone from a former board used to bring out a baby blanket everytime she gave herself an injection, visual stimulation she said really helped. We only know what works best for each individual person...There must be a way to manage stress during IVF ha maybe I just gave you a lightbulb? We need someone to develop us an online workshop teaching us how to manage stress while undergoing IVF? In a nutshell this would include eatting healthier, getting more sleep, relaxation techiques and how to whip our butt into shape prior to stimming!

Maria- I agree with Ninde it does seem like it's flown by but maybe not so much to you ...How are you doing?

Nicole- I cannot wait for your upcoming ET! How many embies do you think you guys will transfer this time? I'm rooting for you!

Madame- How cool, October 7th is also my cousin's wedding! I soooo cannot wait to see my family and everyone back in Alabama. I agree with Kynlee definately order the dress one size bigger just in case. When do you plan on telling everyone? I'm more jealous over the Hershey Spa then anything that sounds like something that would be right up my alley!

Dys- Your news makes me smile and reminds us one embibaby is living proof! Congratulations on your pregnancy!

AlwaysAngel- Keep us posted but I'm sure your little bean is doing just fine.

Leora- Thanks for the message the other day, that was so thoughtful. How are you and David holding up?

AFM: Well over my off day Michael and I coordinated paperwork to refinance the house and cut our payments down. Tomorrow we're paying off his truck and then we're reapplying for the IVF ATTAIN loan to see if we can get assistance on the entire amount. He keeps telling me he doesn't want his job transtion to keep us from starting a family. I keep telling him Fall is right around the corner so it's now or next year. We have to get our butts into gear and stop worrying about finances I know but once we get the loan cleared maybe then we can focus on what's more important. Must stay focussed!

Ninde- I have severe ohss my first cycle 2 years ago I had severe symptoms prior to transfer! Did you talk with re about this???

Waiting- I'm glad you bloat has resolved, I'm still bloated, but I can function. I think it went down a little...very little. How far along were u when it resolved? I think your a week ahead of me? ET was 7/18.

Afm-the same...tired, bloated, waves of nausea....doing a beta on sat to easy my mind for the next week until u/s on 8/16. I know betas don't prove anything but it will help if I know it is rising ..... I think...

Always- this time we will do a 3 day. My clinic does 3 day transfers unless you have at least 8 embryos. This will be my first 3 day.

Madame- I'm jealous of the girls weekend. I did get a pedi with my friend the other day. It was nice.

I'm jealous of you ladies in your size 6 and juniors sizes! I haven't been a 6/7 since high school!

I start the prog shots tomorrow. I'm still pretty crampy and have a tiny bit of spotting from retrieval. We went to a concert tonight with our friends. It was a nice getaway.

I think it is cool that we will have the ET on dh's birthday! Plus it is a funny coincidence that we saw Roger Hodgson the Thursday before our wedding and now the Thursday before our ET. Maybe Supertramp will be our good luck charm.

sunshine- GL with you loan, have you thought about the shared-risk program does your clinic offer it? its usually cheaper than attain, thats what we did.

I POAS today line is same not darker not lighter, I'm thinking its normal, I had some spotting yesterday but it stopped. Can't wait for the beta on Sunday. I hope everything is ok, I'm a little freaked out about the spotting though.
